Aras laughed as well and picked Elsair up and kissed his cheek "As much as i enjoy your antics i believe it is bedtime." She said softly.

Aras nodded and smiled. "Indeed." She laid down on the mat that was unrolled on the wooden floor and then she put Elsair next to her so that the small child would be between her and Haldir. She looked at Haldir and smiled.

Haldir laid down as well, taking one of Aras' hands in his own. He watched their son sleep, a smile on his face.
"We will be safe up here." he spoke. "Orcs do not tend to climb trees in these woods, and even though the power of Lothlorien has fallen somewhat, I believe they would still be too frightened of the consequences to do much more than simply pass beneath the trees."

She watched the little boy sleep, smiling happily, though she was listening to Haldir as well "Thats good...I was hoping i wouldn't have to worry tonight..." She said, kissing his nose.

"All you have to worry about, is sleeping through the night peacefully." Haldir replied. "And that, meleth nin, you can do without any worries." the Elf sighed, looking up at the leaves above their heads.
"It is soothing..." he spoke as he remembered. "To sleep outside within nature. I know our homes are built to embrace the natural world... but there is something different about simply being outside."

She smiled and nodded "Indeed she said with a bit of a drawl in her voice she kissed him softly ans moved a bit closer "Good night..." She said before falling asleep.

Aras woke to the bright sun in her eyes and she groaned. She turned over and tried to get away from the sun but soon found it was to no avail. She still wasn't a morning person.

Haldir however, had woken with the dawn, as he usually did. The Marchwarden was standing at the edge of the flet, watching the distant horizon.
"Good morning." he spoke, sensing that Aras had woken. "Sleep well?"

Aras groaned "Yes. Until about two minutes ago." She sighed and sat up, brushing her hair out of her face. "Why are you always up so early?" She asked yawning.

She sat up and pulled Elsair into her lap. He reached for Haldir howiling "ADA! ADA!!" Aras laughed lightly and handed the child over.
