Savarti didn't say anything to Hali when she went inside, seemingly in a daze.
The Valkyrie sighed and shook her head. She really, really wanted to help Hali. There was a core of strength in her that Savarti had sensed.

Of course, she had tried to bring it out the wrong way. For that, she would have to apologize. Best she should do that in the morning when Hali had some time to think and sleep on her own. That and she did want to say thanks.

The next morning, Savarti knocked on her door gently, about the time she thought Hali would get up. After a few minutes of silence, she knocked on the door and announced that she was coming in.

Inside the room was clean, with a note on the desk. Walking up to it hesitantly, she picked up and read it.

Going pale and swallowing at its contents, she realized that Oriana would be right bloody pissed with her.

One damn thing at a time.

Going to the kitchen, she entered with a sigh. "Queen Oriana? I believe I have done something very wrong." she said quietly while setting the note on the table.

Kaiser got up at the crack of dawn, rolling out of bed non too stealthily and grouchily pulling his armor and clothing on.

Myrr murmered something about fishing, at the bloody crack of bloody goddamn dawn, and how she intended to break his fishing rod before rolling over and drifting off.

Kaiser left the house that they used as a base, without his fishing gear. He headed down to the Lake once again, though he had his cloaking field up. Watching the Sunrise over the massive waterfalls, he scanned the waters for Hali.

Savarti nodded and left the kitchen. She wanted to find Hali, and fast. Somewhere in her guts, she didn't think Oriana wanted Hali to come home. Which meant the Valkyrie had to find her first. Running out the front door, she launched herself off the terrace and found flying natural.

When the hell did she learn how to fly, anyways? Oh well.

Covering an extreme amount of ground fast, she frantically searched for Hali.

Kaiser decloaked a fair distance from Hali and walked up to her. "I see you are taking up on my offer. Come on. We need to get to shelter. I've a feeling the Guards are going to be looking for you." he said as he led her into the forest, silent as a shadow.

Kaiser stopped, drawing a Katar. "Keep going, follow the slight path." he whispered, seemingly next to her even though he was a good four feet in front of her.

Disappearing from sight on his next step, he doubled back and ran down the path, intent on silencing the guard, permanently. His only trace was the slight rustling of grass and plants as he dashed back.

He pulled out a small crystal and projected a thought into it, before crushing it.

At Myrr and Kaiser's house, a silver bell rang. Myrr instantly sprung awake and was out of bed, looking at the piece of paper under the bell.

We have a very important guest coming to stay with us for a few nights. She needs to disappear for quite a while, so I'm taking her to the Moonlight Compound. See to it that she makes it back to the house. She's taking my usual fishing trail. the message read.

"...Kaiser, what have you gotten us into THIS time!?" she growled as she leapt back into their shared room, and hurriedly dressed before dashing out the front door, shape shifting into a fox before bounding down the trail.

Kaiser snuck up to the guard, moving inch by inch to him. Even though Kaiser knew his cloak was nigh on perfect, it didn't hide traces of his passing.

Kaiser snarled frustration. That kill was just outright messy! He was out of practice. Speeding up the path, he caught up to Hali and took the bag out of her hands, smelling faintly of blood.

"Well that went miserably wrong. Oh well." he grumbled.

Myrr came bounding down the path, transforming at the sight of the pair. "Think you escaped all pursuit?"

"Yeah. Killed it. We should be fine for a few hours." Kaiser rumbled.

"Aye. Myrr, this is Queen Hali. Your Highness, this is Myrr, a partner of mine." Kaiser rumbled, while still walking forward. Myrr dropped behind Kaiser and Hali, watching the rear.

After a bit of a hike, they came upon Kaiser and Myrr's secluded manor house. It was obviously meant for more then just two people but the only signs of life showed that there were two people living in the manor.

"Here's our humble home and a temporary rest stop." Kaiser said. "We'll rest here for a day or two then head out from here into the wilderness of Aquious. It's going to be quite a hike as we can't take the official roads yet. So you'd best be ready to start hiking as of tommorow."

Kaiser said while opening the door to the house and ushering them in.

"And now," he said. "We wait."

Myrr motioned for Kaiser to go into their room.

Kaiser closed the door behind them and Myrr hissed at him. "What are you thinking, bringing her here!? You know standing orders were to NOT REVEAL OURSELVES, KAISER. The hell were you thinking with? Your c**k?" she snarled.

Kaiser stared her down with one eye.

"No. She needs help. Desperately. She needed to escape what has been built around her. Y'know her reputation, Myrr. Hell, you even accused me of sleeping with her. You know damn well I haven't." Kaiser retorted.

Myrr growled, her hair standing up on end while one hand went for a practice Katar.

"Fine, you want to settle it with a duel? We will." Kaiser snarled, standing up to his full height. "But know this, Agent Myrr, I outrank you. My decisions are not for you to question. But to follow to the best of your ability. At Sunrise tommorow, we will leave here, and head to Headquarters. It's the only place they won't look due to not knowing where it is."

"And pray tell, why would Headquarters accept her in?" Myrr hissed back.

"Gee, I don't know, we may operate far outside the law but we try and stay within it as much as we can, and sheltering Queen Hali would be fulfilling our duties as Citizens of Aquious. There will be no more discussion about this topic. Understand, Agent?"

Myrr drew her practice Katar and pointed it at him.

"ENOUGH." Kaiser practically roared, quivering with fury. Myrr was cowed and flinched away from him. "If I hear one more word out of you, there WILL be consequences. Do you hear me?"

"Yes sir." Myrr said sullenly.

Kaiser opened the door after asserting his authority to find Hali gone.

Sighing frustrated, he realized that he had probably scared her off. "Myrr, go look for Hali."

"Yes sir." she sulked as she transformed into a fox and bounded out the door, Kaiser close behind.

A few minutes found them outside Hali's bush where Kaiser sighed and shapeshifted into the cat again. Creeping into the bush, he snuck onto Hali's lap.

"Sorry if that bothered you, Hali." Kaiser purred. He got a sense of "Wow, you suck up." from Myrr but that was to be expected. "Its just that things are hard for us because of a lot of things that don't involve you. Fair enough? So just calm down and you'll get through this just fine."

Kaiser shifted back for sake of convienence and shrugged. "Eh, its no worse then what we'd usually get into back in the day. 'Cept with a lot less murder. So, really its just no trouble at all."

Myrr nodded hesitantly.

"Besides, Hali, are you really willing to toss this opportunity away? Think about it. Freedom for at least a short while. Instead of returning to the rather shitty life you lead." Kaiser said.
