 A pic from the VMA's will show his arms. Though when I look at more recent pics, it looks like his tattoos don't go down that far at all. Like maybe to his elbow.

This thread alternately pleases and horrifies me.
First, the horrifying bits:
The Doors, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Orgy, AFI, VAST, Machines of Loving Grace, A Perfect Circle, HIM, Nightwish, and Skinny Puppy are not goth. Even Depeche Mode isn't goth--it's a sort of dark synth-pop, if you will, though it does get lumped in with the goth genre a lot.
Some of these are just mislabeled, and some are just out-and-out wrong. To compare Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy to HIM and AFI? I nearly choked on my coffee.
And the pleasing bits:
Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, The Cure, Clan of Xymox, The Cult, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Fields of the Nephilim, The Cure, and The Damned. Bingo! GOTH.

I read through the thread, saw that good points had been made, but that those points were again and again invalidated with mentions of, for example, Cradle of Filth. Aside from that, the OP asked for more goth bands, and I provided some: the true intent of the previous post. (Even if I did go against the "don't say mah bands aren't gothic, dammit!" rule.)
