Ash sat lounging with his group as a girl came up to him. "She still doesn't want to go." She didn't meet his eyes as she spoke and seemed to fidget as she tried to think of a way to get her friend to go. Reaching out his hand he caressed her cheek, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it" his voice was melodic and carried a softness to it that lulled the girl and she smiled drunkenly as she moved to sit in an empty seat.
Ash eyed the groups within the cafateria and was disapointed he could not see the girl. Alex was one of the rare ones, it was strange how he could not manipulate her as easily as these girls. Quite the challenge, he thought as rested his chin on his hand.

Dawn sighed. "Thanks, but I really need to keep an eye on Deidra so she doesn't get into trouble. I swear she was put on this earth to make my life as complicated as her sneaky little butt will go." She slammed her locker shut, put the lock in place, and leaned against it. "Plus, I have an interview at the hospital later on today..."

Deidra smiled and rubbed his neck. "It's sorta like a long fairy tale but its a true story. I'll try to shorten it as much as I can." She fell silent for a moment as she recollected her thoughts. "Many years ago, in a time when the war between witches and dragons was just reaching its peak, a young witch from one of the branches of our family, was wandering in the woods gathering herbs for her medicinal potions. After she had gathered all that she could carry, she realized that she was lost and, soon found the attempts to retrace her steps to be futile in the setting sun and the woods arounds those parts were vast and it got dark pretty quickly. The young maiden sought out a cave for shelter and came across a handsome young man, lying unconsciouson the floor of the cave bleeding from numerous wounds on his body. The maiden's first instinct was to help the young man and set to work, using the herbs she had gathered in the woods. Soon, she was able to stop the bleeding and had managed to bandage his wounds. When the young man woke, he thanked the witch and eventually revealed that he was a prince from the Drake House and had been injured in a battle a few miles from the cave. He had used his reamaining strength to fly here and shift back to human form to hide in the cave to hide from his enemies. The woman understood his situation, because she knew the dragons were mortal enemies of the witches and made a Blood Vow to him that she would keep his identity safe. So she stayed with him until his wounds began to heal themselves and they eneded up falling in love. The weeks passed and the maiden's coven sent out a search party to locate the missing healer, but to no avail. The witch spent many happy weeks with the young man and eventually realized she was pregnant. The prince was elated and made plans to take his mate back with him to his clan to wed her, but the plans were interupted when the coven's search group came across the cave and forcefully took the witch back to the coven while the prince was away hunting. The prince, enraged at the crime, hurried back to his clan and prepared an army to attack the coven. Meanwhile, the coven leaders, enraged by the news of the half-breed growing in the healers womb, subjected her to the worst tortures of the mind and body they could inflict and left her broken body imprisoned in the highest tower in the castle. Soon afterward, the entire coven rose to arms to meet the Drake army that had appeared on the horrizon. The battle took nine days to finish and by that time, the coven had lost over half of its members and the Draken prince was able to free his soulmate. They went back to the Drake family house and were wed the next day much to the family's joy, because they saw the unborn child as a sign of hope for peace between different races. But soon afterward, the the tortures inflicted upon the new princess took their toll as her body was soon found to be fragile and weak. On the day of the birth od the child, the princess called her husband to her side and told him that she would not live to see the next day. The prince, overcome with grief, promised his lady that he would never love another as he had loved her and swore that his child would grow up close to his heart. Later that night, the princess bore the prince a healthy dark haired son and lived long enought o name him, Ronan, and embrace her husband before death took her from this realm." Deidra stopped and looked at Tasuki and sighed.

*An interesting tale, though I had heard of a half-dragon in the Drake family. Interesting. I had no idea that such a thing had happened, but I never was very attentive when listening to history. So, care for a ride?*

Mercenary Paladin *An interesting tale, though I had heard of a half-dragon in the Drake family. Interesting. I had no idea that such a thing had happened, but I never was very attentive when listening to history. So, care for a ride?* Deidra mused over the story and looked up at Tasuki's wings. Yeah, interesting to know I have Shifter blood in my veins... she thought to herself and closed her eyes and mentally hit her head against one of the trees. But flying, eh? Without a word, she leaped up onto Tasuki's shoulder area between the wings. "So, where do you plan to take me?" she raise a brow at Tasuki and smirked.

Deidra wrapped her arms around part of Tasuki's neck and held on tight. "I hope you don't get us in trouble, because there are some witches around this area that are none too fond of dragons of any shape, size, or form." She gasped as her body gave a jolt at their rising.

Deidra looked down over her family estate and her eyes held that dreamy far away look. "Awesome view." she replied back. She grinned and looked at Tasuki.

Aslynn stumbled to the side, but was able to catch her balance that she didn't fall. Turning she eyed the girl as she pushed her glasses back in place, "This is lunch period and you have about 35minutes before the bell that ends lunch followed by 5mins to get to class." She picked up the girls books and handed them to her, "The lunch room is down the hall and to the left, all rooms starting with a one are on the first floor and all rooms starting with a two are on the second floor." With that said Aslynn moved to help Dawn with her mess of books, all the while feel that this day doesn't seem to be getting any better for her.

Orim_Daeth Sage followed her out keeping note of the girl who wanted her to attend Ash's pary, even if he'd only known Alex a short while he was already feeling pretty protective of her. It was just because he hated Ash, he seemed to try to convince himself. Alex stopped at her locker and switched out her spirals, though keeping the spiral for history out. She pulled out a lunch bag as well and turned to Sage, "Need to stop by the cafeteria?" She didn't really want to be anywhere near that place, especially if that girl Nessa and Ash where there. She didn't want to tell Sage that, but hoped he wouldn't want to be in there either.
