the fireball had dissapated as souls control of the jutsu was broken, Icarus i owe you one, takeo thought to himself. he landed on the patch of scorched earth, takeo was still low on chakra so his next move would have to be another direct attack, hopefully two against one would give us an advantage, this is no longer survival training, this is getting dangerous, takeo could not help but wonder if his sensei would have let him burn in that fireball, this excersise was getting out of hand hopefully it would be over soon, he move toward his sensei and team mate icarus would need backup

*His plan had worked; their mid-air spin was cut short as they stabalized, Soul facing the sky and his student's back facing the ground. Because this was really only an excercise, Soul pushed chakra out of his palms and from the soles of his feet, decreasing the momentum and making the landing less "crater causing." Because they impacted, Soul was ensured to be let go by Icarus, he rolling a few feet away and geting back to his feet. Soul slowly patted himself off as if nothing had happened, taunting his team*

takeo stopped about a foot from where icarus and soul had hit the ground, icarus still laid there and takeo reached to help him to his feet but not taking his eyes from soul, takeo smiled in a mix of respect and enjoyment, though the training so far had been dangerous it was still exciting and the most fun takeo had ever had. so soul sensei are we going to continue our survival training, or move on to something a little mor academic. takeo could use the rest to, his chakra was nearly depleted and his stamina was fairly drained. it was a rigourus guantlet soul had put them through.

Icarus was still dizzy from the fall Sould had put him through, but he tried his best to give a smile and, upon hearing Takeo's words, commented.
"Take-san is somewhat right...had this been a real fight, I'd have been killed after our tumble."
Giving a slight scowl, Icarus sat himself against a nearby tree and sighed.
"No matter what Soul-sensei decides, I've been kicked out of this 'survival' training."
Icarus turned his attention to Soul and stuck his tongue out, childishly.
"So, sensei, will their training continue?"

*Soul's facial expression perked up, and then he gave a wide smile*
Well, why didn't either of you say so? We could have skipped most of the bruises you've recieved if you asked earlier.

soul had a funny sense of humor, takeo knew he had enjoyed teaching his genin a thing or two on the battlefield, takeo gave a heavy sigh and sat across from his sensei, i am eager to learn from the best, takeo said smiling at soul sensei

Ok; i want you all to close your eyes and just let go. Just relax, clear your mind, and breathe slowly. In time, you will feel yourself drift so much that you'll release yourself from your body. It's a peace close to death; the only difference is that you can come back...

takeo looked slightly perplexed yet understood, meditation was good for chakra development but takeo had never meditated deep enough to achive the state soul was speaking of, takeo moved into a half lotus and took a deep breath allowing his arms and legs to relax, he cleared his mind of thoughts and emotin and allowed himself to drift
