"Yes, I've heard of a tree house. And I can't, none of hte trees here are strong enough to support such weight. Besides, I'm never cold." She rolled here eyes andlooked at him. "Aki, I'm used to sleeping this way. Sleeping in a bed for me would be like. . .like. . .liek sleeping in a tree for you!" She smiled lightly.

Aki opened his mouth, closed it, then opened it again as if to say something, closed it. "I guess." He let out a breath he had been holding. "But promise me you will stay safe."

rose chuckled lightly and shook her head. "I can't believe you were speachless for a moment there." She closed her eys and leaned back. "But don'tworry, I've made it all these years without hurting myself, and if I do, I can't always heal myself enough to get toe sick bay. I never sleep that far into the forest. Otherwise I'd just sleep in here."

"You'd be surprised what people can survive aki. If he runs to someone, and they help him. Who knows." She sighed. Then suddenly, her head shot up adn she stood rushing out, the blankets laying forgotten. When she retured, she had an old wounded wolf in her arms. And she was soaking wet again.

Aki rushed to help, he looked at the wounded wolf, "That looks bad." He said, investigating. "And now you are soaking wet, but at least the wolf is okay." He set out the blankets so she could put the wold on them, knowing how important wolves were to her.

Rose didn't even notice him, btu she did set the wolf on the blankets. "Ariahi. Oh, you idiot!" She ran her hand overthe wolfs fur, and his more deadly wounds healed. He'd be fine, but hse didn't hav eneough energy to completely heal the wolf who'd been her childhood friend. "Ariahi. . . ." her hair lay in clumps all around her, down to her waist.

"Here." He gently touched the wold and shadow ran over it for an instant. The other wounds healed over. He took his hand away and smiled, "There, that'll help."

She merely nodded, her eyes at half-mast. Then her arm, the one at her side that had been holding her up, went limp, and she passed out. She had used too much energy healing the wolf as it was, she had gone nad passed out again.

He caught her before she fell, laying her down on her blanket which he had left alone. He sat on a rock, watching the wolf, Ryuu chirped, suddenly at his shoulder.

As rose slept, the wolf moved his head to look at her. The wolf smiled ina way only a wolf can, then looked over at Aki and Ryuu. Its mouth had moved back in a snarl, about to growl, before it felt roses hadn reach for him in her sleep. Even in her sleep, she was protecting AKi.

Aki sighed, "I'm not going to hurt you, I swear, if I do you have every right to tear me apart." He said in a whisper, knowing the wolf wouldn't understand but he had to say it anyway. Ryuu climbed onto of his head, making his hair a mess. He gave a nervious squeek.

The wolf shifted almost unvisably, but now the wolf lay in front of Rose, who was still fast in sleep. the wolf looked at Aki, then rose, then bowed his head to Aki. A sign of respect normally reserved for the alpha male.

Aki watched, grabbing Ryuu to stop him from squeeking. He bowed in return, a sign that he hoped the wolf would take as equality. He knew that wolves were very smart creatures and he would not take such a thing lightly. He understood that they should be equal.

The wolfs ears perked up, the wolf, ariahi, was plainly confused that he had bowed back. They wolf was plainly misunderstanding the link between Aki and Rose. The wolf thought Aki was Roses mate, and therefore alpha of this pack, little though the apck may be.
