Izabella stared down at the ground. "Normal... is just a word..." She said. "No one is ever normal to me... nor am i to them..." The sun begain to come up a little farther, painting the sky a bloody red.

Zach lightly touched the tree, smiling as his arm slowly turned to bark. "I doubt you're as... different as I am."

Izabella moved her hand, causeing large chunks of earth to rise up.

Izbella blushed again. The earth fell back to the ground. "Yes, well... other people find it weird and abnormal..."

Zach laughed. "Even if I didn't have my powers, I would still find it wonderful. It's different. That's the problem nowadays; nothing changes! But you and I, we're wonderously, magnificently odd. Much different than others."

Izabella continued staring down, "Ya, but do your folks threated to kick you out of your own house when you sneeze and accidently set the table on fire?" She asked. Even though she knew it must sound funny, her voice was dead serious.

Zach raised an eyebrow. "How about this: When I deluded them all into thinking they were dead, and, later, that everyone they knew was dead were still alive. And, later still, accidentally nearly killing my sister, who's just about the most important thing in my life since she shares the exact same abilities after I lost my temper and touched metal."

"It's hard to explain. I see aura, kinda like a name tag with everything on it. Usually it's just a faint glow moving around somebody-annoying as hell in a crowd-but if I look into their eyes, it becomes focused and I can see things about them, like their name, age, even their hobbies. It's useful and illogical at the same time. Because if I happened to catch a glimpse of a stranger's eyes, then I would know everything about them immediately. To me, that's kind of... disconcerting... and it feels like I'm an intruder." He smiled sheepishly.

Kirin sighed. "Okay..." He slid out of bed, disappearing the second his feet touched the floor. Then he was back, fully clothed, and smiling.
