Too much like masochism for my liking.. Ooooh, take that back. Marmite is a wonder. i agree marmite is great , just as great as this bacon sandwich, crisy bacon and HP sauce! blaugh
...Bacon on the other hand, is horrid. xp

...Bacon on the other hand, is horrid. xp I agree with Invi on the Marmite side of things. Salty axle grease is the best approximation I can come up with. And I'll be agreeing with Longbow on the bacon......yeuch! Revolting stuff.

You know, I do love bacon. But it smells so much better than it tastes. And I have to admit, Britain doesn't do it very well. My cousin came over from South Africa for 18 months and she loved everything else here, preferred it to SA so much, but she never got the hang of the odd bacon.

Beef Wellington, truffles, and humbugs.
But did anyone see the Paddington Bear episode when they were younger when he tried to make Beef Wellington with his welly boots, thinking that was what it meant? it was a humorous tele show when i saw it when i was younger.

Ahhh, beef wellington! Had that yesterday as well. Wow, really british day, that was. Invictus_88 Vanilla Pod And I have to admit, Britain doesn't do it very well. How is it supposed to be done? Better. biggrin No, I don't know, I'm crap at describing food tastes, but I swear that I've had nicer bacon in most other countries I've been in.
