SodapopZ you know, ever since school started back up again I keep getting "ma''am"ed. If this keeps on longer than a month, I''m going to either have a fit or start being really goddamned a**l about it. I can take getting "she"ed but the "ma''am" has GOT to go. Ditto... only I told everyone at my school my nickname (Jakk) and it is growing on me more and more...anyways! Everytime I walk in class my science teacher looks at me and says "Jake? No I mean Jakk...You are the difficult one", she is trying to learn my name... like she said I am the difficult one.... - Jakk (I told you the name grew on me..so much that I respond faster to Jakk than to Ben..or Aubrey)

YAAARRRGGGG!!!
School. Is. Evil. x.x
So is Drill Team, I want so badly to just.... shave my head or something. But I can't if I want to go to the DT competitions, I must have my hair long enough to tie up..... But, it's so much of a hastle.
I swear I envy my friend Eloy right now, he just shaved his head for ROTC, I wanna be able to do that. XP
But, I'm happy that I got all my teachers to call me Bez instead of Elizabeth. HAH! They all gave me extremely odd looks when I told them that, but whatever. XD
But it's been way too bloody hot outside to do drill team and physical fitness, and running the school flag at football games. x.x It's been 100F lately, today it was 102F. I'm sorry I don't know what that is in C, but I'll just say it's really bloody hot, because I have to live in southern Texas. ><
Yay for ranting I feel better now. ^.^
I wish I could get online to talk more, though ;.;

I have to re-learn to hear my name since I went home and got called my legal name for months. Now I have to figure out how to tell the folks that it's going to be changed... sigh.

So does anyone know how much top surgery costs? I'm finding it quite difficult to find on the internet. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. The nearest location I can find that specializes in top surgery is a place in Montreal, Quebec. The only price I could find was approximately $8000 out of the pocket.

The national average cost (in america) is $5,351. It might be cheaper all around for you to fly south for surgery. I hear there's a place in Buenos Aires, Argentina that'll do it for $3,095. I think that even with the plane ticket and lodgings, it might be cheaper to get it done down here.

Leaving Canada would be scary to do all alone to get surgery. I suppose I would be going alone to Montreal anyways. What's $5,350 in Canadian dollars do you know?

I'll do smoe more investigating on prices. I don't know why I'm having such trouble finding such information. I can't even find a proper LGBTQ group in my city.

I've just spent the last few hours reading about surgery and all I can say is, I didn't realize how squeamish I was before.

I just applied to the 'Gaian Gay Straight Alliance' and didn't notice that for your application you're supposed to write your response to someone on the street who says some anti-gay comment, so I wrote some little ramble about myself. >.<;;; ...Oops?
Also, there's a 'Gaian Gay Straight Alliance' and a 'Gaian Gay-Straight Alliance'. What's going on?

stare Bumbled across this in one of the GGSAs...I think the one with the hyphen, but I don't know for sure. Poster In my opinion there's no such thing as a transexual, only people who get their bodies carved up and take hormones. If you have two X chromosomes you're a woman. If you have an XY combination you're a guy. That's how it works, regardless of what you get chopped off or stitched on.=P Thoughts, opinions? Responses? Should I make this into its own thread? ETA: Angry PMs are lame and are not encouraged by the presenter of this post. In fact, I'm removing the name of said poster. If you're interested in it, then PM me. rolleyes

The X and Y chromosomes do decide sex, but there is something else that decides gender. Let me go see if I can find it again.

The problem with this argument is that it assumes that one will act within the gender roles that a said society has. HA HA HA. Gender roles are so varied from locale to locale, that it's laughable.
