Azarath_Metrion Well, technically, he was still cursed, so he probably just walked until he was on land, or something. Or he was stuck down there and when the curse was finally lifted he immediately drowned. Ah, what a sick twist of fate. i think if he walked for ten years he would eventually find shore and not die. i am actually writing a fan fiction where he lives and it tell the whole story of how he was thrown over board and how he reached land. if you want to read it go to Pirates fanfiction

OMFGODZ!!!!
I read in a magazine today some juicy info on PotC 2!
Hehehe... listen to this: Jack gets stranded on this island with cannibals and he becomes their leader but then they all turn on him and try to eat him!
I cannot wait! I just know it's gonna be totally hilarious!

sprightly Absolutely loved it! Johnny was hillarious and did such a great job playing Captain Jack. I hope the next two will be as good or better than the first. yeah i agree with u i wish that i was over 18 but i am only 13

The second movie I ever saw Johnny Depp in, and was the one that got me interested in him, since the first one I saw I was still too little to even care about actors and such. Plus, the one in which Johnny did such a good job, it inspired ME to one day become an actress. So, yes, I LOOOOOVE this movie! smile

johnny was just too good in this movie. i can't wait to see some of the new stuff for the next pirates movie!

This movie was awesome. -huggles dvd- anyways i loved the way the story flowed. I love how disney protrayed their own action adventure ride into a movie and story line... Johnny Depp played one good character of Jack Sparrow.
I personally loved the twists and pulls that happened to be in the movie. for example, rescuing elizabeth only to turn around and have her help him escape like he did. The part at the end was awesome when they were fighting the cursed pirates and he wasn't dying only in the end to have the cursed pirates to die... also being able to walk away from being hung was awesome as well.

has anyone seen the teaser trailer for POTC2? it is really out there already, and its really only a teaser. the screne is black, you hear a sword fight and then you hear Johnny say (i'm captain jack sparrow) and then it flashes july 2006. thats about all you get but hey its out there! thats a good sign!

I have a peculiar feeling in the pit of my stomach, halfway between roller-coaster nerves and a severe hangover. And it has something to do with Jack Sparrow. I'm not sure where the connection is, but it'll come to me eventually.
In the mean time: PoTC ROX!!! I've always been into pirates and such, but that really clinched it.

angel_of_joy he's only 54? he looks so much old! i mean my mom is 51 this month! Yeah. That's my thoughts exactly. My dad is the same age as him and he looks a hell of a lot younger. Poor Geoffery Rush. sad
