Seth frowns lightly after the gentle kiss he got from Lina, he enjoyed it but her statement caught him off guard. Seth wasn't about to leave her alone, not after what she said, it wouldn't be right to leave her to suffer alone. Seth walked into the room and glanced around, he didn't understand what was about to happen, why would she be in someones room? He remembered what Yinar had said and looked around with a frown on his face.

Seth approaches the door to Lina's room. He had entered into the larger room leading out into the hall, but hesitated in entering into the room Lina was in. He gripped the knob, but didn't turn it, he didn't want to give out the wrong impression. He knew he cared for her, and many seemed to think she felt the same, but it wasn't in his place to act on such. He would be punished for stepping between Lina and the vampire, and he would accept his punishment, but he wouldn't regret doing what he did. Seth let his hand slip from the door as he made his way to a chair near the door.

Seth feels another's presence, but it isn't threatening. He can feel it isn't intended to be hurtful towards the princess, so he didn't bother making a move. He would simply keep an eye on the room, making sure nothing unwanted happened. He wanted to help Lina, but he feared it would only bring her more pain. She needed comforting and he couldn't give it.

Seth closed his eyes at the mans words and leaned back in the chair. He wasn't about to leave, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself if something happened to her. "You don't understand. . . I doubt you will." Seth said quietly, his voice firm, but not threatening.

Seth opened his eyes as Werlis spoke, narrowing slowly as he continued. He wouldn't be allowed to see Lina again? All because she had feelings for him? He may be afraid of what might happen if he were to get too close to the princess, but that wasn't grounds enough for him to be forbidden her beautiful sight. Seth stood up at this, his eyes squaring off with this new man. He was shorter than Werlis, but he wasn't intimidated by his size. "I am sorry. . . I am new here and don't understand your customs. But. . . No matter the danger, I will not allow you to deny me her safety. Even if it is punishment for stopping that vampire." Seth said, showing he wasn't about to back down.

Seth can feel his anger flaring, but not out of hatred for Werlis does he feel this. It is his love for Lina that allows him to stand up to such a powerful man without so much as a single flicker of fear. "Not if I have anything to say in the matter. You may not wish to lose your position, but my life means nothing if it can be forfeit to protect her from harm." Seth pauses at this and forces back his anger, he won't take it out on Werlis. "If you know about me, then you will let me take your place when you can't be at her side." Seth said, his voice was calmer than what it had been before. He had yelled in his anger, and he would accept punishments for speaking so harshly at a higher ranked man.

Seth doesn't back down, but what Werlis said hit him like no other mortal blow could. He knew he was dangerous, he knew it more than the Berserker seemed to think, but he couldn't deny his desire to be with Lina. If he was to succumb to the sadness of being apart from her, he would be more dangerous than if he were to be at her side. He frowns though, a light furrowing of his brow at Werlis. He sees the strangeness behind the Berserker's eyes, but doesn't let his wonder show behind his eyes. "You know I am dangerous, yet you don't understand why I keep my distance from her? I am not asking you to let me stay with her. I am telling you I will not hesitate to fight all who you send at me." Seth said. His mind is still passing over what Werlis had said to him, calling him a 'dangerous thing', something he was all too familiar with hearing before he came here. He was used to being called that, a 'thing', as if he didn't deserve the title of person. But he didn't care, he would show that he was more than just a useless object that needed to be discarded as swiftly as possible.

Seth narrowed his eyes darkly now, his anger once again flaring up at the mention of her feelings. He can't permit that. He cares too much for her to ask she become void of feelings to once again become a puppet for her father. He clenches his fist, a heat rising up within his body, but he keeps it covered for now. He won't allow himself to lose control again, but he won't keep the man from knowing how he feels. "You say you are here to protect her. To save her from harm, yet your actions now speak otherwise. I refuse to leave, to let her father use her like he tries. And I refuse to let you allow such an atrocity to continue. No words will make me move, and unless you have the wish to fight me, I have nothing more to say to you." Seth said, his eyes glowing with a strange fire behind them once more. Power flows with every syllable he speaks, but the effects of such are only to magnify the determination behind his words.
