As the Team was awakening, Espeon rapidly sensed the wind around her. Not a single other Pokemon was around... Not even a Weedle...
Moewth took his time to wake up and went to fetch Breakfast only when Blastoise threteaned to eat HIM...

"You alright Riolu?" Jolteon asked.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me..." He said, his voice trailing off into the distance.
"That doesn't sound fine to me..." Jolteon replied, in a child-like voice.
"I'm just a little hungry, that's all..." Riolu responded. Riolu had a lot on his mind, he was actually kind of jealous that Eevee had evolved and he didn't know why he was jealous. He hoped that it would pass soon, before he got even more bitter with him.

Moewth managed to get back with some fruits. It wasn't much for all those Pokemons but he said: "As Espeon said, no Pokemons are around. Not even a Pidget or a Goldeen... "
After their meager breakfast, Espeon explained the plan: " We will enter by the main entrance and destoy all that we see. After a short time, we will separate to look for the jailed Pokemons. Be quiet as you do that, and the guards won't see you. Remember, they'll be at the entrance..."

"But the question is what they have in store for us when we get there..." Riolu stated aloud. "If they had shadow pokemon here with their lackies, then they'll have stronger ones at their base, it's just common sense."

"That is why," said Espeon, "we will go in teams of two or three. The Dark Pokemons must be alone so they do not fight all the time. With two to one, even non-Darks can do it!"
"But you must remember," said Moewth, "that they won't have any pity! They'll tear you apart if they have the chance. We must first free the jailed Pokemons. Then Espeon will go back and use this to purify the other Pokemons."
Espeon focused and a little flute appeared. "It can call Celebi, the time-travelling Pokemon. He agreed to help us once."
"So, any more questions?"

"Yeah, who goes with who?" Riolu asked again. Jolteon was a little jumpy, mostly out of nervousness but also excitement.
"Well, I can partner up with Riolu!" Jolteon said happily.

"Please team up with the Team members you feel the most comfortable with..." said Espeon. "It's imprtant that you can rely on each other. Moewth and I will go together, as we know each other perfectly."
In the end, Riolu teamed up with Jolteon, Marill with Pikachu, Blastoise with Cindaquil and finally, Cubone with ...
"Nobody?" cried Cubone.
"You do not want to team up with Cindaquil, it's your fault. Blastoise is tough enough to go alone..." answered Moewth...

"Well, maybe he could come with us?" Jolteon suggested, "since we can counter most of his weaknesses with our types and natural speed advantages." Jolteon was proud that he could feel equal to Riolu now, but he had to remember that Riolu was still much more focused and experienced than he was.

"Well, yes, you may do that." said Espeon. "Now, is everyone ready? We will need to be fast, and to be strong."
Everyone nodded or grunted in agreement.
"Then... Let the exploration begin!" said Meowth. And they delved into the Team's Hideout.

"Right, let's go!" Riolu said as they dashed into the woods even further. Cubone was riding on Jolteon's back so he would be able to keep up with them as they quickly made their way through the forest.
"We should be getting close, so be prepared for an attack if it comes up," Riolu ordered, already taking the role of the leader of their group.

"Here we go... again" said Meowth. They waited until everyoen went in the base and then got in. Lucky they did, because some Team members already were there. After the battle, the Dark Pokemons they freed seemed lost, so they guided them a room where they locked them in. "We'll do that for others too; celebi will purify all of the base..."

"Wow, they have alot of Pokemon here..." Jolteon marveled as he opened some cages.
"Just be careful, they can attack you without thinking," Riolu warned. Riolu pryed open a cage, immediately setting off an alarm that made him and probably everyone else jump.
"Great..." Riolu sighed as they all heard footsteps running towards them.
"Someone is in there, everyone prepare to attack!" A Grunt yelled to his fellow grunts.

After the alarm was set off, the Grunts werz all over the place. The positive side was that Dark Pokemons were easily set free, but the bad one was that Espeon and Eevee began to feel their strenght failing fast!!! They ran in the middle of a battle and crossed Blastoise's and Cyndaquil's path. The two were exhausted too, so they ddecided to go together for a while. "I know there is a machien in this complex where we can be healed very quickly. We must find the others, and then go there!!!!!" said Meowth.

"I'll clear the way!" Jolteon yelled as he did a Spark attack to burst his way through some of the grunts and their Pokemon.
"There is just too many of them to handle them all, and these are just the lackies," Riolu replied while still fending off Pokemon, "They probably have higher ranked soldiers waiting for the grunts to weaken us." A Pokeball flew threw the air over them, landing in front of the group and opened. From the Pokeball came a Shadow Steelix, towering above everyone in the room.
"Oh great..." Jolteon commented, "I think you were right." A man with a different designed uniform came walking in from another door behind them.

The four Pokemons were deep in the hideout now, and didn't see any trace of their companions Cubone, Jolteon and Riolu... They decided to go back and sighted a high-ranked officer. They followed him, as he was rushing somewhere. After a short pursuit, he entered a room and unleashed a Shadow Steelix! But as the Team was rushing to battle it, the officer proved that he was not high-ranked for nothing. He let loose another Pokemon, a Shadow Snorlax, to keep Meowth, Blastoise, Espeon and Cindaquil occupied!
