Prince William is her sister ship but she's in dry dock right now. It's the one they're trying to sell, but many think they won't be able to sell her. I'm hoping that they may get a lot more interest and end up bringing her back.
I'll be on Stavvy in the Caribbean!

Take a look at the people on the yards. I've done that! (And will continue to do so) It's scary the first time you do it, but otherwise it's so exhilirating and above all, amazing.
See the top of the masts? Yep, touched the top before as well. I just love it! *Beams.*

I've added it to my financial plan. Probably won't be until later this year, if it's this year at all... there have been a lot of unexpected nonsense happening. But hey--there's always room for miracles! smile
I will make it eventually.

Almost everything is sorted out for the voyage now. Booking confirmations and flights are confirmed (just need to get the tickets). The insurance is being sorted out and following that, a means of getting to the airport on time without having to fork out a lot of cash for hotels or taxis, or having to spend an entire night in the airport terminal.

MIGHTY STAVROS! Stavros S Niarchos.

I think the first one is Stavros as well. Actually, both Prince William and Stavros S Niarchos are identical ships. They're basically identical twins. For some reason Stavvy is the favourite of the two, and she's the older of the two by a year or two. I think it was the year 2000 or 2002 that they converted the hulls to what they are now. They had two different ships before, Malcolm Miller and Sir Winston Churchill (I prefer Prince William and Stavros S Niarchos for ship names to be honest). Those two are now used by different companies.

A month and a half roughly....dammit! I want to go see HMS Victory again asap too, and I want to go back to Prague again and see other places in Europe. Blast! So much money required and I have to pay my friend back for paying for the flights to and from Barbados for me. crying
If anyone can get to Barbados either on the 6th or 15th/16th to see Stavros S Niarchos, do go! If anyone wanted to meet me, then it'd have to be around then but I wouldn't have much time at all. Please let me know if you are going to go and see her, and I'd try to get a few minutes in the evening of the 6th or 15th if possible (that'd be when we'd get shore leave you see).
