Splim Magnolia Simms Dag, yo, I haven't posted here in awhile. I feel so dirty and ashamed. ;C I STILL <3 YOU HARIHARI. DON'T BE MAD PLZ. Man, there's been, like, 3+ times this past month where I'll just pop my 'Concert For George' DVD in to see just one song, and end-up watching the whole damn thing. Gawd, it's sooooo fecking goooooood. Every single performer is at the absolute peak of their abilities, and every song is done with so much love. If I had to list specific favorites, I would end-up listing the whole songlist, eventually. I <3 YOU GEORGE. THIIIIIIIIIIIIIS MUCH. --> [___________________________] I <3 YOU, GEORGE. Just as much as ^ her. ... (or MAYBE more. Shhh...) o_O PFFT.I bought the '33&1/3' CD today, which makes me soooooo happy. I had it on vinyl, but alas, I was without record player so I couldn't actually listen to it. I'm in loooooove with 'Crackerbox Palace' and 'This Song', and pretty much every song on that thing. <3

Wah! I want Double Fantasy on vinyl. crying That's like the Holy Grail for me.
I bet I'd have to end up payin' my mortal soul.
Unless Bob at Musik Hut has it, in which case my dad could get it for cheap. 3nodding I bet Bob has a bunch of George records, too. I'll have to make a note to go.

Judging from the titals alone, plus the fact that it was his last album, I wouldn't be surprised if "Double Fantasy" turned out to be my favorite John Lennon album too. 3nodding When I start collecting solo Beatle albums, John's going to come first.
And I love George lots still. heart

Ooh. biggrin
I've been thinking about getting the Concert for Bangladesh dvd lately. (I'm surprised I haven't, actually.) Every time I see it I pick it up and say something like 'Oh...I want this. I need this. *uuuuungh!!* Georgie 'n' frei-ends! Need-to-buy...Oh, hey The Hives!!' and then I put it back and get...uhm, The Hives dvd instead. stare rolleyes I don't know. I just haven't had my George fix in a while. I'm getting a little backed up. Well, I had some relief today. My mom and I were grinning over his choice of wardrobe all through the Anthology--for instance: did you know that he used to wear a LOT of orange back in the later Beatle years?? 3nodding heart
