Nailah watched as Dobbs fell to the floor. She couldn't help but feel happy that he had had teh s**t scared out of him. Dobbs was not a nice guy. She nodded and said "Yes come help me clean adn tell me of all that has happened since I last saw you Cymarron. Leave him to clean himself up."
Dobbs glared at the half-cat but swallowed in fear. How much of what he had threatened was true. The size of his claws made him believe that he could and would destroy the village. He was kind of surprised he cared. But he had lived here all his life. And he had his family here. "Fine. Fine. Just know that I mean to get me money. No matter what." And I don't intend to let her go without a fight. He picked himself up off the floor and brushed off his clothes. Then he called out "Ye better get all yer work done in time missy. We open at seven."
"Who in the hell drinks that early in the morning?" she asked incredulously. Damn. Didn't look like she was going to get any sleep. She shook her head and walked into the kitchen and began to wash up the rest of the dishes.

Nelphean exited the craft, and stepped into the village square...."If I was a depressed Nailah who wished to escape the hardships of reality, I would go to a tavern." He looked about the streets, and noted the broken door. "I wonder, would that be an inn." Nelphean walekd casually to the broken door. He walked in, and stood still, seeing the large cat.
"Servent, do get me a nice glass of wine, I do so feel greatly thisted by my travels. It was very nice to find this open inn." Nelphean grined, disguised as a nobleman, where clothes similar to the local style, but much cleaner and more expensive looking. "I say, are you not here to serve Wealthy customers?"
The cocky elf sat in a chair, and whistled loudly. A tall dark haired woman walked into the room caring a bundeld up child. "I need a room for my daughter and my... kin." He said casually.

Cymarron purred lightly at Nailah, and moved with her into the kitchen. watching for a moment.
"Merre is tired. rest some, Cymarron will do dishes."
He started washing, using his tail as an extra limb to wash with. as she wanted to know what was going on, he spoke while he worked, occassionaly glancing over at her.
"Ecara is learning faster. the two elves are avoiding eachother mostly. we told you about Tyler...Bastet is off doing something we think. Eclipse is trying to teach us better to be our own master...oh we locked a salamander in the freezer. we don't know if the fire lizard is alive or not. Spirits still talk to us..Oh, did we mention we already Hunted here before?"
the last was said loud enough for Dobb's to hear, just becuase he wanted to keep that one under his thumb.
"WE also came to get the cords to fix your piano. We haven't gotten around to that yet. when we fix that, you can return our daggers. they are your to keep to make sure Cymarron remembers his promise."
However when addressed, he ignored it. after all, he didn't work here. and went about cleaning the dishes and glasses.

Nelphean wore a very fake skocked expression. "I do say, this runt has ignored my order." Nelphean stood and walked into the kitchen, "Did I not order wine from you, swine?" He said, almost unable to hold back his laughter at the sight of Cymarron washing dishes....
"Is this the type of pleasurable experience this inn hopes to offer, then I shall take my tyler and GO!" The elf spun on his human heels, and walked from the kitchen. And ranted very loud about the poor service.
"I will have justice!" Nelphean shouted, rather loudly.

That got his attention, and he glanced out at the ranting human...if that was who it might be, he was never going to hear the end of this, he was sure.
"Cymarron apologizes..he doesn't hear so well."
He moved out to the bar, looking for something that might be wine. not that he knew wine from whiskey in bottles. he took his best guess, and grabbed a bottle with the fancy looking markings on it, and a glass, and poured it out.
"Cymarron hopes this is what the human wants?"

Nailah gratefully relinquished her towel. She sat down in a chair and listened to Cymarron. There was a lot she had to think about. A lot she needed to consider. "I'll make sure you get your daggers back. You really don't have to fix the piano." She stopped. "Thank you though."
Dobbs saw the man and girl and said "Merre?" He waited a few seconds and when she didn't appear bellowed "Merre! Git your lazy a** in here. We got us some customers."
Niah sighed. "Who in the hell is here now?" She hurried out of the kitchen and walked in. "What?!"
Dobbs looked at her. "Don't you take that tone with me missy. Help these nice people to a room. And then see if they want something to eat or drink. And then finish the rest of your duties. I'm going back to bed."
Niah muttered for a few minutes about ******** a*****e Dobbs...can't do anything yourself." She cursed under her breath and then looked at those that had recently walked in. Cursing under her breath she curtsied and dropped her eyes. "If you'll just follow me good sir and ma'am, I'll show you to your rooms." She turned around and rolled her eyes. This was going to be a long night.

Forgive me Bastet...
Nelphean placed one hand on Nailah's shoulder, and then slowly said "You eyes have an ancient glimer of beauty, unlike any I have seen in my day abroad. How doth those eyes create a sweet Bastet of you!" Nelphean almost felt like tosing aside the code, it was really... Making this difficult.
"My Aurora's arms are tired, could you carry my son for me?"
He retracted his hand, hoping that Nailah would recieve all the encoded messages.
Sorry Cym, business first... you washed the dishes...

Nailah stared at the man for a moment. Aurora? Bastet? What the hell. She looked at him for a moment and then said "Sir please follow me." She shook her head at Cymarron and sighed. This night was getting longer and longer. She looked at the woman and said "Please follow me." Niah was so tired and she just wanted to kick everyone out. She wanted to go to bed but couldn't because too many people liked to pop up in here. She shook her head and slapped the man's hand away. "Sir that is not my job and I would appreciate it if you would not touch me!" She was so tired of being treated like a whore. It was the absolute worst thing in the world. She turned and headed for the stairs.

Nelphean pointed at the glass, and the bottle, and both came to his awaiting hands. She is making this very hard... what does she want... Nelphean followed Nailah... No.
"To the room, I see we shall preceed..." Nelphean walked up beside Nailah, "Does it not feel horrible to have every eye leering upon your open frame, to have each man tease and think of you in ways you wish never to be thought by them." Nelphean liked this direction. "I can give you a place where you will live free from these stares, but never have to see anyone else again. My estate is empty and needs a pair of beautiful hands to care for it, you seem to have the figure to take care of any need that might arise..." Nelphean wondered about that last sentance.
"I never wished to force my lips upon you skin, and would like an oppertunity to show you that you are more than a beautiful body, but are worthy of greater things... Don't make me take a child home with me, who has lost his heart. For he should become a wandering lover, who's heart is found in every room in every set of eyes... To become a fiend of the land, who's only woe to the world is his ability to sway women. Imagine, a Tyler who could charm any girl he wished, always seeking for the next challenge, never to find happiness."
Nelphean reconsidered his mode, he was place a large amout of preasure on Nailah. "If you would let me be your friend, I can help give you what you want. You can have the freedom of the world, but not the sins of this tavern. To allow me not to help you shall force me to, for I will buy your freedom, one way or another."
Aurora cared the sleeping child close to her, feeling the rythmic breathing, no wonder why Nelphean loved women so much, a child is a wonderful thing.

Nailah stared at him again. His words made her think of her own home. She peered closely at him and hten thought about teh other things he had said. Suddenly it all made sense. She looked straight into his eyes and finally realized who he was.Nelphean. "I'm sorry sire there are no rooms available here. You'll have to go to another inn. Currently the kitchen is closed as well." She shook her head but her heart told her it was Tyler in those blankets. She refused to give in though. Seeing him would only make the pain of leaving him that much harder to bear. She curtsied to the 'man' again and said "I trust you can find your own way out?" Then she walked back to the kitchen. "Cymarron...did you tell anyone you were coming here?"

He just snorted lightly. and looked around. dishes needed done, so that's what he went to do. he was far faster than a human, having in essence three 'hands' to put to work at the same time. He worked hard and diligently, but his mind wandered. He wondered if any others worked here, and if there were those that practiced the oldest proffesion here, why hadn't he seen one? or was Dobbs implying that she was supposed to do that, but he was not forcing her lest someone stepped in on her behalf. like him. It didn't take him too long to finish the dishes, so he went about with a rag to wipe down tables and counters. every now and again, he looked like he was rubbing hard at a spot or stain, but also scratching a small symbol on the surface. he would mark this place, and through the spiritual eyes here, keep track of Dobbs. He of course coudln't stay overly long, he had to get back to make sure the den mother was alright. but the first sign of trouble, Dobbs was going to feel his wrath.

Nelphean shook his head. And reverted to his normal elf shape. "So why did you toss the kid aside? Its not exactly like you left any instructions for us, all we had was a child running around frantically looking for his Nailah, and I guess I could be an uncaring brute, and let him suffer. He wont eat, he wont drink, he wont talk to us. He hides in an empty bed, waiting for the person he trusts most to come back... Nelphean told me you left, and since my father sacked the other towns, that left one place to go. Here we are."
"Our actions are twists in the road with more consequences than we can ever begin to understand. You wish to throw down your life at the manor, and run into the owrld where you can hide under a mask of your choosing, foolishly preying and wishing that none of your friend would come looking for you. Did you really think that no one would try to come get you? And then I decide, what the hell, I should at least honour the wishes of a child. FInd that what he wants, and offer them santuary away from the manor. Yes, I have a hourse. Its actually down the road from here. It's the big one, with the giant statue of me on the inside of the gate. I was going to give you it, and everything in it, to help you on your way. But no, you don't even want our help. We can't posible know the pain that you suffer, we can't know how difficult it is to look in the mirror after such a horrible fate."
"After a hundred years of watching everyone I love die, you really expected me to toss a friend into the chaos that is this earth. How long have you lived in the manor. I have seen this earth, and I have seen what the humans make of it. It is worse than my home."
Nelphan stopped talking, and disappeared. "Its there if you want it." He tossed down a bag, "You may want that." His voice faded.
Aurora clung to the child, and made sure he was still sleeping. "So, what of the child?"

Niah had stood at the kitchen door and heard everything. She swallowed and whispered "I did leave instructions...did no one get my note?" She watched Cymarron and sighed. She was so tired. Slowly seh picked up the bag and shook her head. "Cymarron go back to the manor. I'm fine. I can handle myself." She began walking towards the stairs and swayed a bit. She knew she needed sleep and soon before she collapsed. "Tell them to look in Bastet's room. There's a....note. And please take care of Tyler. He does like you Cymarron. You're his Cynnamon. Go find the note and leave me be. I just need some time to...think." She slowly headed up the stairs to the room Dobbs had told her to use. It was pitifully small but it was all she had. She couldn't take Nel's house. She lay down on the small pallet and fell asleep almost instantly. Dobbs was going to kill her but she would worry about that tomorrow.

Cymarron nodded lightly at her. he wasn't going to drag her back. at least he'd made sure that she woudl be well taken care of, having probably scared her debtor half to death, and making sure he had 'eyes' here. he watched Nailah go to her little room. and got some paper, and drew pictures. one was dobbs treating nailah badly then an equal sign, and Cymarron ripping dobbs apart with the village on fire. he couldn't write, but he hoped that got the message across. he moved up to where he heard Dobbs' snoring, and slipped the picture under the door before picking up his bedsheet cloak and leaving to get piano wire. that was easy, one look at him and the owner gave it up for free...apparently thinking he was going to be eaten otherwise.
Then back to the Manor. the trip was swift, and he went to the kitchen, tracing his claws on the table, and drinking his usual eggnog...before going to the piano and after several mistakes and attempts, got the strings all where they were supposed to be. which gave him another reason to go back to check on her.
He sat at the piano, and extended his claws, and after digging aroudn in the plethora of memories he had, began to softly play 'moonlight sonata'.

She smiled back at him, little fangs showing with the action. Then a nod to confirm his idea. Ecara tilted her head in oddly keen Aurahkah like fashion at Nelphean. "What's wrong?" Her tail swished idly. "Your eyes....look....sad.." Perhaps I remember you because I turn to you only to place blame and hate. Perhaps that's why you're so patient. And there is no resemblance to my father other than mere looks perhaps. I would never treat Ecara like my father treated me and you would do well to keep to yourself. Sure, its me making you do all this, but it wont be forever. I know how you work, just as I know myself. You've conquered me once, and I can't allow that again. Perhaps there are not enough chains on the door I've closed you behind. Aura snapped from her mentally yelling at essentially herself at the cold poke of a nose on her hand. "I...I'm okay...I just, freaked myself out is all..."
