He looked at the blade, and at Aura, tilting his head lightly.
"The Den mother is upset. Cymarron can help, he is sure. Even take a beating if the den mother is angry enough to use this."
His claw tapped the trembling blade on his shoulder. his voice was calm, quiet, and had a slight roll to it like he was underscoring it with a somewhat soothing purr sound.
"Cymarron can go fetch Nailah. she was foolish to leave over your words, especially with a young kit here. She needs to better mind her duties as a mother to a young one."

That was certainly an interesting sight, Saradin could see Aurah holding her sword up to Cymarron in a menacing fashion, but from here couldnt see the feelings or color in her eyes. That was his sword in her hands, held against the tiger. Now it would be he who intruded on her privacy as he walked up, his expression calm but serious. "Aurahkah, a sword wont protect you from friends." The heaven forged version of the one she held clanged against his side, reminder that hers used to be his. His right hand moved up to the edge of the blade as he came alongside them both. It wrapped somewhat tightly around the blade, and brought it down slowly, with a little force if need be. The shallow cuts it left in his hand bled well and the crimson washed down the blade towards the tip, bringing out a couple of blue sparks along with it. "Cymarron, dont make her decide what to do with Nailah, they both need time to think."

She looked from Cymarron to Saradin, to the blood that was now on her blade. Flash back, Saradin's blood on the floor. On the hilt of the broken blade. The color melted back to brown in her eyes, as the clang of Saradin's own Soulforge gained her attention, then the sparks from her own made the tear filled orbs flare blue again as she looked back up to them both. "She never would of left if I had not pushed her to do so! I hit her where I knew it would hurt her most out of petty revenge! Am I just to accept another's death on my shoulders?! And how dare you so easily expect to go and bring her back! What makes you think, she wants to come back, that can come back!" She stepped back, rising the shaking blade again, seemingly trying to use it more as a wall between them and her. "I don't need to think Saradin! I know what the problem is! It's me!"

Again he walked right past the weapon without hesitation. This time putting his slightly bloody hand on hers around the hilt of the weapon. Sympathetic and faintly smiling again, he looked only into her eyes and ignored the danger of a sword's blade. "And thats the same petty revenge that drove her away. Youre just trying to get even with yourself. Even though I left, here I am right? I've changed a bit, to be seen so strangely by you all, maybe only because of what I dont remember. But I did come back. Nailah will too. Whether you want to accept it or not, you lost something as important as what Nailah blames you for."

"You don't understand Saradin because you can't remember. You always came back, always. When you left, we just expected you to come back, and you did. Even death doesn't keep you from this place." Aura drew a breath, the sword along with Saradin's and her own hand lowering slightly. "But Nailah is not you. And there's nothing holding her here anymore." The blade lowered more. "I'm just...so tired...of watching these things happen. Every time I think I get things right, they go wrong." She bit her lip again, trying to concentrate on the taste of her own blood and dropped her eyes from Saradin's gaze.

"The only thing I see wrong is that youre torturing yourself. You two had trouble, you fought, it happens. She made the choice to leave, but youre wrong about her not having anything to keep her here. There are so plenty of people who are already willing to volunteer to chase her down and drag her back, all people who care, and she wont be able to ignore them all. Besides-" Saradin's hand slipped off of her Soulforge's hilt and he turned to one side, looking at the manor in the fullest view he could. "Its home."

The sound of several buzzes surronded the elf, and he slowed down his speed, seeing the danger that was before him. They were three in number, and three light swords they did have, all red as blood. Nelphean slowed down, and saw the blades come towards him, he knew jsut how dangerous those blades were.
Rakka extended her blade, and the fight began. The swords clashed, creating an odd buzz every time that the blades crossed, Nelphean quickly found himself fighting for his life, as each of these assalients are as equalley skilled as he with the blades. Nelphean's sword hand twirled through the air, the singe of the light on the particles echoed and buzzed, and was multiplied each time his enemy came at him. Slowly the four warriors worked into a rutine, until Nelphean unleshed a bolt of lighting from his offhand. The bolt struck the three men, and droped two of them. Alone, the assalient tried his best to keep up with the no longer down-troden elf. The yellow blade danced about the air, and unleased a great furry into the man.
Nelphean looked at the three dead, and wondered who they were. He inspected a corpse to see a human face, but the skin seemed to have become very old... lifeless even. Nelphean cursed under his breath, thinking that the forest he was in must be full of these strange warriors... But where did they come from... He scaned the area, and didn't feel any more danger at the current time, but the sounds of people screaming came from behind him. Nelphean scaned the area, and discoved a small farm house. He felt that they were about to meet a grusome fate...
Nelphean rushed to the farm, an reached a normal every day field... He narrowed his eyes, why did things always have to be more complicated than they had to be.

"You Humans are so strange. not like Vah. Cymarron will get her, and bring her back. she has duties here. if she does not want to administer to her new kit, then her kit either needs to be accepted by another, or gotten rid of. Not to mention the false elf is probably out to try and rip her apart from making 'Rakka' cry."
He crossed his arms and snorted lightly.
"You act like all wrongs are on your shoulders, Aurahkah. they are not. Your mate leaving, and his brother or friend...That was thier choice. You struck a nerve last night yes, but that was not worth leaving over, and leaving a kit behind. any Vah that would dare to do such would have been killed before she could get twenty feet from the pridelands."

"It doesn't matter how many people go down there to drag her back. If she doesn't want to come back...she won't. It's her choice...I just hope that she thinks as you do." Soulforge's tip found its own home in the dirt. Tears, anger, back to tears. Damned pattern. Aura bit her lip again, closing her eyes, letting a few of those silent tears get out before she wiped viciously at her eyes. Those eyes, now one brown and one blue as she was stuck between her insanity and guilt, looked to Cymarron. "How can you say it's not my fault, when logic can prove it is? Yes, they made their own choices, but I instigated those choices..." Her eyes fell back to the grass. "I'm tired of hurting poeple..."

Staning above the slain beast, Nelphean flet another disturbance not too far off... He made a sour look, and ran off after it... "The world sets it s will against me, nothing I can do can ever change that... Why am I savign all these people... No I am not just taking out my angre from Rakka's tears... She is Aurahkah... not Rakka!" The elf's sword found another preditor, falling the beast in a single blow...
"If I keep this up, by the time I get to Nailah, I'll probably kill everything in sight..." Nelphean felt another pulse in the force, his heart beat insanely fast, this one drew his mind back to the manor... Aurahkah's heart was...
"Can't I do anything that will make this world happy!" Nelphean screamed, and ran back towards the manor.
He reached the front gates, stopped, and sat down. he breathed deeply, slightly exaughsted from all his... heroism... Nelphean frowned, life was some much simpler when I was being tortured... He almost killed himself for thinking that...
"What does she want..." He asked the manor, as though expecting the building to tell him what to do. He felt the rain fall onto his old bones...

"Cymarron. Were not Vah. Thats all that needs be said. Nailah wont be hurt by you or anyone else. Is that understood?" His back was turned to Cymarron as he spoke commandingly, the large creature's perspective grating on Saradin's own views. "Now, Aurahkah," and back to sympathy but still a hint of control, "logic be damned. Thats what I feel. Just let go of it until you know that theres a problem. You said yourself that living here involved fighting the odd evils that rose up, this time youre fighting your own. And the only way to not let it win is to accept whats happened, and try to compensate." The way she bit her lip to drown out misery with pain was honestly frightening and pitiful, and he couldnt stand to watch it as he shut his eyes.

Nelphean opened the door, and walked through, not sure how long he had been away, nor found of failing to do what he set out to do... Too many side quests...
Nelphean walked towardsthe kitchen, and sat at the table, and noted how his bowl was still partially full with still frozen Ice-cream. He sat down, and finished the bowl with a single swip of his hand. He looked about the room, and noted the gernal confusion and focus was still on Aurahkah outside... He pondered going to see, but she did say she wanted to be alone. Nelphean sat for a minute, and thought to himself...

"Every time I try to fight, I lose. Because inside behind this facade I put up, I slowly drown in myself. The Aurahkah inside is scared to death of this place, these people, this world, herself, everything." She licked at her lip, erasing the faint tint of crimson there. "She's scared to accept and compensate." Everything was breaking. Every defense and wall she had erected. Too much pressure on the walls was bringing them down. "She stands on crumbling ground and doesn't care to move to save herself or anyone around her."They called it the cold hard truth for a reason.

Nelphean felt her distress, felt her tears, felt his own longing... He looked across the room, and was shocked to see that the lights were a strange warm colour... "Durandal?" he said absently...
He stood up, and walkedto the door, where everyone had gathered to be around Rakka... Aurahkah... He stood quietly, wondering what he sould say about his actions, why he was back, or even how to tell them anything. HE felt like fading away into the shadows, and never coming back... But Rakka was crying, and Nelphean was powerless to help her.
"We are here because we love you." He said quietly, as though it were only a gust of wind... But how coudl this elf love Aurahkah, when all he really knew was her clone...

"Poor little tomb-robber." A familiar voice crept over her shoulder, accompanied by nigh silent footsteps in the grass, they were only heard by her at all because they were entirely inside her head. A certain Pharaoh of her past came once again into her mind, walking up beside her now in the very light of her concious world. "First you kill this man, then you drive away your husband, then you drive away your friend. It wont be long before you've got nothing left."
"Aurahkah, were here to help drag you out of the way of that crumbling floor even if you dont want to save yourself. Let others take care of you just for a little while."
