Saradin watched Aurah leave the room with Nel and blinked a few times at the suddenness of his request but did little else until the small one in the room asking questions. "Hmm?" He gave in response to the boy standing there as he exacted swift toothy destruction upon the remnants of his orange. "Nialah? I havent seen her in a little while now. I dont know where she is. Havent met you yet, who are you exactly?"

Nelphean stood, "Follow me." He walked into the south wing, and opened to door to an unoccupied room. "Here you be, and I guess this means i have to hand you over now... Please don't bite again." Nelphean held Bastet closely to his heart and passed the kit to the old woman...
Nelphean heard Tyler ask about Nailah, and he patted the kid on the shoulder, but said nothing. He walked out of the room, and confronted Aurahkah... He felt very guilty about not telling her sooner... "I saw Nailah leave this morning, she had a fairly large pack, and a very sad longing look when she walked away after saying, Good-bye." Nelphean whispered into her ear... "I am sorry I didn't tell you sooner, you seemed-- I think I might have been selfish in keeping this from you... I am sorry, I didn't know what to do..." Nelphean closed his eyes, not wanting to see the reaction on Aurahkah's face.

Tyler looked at the man and said "My name is Tyler. I have a last name but my mommy says not to tell strangers what it is." He sighed and looked around the room. "I can't find her and I'm sc- worried about her. She shouldn't be gone this long." He had almost admitted that he was scared to this complete stranger. He didn't like being in the room with all these people and felt slightly uncomfortable. He had seen Miss Ara move out of teh room with one of the men who looked the same and he sighed with relief. Miss Niah would have made him apologize. His eyes grew sad when he thought of her and he slipped off his chair. He wasn't hungry and he suddenly felt very tired. He walked out of the kitchen and into Niah's room. He climbed under the covers and hugged a pillow. He was worried and so afraid she wasn't coming back. He slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Much better. My thanks Den mother."
After devouring his food, his eyes moved back to the cylinder that the false elf carried, idlying fingering his new collar, which, actually, sat rather nice on him. Not that he would know, but his form did give him a look as if he was the egyptian god Maahes, and the egyptian jewelry probably enhanced that effect.
"we have eaten, can we see the yellow glowing fang now?"
But instead, the false elf had the den mother go with him for a private talk. he snorted lightly, before goign about looking at his new collar, and digging around for eggnog in the fridge.

If mental snaps were audible, the whole place would of just heard Aura's. "She...left?" Her composure slowly broke as it started to settle in at an antagonizing slow pace. She reached an arm out and braced herself against the outside wall of the manor. It was happening again. The fight, then the departure...what if Nailah ended up like Saradin and died? Aura felt the tears welling up just as before but closed her eyes tightly and bite her lip till she drew blood. A common action for her to keep her crying away. Could she handle another friend's death on her shoulders. And there was no use going to get her, Nailah would never listen to Aura. Her posture and look oddly relaxed and took on a rather void look. "It's alright Nelphean...I do that to people. My anger gets the better of me, and I do and say things that just...drive them away." Every time she started to heal, she was kicked again. "Better I found out from you than on my own." Aura leaned back against the manor and slid down the wall to be in the grass. "Can I be alone?...Please?"

Bastet heard his heartbeat and nuzzled his chest.
The old hag sighed as the elf seemed reluctant to give up the cat. She hopped onto her cart and ordered her dogs to continue on into the Manor, quite rudely and followed Nelphean to the room. She sent her dogs and the cart into the room and stood outside, taking the cat into her arms.
The cat mewed to Nelphean, growled at the woman and jumped down to run into the room. She would not bite, but she could claw.
"Hope the dogs do not get her..." She walked into the room and closed the door behind her.

Saradin watched more and more people leave, and had no one left in the room but Cymarron, who was a bit imposing to say the least. "So, Cymarron right?" He started, trying to break ground with someone who apparently didnt like him. "Youve got a new collar. Why do you need one so badly?"

"Leaving you hear alone wont enable you to see her again."
Rakka was acting funny, but her tears shead some very bright light... "Rakka.. Do you think Nailah is in danger?"

"We have never been without one. as far back as we can remember. it felt..uncomfortable to not have it. we felt more naked than we would if we were without clothes."
His eyes moved to Saradin, after finding his eggnog, and downing about half of what he'd found.
"It is similar to Saradin's blade. Cymarron was under the impression from other's reactions that Saradin never went anywhere without it on his person. the Den mother took it very hard when it came back to the manor broken and with no Saradin with it."

She clenched a fist. Could she not just be allowed to break down in privacy. But unknown to the elf, he would be the one to suffer her anger. Aura looked up to him in an accusing way, tears clearly visible that were threatening to fall. "The last time I drove someone away, he died! And I know being alone won't bring her back! Probably nothing will! Especially if she's out there and gets killed! Too many people have died by my own doing!" Up out of the grass now and using her defense mechanism of anger. "Is that what you call danger?! If so then yes! Worse off, she's in danger because of me! First Saradin, now Nailah!"

"Interesting point. But my sword, I think id prefer not to have it if I could. I carry it only because I must, and I dont particularly like to fight. A sword is only a tool for death. The contradiction of protecting. Killing to save lives isnt something I'd call a perfect solution." He pulled his Soulforge, refered to as 'his' because there were two of them now it seemed, up from its place on his belt and layed it on the table. "Funny thing is, I dont even know why this sword is important to me anymore."

Yelling certainly got his attention. Feline ears swiveled, zeroed in on where the shouting was from, and his first thought was the false one was trying something on Aura to make her be more like his Rakka. that brought the customary reaction a servant would do to protect a master. He moved to the courtyard in a blur of fur, claws ready to rip the false elf into several pounds of bacon, when he caught the last part of Aura's shouting in words. Which brought his nose to the air, looking for a scent. Nailah needed to be here. who would take care of her child? Tyler seemed nearly terrified of all others here.

"Or Im talking to air and everyone else ran out of the room already." Saradin quipped and laughed a bit. His chair screeched intentionally as he pushed it away and stood up, the loud noise easily jarring him to full conciousness. He hadnt heard the same screams that Cym had thanks to drowsiness, and was without clue as to why the creature flew away so rapidly. "May as well find out where some of them went." Out of the kitchen he went, trying to pinpoint the whereabout of others.

Whirling around from Nelphean's departure she slammed into Cymarron, in what seemed to be an instant she had backed off, drew Soulforge and had its tip pressed to his shoulder, though not hard enough to even make a wound, more of just to look like a threat. The blade shook with her own trembling. Several things played in her eyes before both glazed over to an azure color. She just wanted everyone away before she gave them more trouble than she was worth. She gritted her teeth, no words finding escape from her throat.
