Kassion's psyenergy was strong, but he was not as practiced in the venus arts, so he was not as capable to reverse the fissure between the two of them. He stopped it quickly, but closing it back up would be a challenge, so he didn't bother trying.

"By all means, please continue."

Kassion noticed shouts from all over. The soldiers in every part of the city felt the disturbance of the tremor and the spark plasma's crack in the night sky, so they all began forming battle lines in the streets and sweeping the area. Many were just woken from their sleep, but they knew how to counteract that from the days of training and battle. They stay together and keep themselves from being vulnerable.

Under his coat, Leer's skin paled, the tattoo-like markings he usually kept hidden would show if he removed his coat. He continued to twirl the chained scythe. His teeth took a sharper look abot them now.

"Why do you have to be the bait?....I wasn't under the impression I was making you bait...After all, I'm right behind you..."

He turned now, his back facing Albarik's, the scythe humming in the night air. His plan was to let the Venus soldiers find THEM. He pulled a small glowing red sphere from his coat with his free hand, tossed it once or twice, then tossed it up, using wind psyenergy to juggle it about, then stabilized it two or three inches off the ground. He repeated this process with four more. One on each side, one in front, and one behind. When he was done, he gave a high pitched whistle, the orbs pulsed slightly, awaiting a second command. This was all just fortification, they'd be triggerred later when needed.

He made a motion with his hand, and a bolt of [plasma] crashed a few feet from their position. For now, Leer just stood still, awaiting the first enemy who'd find them. The light from the bolt would easilly be seen, and should bring them runnning to him.

'Wonder how he would like me to read his mind >.>'
Albarik stayed beside his companion. Blitz relaxed onto Albarik's shoulder, no longer giving his buff since they had stopped. Seeing the spark of plasma, he guessed he wasn't after stealth at all so he released the fog and compression of air. The cackling was very audible now , the sound traveling through the silent area. The charge completly covered his hand in light and could easily prove fatal to someone. He kept it contained in his hand.

~Vale Front, Jin's Perspective~

As Jin walked toward the two, the adept with the chain scythe released a [Plasma].

"Hm...a Jupiter Adept? The other guy doesn't look much like a Mars Adept either. Heh, too bad Jupiter Adepts aren't exactly effective against Venus Adepts. "

Since the two didn't seem to be paying attention to Jin, he decided to start up with something heavy. He charged his own scythe with psyenergy and jumped the adept who released the [Plasma] with a [Helm Splitter].

~Vale Front, Lance's Perspective~

As the fissure grew, Kassion took some effort to halt it.

"By all means, please continue."

Just them, a [Plasma] crashed across the sky and Lance heard some shouts.

"Well, I won't be able to fight Master Kinshou and all his little soldiers at once. I guess it's time to bail."

Lance sent a burst of psyenergy to shoot a sandstorm, but he quickly fled the scene and let it disperse. He ran to where the [Plasma] was sent.

"Hm...maybe these guys are fighting against the Mars Adepts or something."

However, no such luck when he got there. However, Lance immediately recognized the figure who was just springing up to assault one of the adepts there.

"Great, if it isn't Jin. I could use his help with Kinshou after he's done with those adepts."

Kassion saw the man in front of him high-tail it out into the opposite direction, towards a bolt of plasma, while kicking up a small sandstorm to mask his escape. Kassion knew the man wouldn't try to fight while running, or whatever he was doing, so he charged right through the sand.
He was right behind the man the entire time, but didn't see it until he was through the sandstorm. Then he stopped, leaving Kassion a wide open chance to strike.
He hesitated.
He saw Leer and Albarik. Just at that moment another man sprang at them.

"Look out!" Kassion shouted, alerting all of them of his presence and also giving away his chance to take the man in front of him.

He thrust a sword towards Leer and Albarik's attacker, "Pulse!"

A blast of wind shot out and knocked the attacking man off balance, making it impossible to complete a strike, but leaving him able to continue his attack when he lands.
It gave the two the second they needed to respond.

Kassion retrieved his hand and readied himself to fight the man in front of him. "Are you of importance? I would really hate to have wasted my time killing someone who is un-important." Kassion said with no less confidence than he presented.

He was growing impatient with the man's cowardice. "I'll give you one more chance to attack me, but after that you won't get the first strike again. Take it. It's the smart thing to do."

"Perhaps that is something best left untold. For now."

The Venus negotiators couldn't believe that Master Hiro just said something with a straight face, almost sinister. However, this only prompted Makko to become more curious about Hiro.

"Ok, your scaring me Master Hiro. Go back to your crazy self again. I would like to eat my food at room temperature." Mortimer lifted his mask up over his mouth and started to take a few bites of his food. "This really is the best place to get some good sea food." Mortimer pulled his masked and rubbed his chin. "The reason why I wear this thing is really protect my self. Things have happened in the past and I just need to keep my self safe."

Makko looked at Mortimer oddly. This man looked different indeed.

"Er, Mortimer, may I ask what happened?"

In the meantime, the other two Venus negotiators cleaned out their plates in a hurry.
"Sorry, I rather not say." Mortimer lifted his mask a bit and finished eating his food. "Well, that meal was great!"

~Vale Front, Lance's Perspective~

"Look out!"

A gust then swept Jin, and his strike missed the adept by centimeters.

"Great, Mr. Mars Master comes to unbalance the odds again."

Lance then turned to look at Kassion.

"Are you of importance? I would really hate to have wasted my time killing someone who is un-important. I'll give you one more chance to attack me, but after that you won't get the first strike again. Take it. It's the smart thing to do."

Lance then heard the sounds of metal clanking. Apparently, Jin has already started engaging both adepts, taking both of them at once. That leaves Lance to deal with Master Kinshou.

"Yea, no use wasting your time with us small fry. These two, uh, adepts are more than a match for us. If you're looking for the general, he's already escaping out of the village. Last I heard, he was on his way to Loho to report this to Master Strider."

~Vale Front, Jin's Perspective~

"Look out!"

A gust then swept Jin, and his strike missed the adept by centimeters. Jin quickly glanced to his side to see Master Kinshou interfere with the battle.

"Ugh. As if a 2v1 against me isn't enough. No wait, that's...Lance. Wasn't he supposed to be in Ridleybank?"

"Are you of importance? I would really hate to have wasted my time killing someone who is un-important. I'll give you one more chance to attack me, but after that you won't get the first strike again. Take it. It's the smart thing to do."

Jin quickly turned his mind into a blank slate, wiping the thoughts out of his mind as the two adepts he just tried to ambush were aware of his presence. He recovered from his attack and began swinging a flurry of slashes at his target adepts whiled they took the effort to parry his strikes.

"Yea, no use wasting your time with us small fry. These two, uh, adepts are more than a match for us. If you're looking for the general, he's already escaping out of the village. Last I heard, he was on his way to Loho to report this to Master Strider."

Jin chuckled inwardly. Lance was a riot when it came to these things.

Kassion shrugged, "Well, that was your last chance. Thanks for the information, though."
He spun the two blades into their sheaths and then pulled out Helios and Edarum. They were making his back ache, especially after their rolling around a moment ago.
He looked down at his secured mithril pouch on his hip and whispered, "Ready?"
Rage, Titan, Blaze, Avalanche, Inferno, Ash, and Frost all glowed in response.
He lept foward as the entire area took a lighter hue. Rage and Titan took imdiate effect on Kassion's strength. Blaze made it so that his bulk didn't slow his movement and threatened to make any wound on an enemy a fatal one. Inferno and Ash went straight to Leer and Albarik to increase their strength. Avalanche made little difference, but it increased the strength of the two Jupiter adepts and decreased the strength of the two Venus. Finally, Frost did little as well, but it slightely slowed the two Venus adepts.

He shouted, "Flame Wave!" The ground in front of Kassion erupted into flame, acting like a blade of fire, hungrily slicing through the ground to get to its victim.
Kassion didn't even get a step in behind the attack before it was at its target.

(tired of waiting for Leer, and you guys didn't, so I'll post. Hope I am able to exit whatever he put up.)
Albarik saw all that went on and felt a surge of power from the djinns and saw it channeling to his arms. He thought of an idea and transferred half of his plasma charge to his other hand. He then grabbed the hilts of his swords and unsheathing them transferred the lightning to them. He looked at it amazed.
"It worked...I'll have to practice this more later on"--He noticed the guy had begun to attack--"Blitz!"
Blitz, instead of staying separate, merged with Albarik, becoming his djinn and used his full power. Albarik focused and noticed the attacks. With his new speed he easily matched them and then using one of his sabres he kept it on the scythe while advancing to stab with the other. It was cackling with lightning.
(Not sure if your scythe is completely metal or not)

((sorry...schoolwork and such ><))

Leer's speed asilly matched that of Jin's, his smaller scythe dancing out deflecting blows as he weaved backwards. When he reached a point that was out of the range of Jin's scythe, he noticed Albarik's attacks, and sent the scythe in his hand snaking in on the length of it's chain, aiming at Jin's head. It would either be one heck of hit, or at least a distraction.

~Vale Front, Lance's Perspective~

"Well, that was your last chance. Thanks for the information, though."

The Mars Master's words contrasted Lance's light tone.

"Some rhetoric question that was."

The Mars Master then powered himself up, with obvious effects from Djinns.

"Flame Wave!"

As Kassion shouted, a horizontal pillar of flames rushed towards Lance. He took the flames like a man, seared but still standing.

"Blitz!"

Lance turned to see the two adepts teaming on Jin, proving an even match for him. One of the adepts then sent a scythe chain at Jin. Intervening, Lance raised an earthy wall to intercept the attack on Jin. Lance barely noticed Jin nodding back at him as he turned his attention back to his opponent. Lance himself then glared at Master Kinshou.

"Well, before we continue, and in case I am killed in this battle with you, I might as well tell you my name so you can mark it on my grave. Perhaps you could engrave something like, 'Here lies Major General Lance. Died fighting to the end for his clan.' Yea, that'd be good."

~Vale Front, Jin's Perspective~

As the two adepts continued parrying his strikes, the two adepts kept moving back.

"Blitz!"

"Oh great, a Djinn user."

The other adept then stepped back as the adept who called upon Blitz began a flurry of quick dual strikes with his sabers to the point where he had control of the battle, forcing Jin to parry one of the sabers while dodging the other. Jin then heard a minor rumble near him. He turned his head a bit to see an earthen wall, with a scythe barely protruding through it. Jin gave a little nod to Lance's direction then quickly re-focused at his enemy. While the two continued trading blows, Jin took a split second to draw enough psyenergy and sent a [Haunt] to the adept with the chain scythe.

"Heh, that should keep him busy while I take care of this guy."

Jin then hopped out of the saber-wielding adept's range and had enough time to gather his psyenergy.

"Ragnorok!"

A great blade materialized above the saber-wielding adept and within moments, crashed down upon the adept with sabers.

~Mercury Front~

""Sorry, I rather not say. Well, that meal was great!"

Makko was baffled. First Master Hiro, now Mortimer. They both were hiding something from the Venus negotiators. Whatever the case, the Venus negotiators needed their time alone. When they were finished with the dinner, Makko and the others hurried off back to their hotels.

"That was a splendid dinner indeed. I do have to introduce the rest of my clan to this place next time. It was nice to meet you two, but we need to take care of some business right now, so if you'll excuse us, we'll be back in our rooms. Do call when those ships are ready."

Albarik put up his sabers to guard and in moments felt them straining. He jumped back and was hit by the aftermath of its collison. He rose to his feet and saw that the blades still had the charge on them. He held them both to his right and swung them left sending the [Plasma] toward Jin. He once again charged forward in attack. Blitz left Albarik and began casting [Tempest].

Mortimer shouted back at them. "They will be ready three hours after day break or so!" He sat back down and leaned back in his chair. "Well they sure were a nosy bunch, wouldn't you say Hiro?"

"I hold no grudge, Lance, so i'll be sure to inform Matt of the outcome and your wish."
Without hesitation, Kassion rushed at his enemy, but zig-zagged towards him, throwing 'Flame Waves' with each dash.
Just as he reached Lance, who was taking blows, but more than ready for him, he tossed Helios as a diversion and swiped diagonally at Lance with Edarum.
