"STOP!!!" she yelled. "Don't either of you move." She looked at both of them and sighed. "Someone tell me what's going on here? I know that you left Saradin and Nelphean..." She felt a hand on her back and looked at the elf. It was true. It wasn't the elf she was used to seeing, the carefree and flirtatious elf that liked to spout interesting sayings and was a whiz at magic. She looked between teh men and bit her lip. "Do either of you know who I am?"

"No idea beyond that I should." Saradin admitted it with his back still turned to her, then slowly turned around and smiled faintly. "But I cant remember anything at all beyond last night. Its no joke, but I still want to help you out. All Im missing are the memories."

Nelphean shook his head slowly, "I don't know your name, or much more about you than I have heard and seen." Nelphean looked at her, he stood rather calmly, his emotions still disguised. "Would the Nelphean you know lie to you? As I will not."

Nailah shook her head. Things never seemed to make any sense anymore. "I don't know anymore." She slowly sank down against the wall. "My name is Nailah but everyone calls me Niah. I am an empath but currently don't trust my abilities. I wish to Ra feelings were foreign to me but that's a long story. I'm 3019 years old and I am eternal. I recently was hurt by someone who I cared about adn am still trying to accept that. I like cheesecake, wine and long walks on the beach. I don't liek snakes or spiders."

With the clouds starting to come in, draining the sunlight that shone through the barrier out, she pulled herself from the grass and brushed herself off. No sense in staying still if there was no sun to bask in. Hands clasped behind her back, she wandered over to the lake to stare at her reflection in the water. The length of her hair didn't bother her anymore, in fact she rather liked it. It wasn't as heavy and the bond mark on her back was more visible as well than it had been. Giving a sigh to her reflection she turned from the water, giving herself a few more moments of empty thoughts before she knew she would have to return to them. And they were slowly starting to creep back in at that very moment. At least she had had a nice break between headaches.

Bastet awoke quite content in her bed in the arms of her elf. A smile played across her face as she untangled herself from him, though she did not wish to wake him so she stood and walked around the room for the time being looking at the painting that was now displayed. Afterwards, she went into the adjoining bathroom, changed into a nice purple dress with a deep royal sash, and fixed her hair. She still strapped her sai on under the flowing piece. With a smile to the elf she walked to the door of her room.

"Well meet miss Nailah." Nelphean walked closer to Nailah, but remaind a friendly distance away. He sat down to look at her at eye level "I am Nelphean Brightsabre, I am an escaped prisoner of a hell I never wish to reviste, and I am plegued by the loss of my closest friend yesterday. I enjoy orange juice and swiming in the lake."

Nelphean shruged, "I am sorry, I lost much of who I was a the end of a tormentor's whip."

"She didn't even say good morning." NElphean laid in the bed, not really feeling like getting up... "I wonder what keeps me here." He remembered his clone's attack...

She turned abruptly as her ears twitched and with a smirk on her face she popped her head noiselessly back into her own room. "Good morning my dear elf. I was unsure if you were awake, but next time I promise to do it regardless and wake you from your restfull sleep which you look so peaceful in. Hm, now I wish to learn that little dream spell you did... I would hope that you know what keeps you here since you gave me a reason to stay." The inquisitive look was evident as she winked at him.

"Good to know you Niah. I know so little right now that every bit helps. All I am is what you see and parts of what used to be. I get the feeling that I used to act quite differently." It wasnt long before he was walking again forward into the room, addressing her like an old friend now just to make her feel more comfortable, and after all she was one.

"I meant in bed." Nelphean laughed, and twisted out of the bed and landed on the floor, Caliburn literally appeared in his hand, and he swong it in a circle, and replaced it at his side... "Now where did I leave that scabbard..." He looked about... "SO what is on the agenda today?" Nelphean found his belts, and donned them, deciding to forgo the shirts. "What? Do you think I should wear more?"

Walking back inside, she was already rubbing her temples. Gods, those headaches came back and with vengeance too. Aura paced the great hall for a moment before she came to stand before the fire that nowadays always seemed to be going, regardless. She flicked a piece of hair over her shoulder and sighed as the familiar weight began to return to her shoulder, though not as heavy or burdening as before. "I really do think to hard..."

She shrugged, "I would think it could be the same reason." In an exceedingly playful mood today she smiled at him and stuck her leg in front of her some which was not completely covered thanks to the dress, "Only if you think I should put pants on." She thought for a moment, "Hm, well I was thinking about trapping a poor defenseless creature in a barrier, purely scientific purposes, I assure you."

"Who?" Nelphean inquisited, leaving his shirt and vest on the ground where they were. He did put his booats on, and folded his cloak... "Wait, maybe I should wear..." He shook his head and walked out of the room, "DO you think the other girls will be offended?"

Nailah nodded. She tilted her head and looked at Saradin. "Well I know that you have left us before but you always come back. I also know that you were one of the first ones I trusted with my story. You were the reason I was able to get over..." she stopped for a moment and then realized what she had been about to say. Suddenly she thought about how much she had loved Nadai and how much he had loved her in return. She had been able to get over him. Why couldn't she do the same with Alex? It was clear that he hadn't felt the same or even close to teh same about her so why was his leaving affecting her so much?

Cymarron had finished his alcoholic suicide, and flung the container against the wall. He was frustrated and angry. he was here to learn to be his own master, as the Old one said, but he didn't know if he wanted to be his own master. he had lived his whole life under the will of another. it was all he knew, and he had accepted it, was comfortable with it. No more music. no more half naked girls, not more gladiatorial fights. no more playtime with them. things he'd hated..but they were what he knew. they were comfortable to him. to obey another, to be under another's command. to be just a Hunter, a defender to the territory.

"Why? why should we need to be our own master? what would be our purpose without someone to tell us?"

He raked his claws on the table in frustration.

"What will our purpose be?"
