Mercenary Baynes Well, besides enrolling at the high school where these two fine ladies study and you play tough guy, I've just been admiring the lovely womenfolk in the area. I seem to have gathered quite the following. My little group of admirers rivals even that of the late Ash Renford, may his soul rot in Hell for Eternity. Dawn's eyes widened at that last comment and she nearly choked on her toast as Deidra pounded the table, her entire being overcome with laughter. She raised her glass in the air. "Cheers, Genju!"

Dawn shook her head and stood up from the table, her aura turning cold. "I'm going for a walk. Follow me and you will soon come to regret it." She disappeared in a flash before anyone could speak.

Deidra sighed. "I'm not sure myself, but I don't believe she will be the same again. See a glimmer of her old self, yes. But she will never be herself again..." She leaned back in her chair, the light mood from earlier leaving as quickly as Dawn had.

Dawn reappeared next to the grave of her parents and took a trail away from it towards the lake, her anger slowly fading from her body. In the distance, the sun was just breaking the rise of the mountains causing the shadows in the land to shift and dance. Dawn stopped short of the shore of the lake and watched the steam rise off the center of the water. A few minutes later, as she watched, the water stirred and churned as a lone figure emerged from the water. Her eyes widened as she realized the figure was a man. Bane.

As if he sensed her eyes on him, Bane turned and looked right at Dawn and watched her for a few moments before turning away to dive back under the water.

V is for Veretta As if he sensed her eyes on him, Bane turned and looked right at Dawn and watched her for a few moments before turning away to dive back under the water. Within seconds, Dawn realized that Bane didn't have his mask on. Come to think of it... A dark blush crept into her cheeks as she realized he had no clothes on either and felt her jaw drop. Then he reappeared in front of her, covered by the water from the waist down. In the rise of the sun, she could see the multiple scars that marred his skin, some ranging from below his waist to just below his neck and right eye. But underneath the scars, he had a face made stern with wisdom she wanted to know about. She knew she was staring, but he took her observance calmly and watched her in return out of midnight blue eyes, crossing his arms across his chest.

He felt his lips curl into a smile and fought it lest he offend her. Then he inwardly sighed and summoned his hooded cloak.

Dawn sensed his summoning and rushed forward into the water to rest her hands on his shoulders. "No, don't hide your face!" She cried out, but grabbed instead onto the worn cloth of the hooded cloak.

Chibi_Pooka Aslynn parked her car along side the drive and stepped out, hesitantly she moved towards the front door and knocked. Alex jumped slightly at the sudden sound of someone knocking on the front door. She smiled sheepishly and poked Sage, "Do you knwo who it is?""Hn, its Aslynn from school...wonder why she would come all the way out here." He got up reluctantly and dressed, padding softly to the front door and opening it. Alex took her time getting dressed, a heavey feeling resting over her, though she brushed it aside as she finally was dressed and followed after Sage. She rounded the corner just in time to hear Aslynn's voice. "I need to speak with Alexandra."

Sage eyed Aslynn and then nodded as Alex rounded the corner, he could feel her hesitance over this and the overall feel in the room was tense. "Aslynn came by to talk with you Alex."
Alex merely nodded and moved to stand next to Sage facing Aslynn, "I didn't think I would be getting a visit from you like this"
