Nelphean heard Rakka's voice, but something was trying to bary it... His mind focused on the elf infront of him. The swords clang together, as Caliburn occasionally found the tim to parry, but the only thing Keeping Nelphean's head on his shoulders was the fact he could hide behind the sword. Nelphean stared into Nelphean's eyes, and turned the light sword off, the blade disappear as suddenly as it appeared.
Nelphean froze. He didn't even twitch, the out right hatred in the eyes of this Nelphean surpased even that seen in the eyes of Shez'Golith herself. Nelephean thanked heaven that the elf maintained some composure...
"Nelphean... " Nelphean grabed Nelphean with a telekinetic hold, choking the elf, but let go just as suddenly again... He wa so very angry at this elf, but Rakka said to stop... He turend and walked towards were Rakka had called from, and saw her standing, well and almost carefree... Not his Rakka... His throat swelled with his rage, and he just walked towards the kitchen, and only said one word... "Rakka"
He had never been so afraid in his life, not even when he was fight all four pitfiends alone did he feel this creeping doom. He looked at Aurahkah, "I think I know exactally what he is talking about, and it might be more my fault than any of us will ever care to acknowledge." The young elf sighed, "I think I am going to go sleep on this." He turned around and walked away, "That is the last time I ever walk visably in these halls."

"Well, as long as its typical for here." He said, standing up and walking calmly but quickly behind Aurah while still sipping his coffee. Two elves, each the same as the other, fighting in the halls. One was after its twin who was forced to defend himself. This was normal. As they both concluded their scuffle, he sipped a bit more from his mug and followed the new Nel back into the kitchen. "Nelphean..." He whispered cautiously, feeling all the bitter emotions that swelled within the man hed met just last night.

"Home? Pack? We don't have...do we? We belong to the Master...we have a collar..."
His hand went to his neck, and finding nothing there...gave almost a whimper.
"We were abandoned? Cymarron was good, wasn't he? We killed who we were told to kill, we fought to make the master his money...we did good right? Were we sold?"
He moved to his typical crouch.
"Who is our Master or Mistress now?"
The Old one watched with a saddened look.
"This is the cycle you'll need to break. we've freed him from his mind's pain, but not repaired the damage done. I am forbidden to intervene, as many ancestors have a...dislike..for Cymarron. a prejudice of lives past. So while I coudl help in restoring him to the world, I cannot repair him."

"Imagine the only friend you ever had horribly tortured and killed." Nelphean walked to a window, and stared at the relfection it offered him, his flesh still pinkened by the blood...

They were doing it again. The Gods were trying to spoil her brief moment of reprieve that had been given...they liked to do it. She gave a sigh. Now one Nelphean would be paranoid and possibly guilt ridden, the other just plain angry. Another sigh and she stepped in the kitchen behind Saradin. Snatching her mug off the table she refilled it then returned to the old table and took a seat. How to approach this. She steeped her fingers and then leaned back in hr chair and went Saradin's route. "Nelphean..." She was quiet at his statement. "I can only imagine from the one being tortured's point of view, though spare the death. Other than that I can't..."Aura was picking her words carefully.
"Live with us." And she thought she was confused. Cymarron seemed more so and his confusion on stressed her frustration.
"Cymarron. You live here now. You have no master or mistress, but are seen upon equal levels with those that stay here. You weren't sold or abandoned in the least. If anyone did abandon you it was Malik, and Aurahkah took you in." He gave a sigh and looked back to the Old One. "I've broken worse. Don't worry, we'll get him back."

Nelphean turned and looked upon Aruahkah, his eyes showed an almost lifeless blue hue, "I was nothing when she found me, I had nothing, she gave me everything." He tried to recall how exactly they became in the state they were in, hell, he could not even remember life before the endless torture, it was sucked out of his very being, in the most unpleasent of ways.
"From nothing to something, and then nothing again."
The worst part, "With out him, niether of us would have ever lived. Without him, she would not have been... She would not have known..." Nelphean did blame Nelphean for this situation, he even realized that he ahd always know, that he was...
"I have no memories but her's and the ones we created."
"He did this to yo-, her."

"Pain like that... I can imagine it easily. And I know that I knew it once." Saradin said, his voice even and gentle, sympathetic. "I dont know why its gone now but it is, so I cant claim the pain that you do." His coffee finished itself and was replaced by another batch to stave off the worries. "I dont even know what you went through, so its not my place to comment. But you seem strong. Strong enough to beat the pain that you know Rakka doesnt want you suffering from."

It was like one of those long talks she remembered having with SAradin. With a man who spoke of something and nothing. Now and elf spoke to her in same fashion. "You can't...change the past Nelphean...and..." Why was it so hard to grasp words? Because she was stuck under his gaze and partially under the name he was associating her with. In truth, it was not just Nelphean's fault. If Aurahkah was dead a buried like she was supposed to be, there would of never been a Rakka. Rakka, he was fond of her, and perhaps his salvation even after her death. "Do you think...that after gaining your freedom...that she would want to see you like this?"

"I never carred about my freedom." Nelphean answered, and his gaze turned to the wise Saradin. "All I know that she wanted more than anythign else to come back here." And here I am and not her.

Cymarron listened, lightly setting Ecara down.
"Cymarron needs the his master or mistress. Cymarron has to know who to hunt..when to hunt..when we can sleep, when we can move about. or Cymarron will not have his purpose. our purpose...we were..gladitor. we fought the best fights. the other masters wanted to breed us. we got the master much fame. the Mistress..we were her Hunter, in the Pride. She gave us purpose after we lost the Master. We lost her..?"
The Old one moved toward Cymarron, motioning to Eclipse to follow.
"You did not lose her. She left you here, because of Death Angel. it was for your safety that you learn to be like she wanted, remember? Free and strong. you are here to learn that. is that not correct?"
the Old one looked to Eclipse, as Cymarron sat there confused trying to sort out the jumble in his mind.

"She seemed to care that you were happy. Can you try to give her that at least? She's with you as long as you can keep her hopes alive in yourself." The bitter taste of his drink filled his mouth again and was gone again. "You at least know what youve lost. Im forced to just sit here wondering what I used to be."

Eclipse kept his posture as neutral as possible as he followed and approached Cymarron. He was slightly anxious to get a hold of Ecara. He knew Cymarron would never hurt the child, but she was still stressing over the smell of blood despite the comfort she was getting from the feline. "Yes. Just as he says, you're here to learn to be your own master. To tell yourself what to do and when. To have your own freedom." Then he fell into an old line. "To learn to be like a phoenix."
She wanted to slam her mug down on that table, but merely resisted the urge and tightened her grip on the mug itself. Too much. Sometimes...she just wanted to scream and run away from it all like she used to. But instead of a scream she sighed and lightly shook her head. Both of them lost in someway or another, herself equally lost just hiding it in trained fashion. Screaming would of felt really good right about now.

His eyes began to narrow at Saradin, how he hated that man. "What a curse, not knowing is... I don't know anything about my life before Rakka became part of it, I don't remember anythign about who I am or where I came from, how I got there or why they were torturing me."
"I guess I am being selfish, wishing that it was my death, and her survival... All I wanted was for her to be safely home."

"But when she came home and found that it was never hers to have? Things are not always simple Nelphean, though we wish they were with all our hearts."
"Aurahkah, youve been quiet." It wasnt a large shift, changing his attention over to her, shed been there for the whole conversation and gone silent. Trying to be nuturing and supportive was difficult work for people, and she had mentioned vaguely that she too was in the same boat. "Is there something wrong?"

"We are here to be taught to be our own master. to..be like a pheonix? phoenix rise from thier ashes. they die and are reborn. we are broken. you will...fix us then?"
The Old one grinned lightly.
"At least he gets the concept. but my time here for now is over, more shall we say, being recinded for helping too much in some eyes. and do tell your Coban that he keeps a good place, we're honored to be guests here."
The Old one's image wavered and faded, while Cymarron, lasping into old habits, and sat on the floor, eyes cast downward.
