been playin' DDR for about 5 years now and lovin' every minute. fav machine so far is a tie between 3rd and extreme. 3nodding
unfortunately, i haven't played ddr in 4 months. crying but i'm planning on getting extreme 2 for the PS2 within the month so w00t! 4laugh otherwise.... bullocks!

I've been playing DDR for about half a year, though I started when I was about..8 years old, but I stopped for a while, then got addicted again this year. (=
I only play standard, though. I can't seem to pass in heavy mode..=( But I can do pretty good in standard mode..I'm improving, actually.
I play almost every weekend, I don't have PS, so I have to go to the arcades and play..(=

I like DDR I play on Heavy at home On DDR Extreme 2 and DDR extreme 1 at the arcade I play standard, I love gaia and DDR and Im American (but im not white) lol smile

i enjoy fast songs and ive been playing for around 4-5 years

Hello, I'm Raven and I love ddr! I often say I'm going to play it everyday until I rock at it, but I have trouble living up to that. Still, I have been improving bit by bit. Now I'm on Standard mode and usually I make A's or B's and, sadly, the occasional failing grade on those really hard songs, especially because I've been sightreading them alot lately. (I hope you guys call it sightreading, because that's what playing a piece for the first time is called in band and I'm a band nerd. =P) So that's me!

Yep, I refuse to tell my age until the time is right. I played DDR for like......around 3 years. Well..........almost. I'm only a Standard skilled person because I kill my energy pretty quickly and I can't keep up with very complicated paterns. I can only do up to a rating difficulty of 7 feet. Back then I was a total noob. But now I can do a little bit of fancy foot work now. My brother, he's a total street performer! He's a Double Standard and is pretty much a freestyler. One Friday there was this new guy playing DDR on Light and isn't really good. My brother tutored him on increasing his skill. One most important thing: NEVER. EVAR. RETURN TO THE CENTER! It can save your a** from all sorts of situations. I got a chance to play and my brother demonstrated how I play. The guy was "scared" at my skill. That means something! Because I'm not a scary type of person at all! I'm planning to get DDR Mario Mix because I heard it has cool dance remixes. One of my favorite songs is Dynamite Rave, but I have many others.
One more tip: Try to alternate using your feet. I gotta get used to that in order to reach Heavy. >.<

my friends think i look funny when i do it only because im on a higher level than they are when they are all still on beginner but then others are like thats crazy. eek
i believe i have started the dance dance revolution in the small town of picayune, mississippi. i owned it before everyone else 2 years ago and all my friends saw it and now each own at least one mat and a version of the game i certainly own 3 mats one for the gamecube and 2 for ps2. i brought it to school one day for a demonstration and then everyone thought it was just excellent. mrgreen
