Malik laughed lightly, staying seated.
"A trap? oh my good Koada'Dal..you underestimate me. Or my new pet. He's much better now. it only took I think three or four hours to bring him back. of course Samson helps great with that."
The dark elf laughed lightly. standing up, and balled his guantleted hand into a fist and jerked up, forcing Cymarron's collar to tighten and jerk him into a sitting position.
"I take it you're here though to reclaim him? and what have you come here to barter with?"

Her own hand balled at her side at the action taken against Cymarron. It hurt to watch. Yet she was trying to play he cards right. "I have to say, I've come unprepared. Perhaps if you state your terms for a trade, then I can go back to my own residence and fulfill our deal." Damn damn damn damn. This man was more business than fight it seemed.

Tyler yawned and looked over at Nailah. "What are you doing Miss Niah?"
Nailah looked at the little boy and smile. "Hi sweetheart. You're awake. And you know what that means?"
Tyler shook his head. He didn't know what she was talking about.
"You have an apology to give, Tyler. Aurahkah was quite upset with you and you acted very rude to her."
Tyler's hung his head. "I forgot about it."
She smiled at him. He looked so forlorn. "It won't be that bad, sweetheart. I'll be right there with you." She took his hand and led him to Aurahkah's room. She hadn't seen Aura around so she figuered she was in her room. Nailah put her hand to the door and knocked a few times. "Aura."

"Something you might like, your life." Nelphean looked at the creature, "Well, what's left of it." His hand still held his cylinder, wondering whatthe fight might look like. "I think you should consider surrendering." Nelphean noted the risks... Lightly armoured and lightly armed... Perhaps this pitiful man had an ace up his sleeve...
"Rakka, I want you to leave at the first sign of trouble, I will find my own way home." His eyes focused, "Well, are you going to surrender?"

Her ears twitched and then she heard her mother's name called. Ecara looked up from her current book that she had been sponging up like water. Shutting it she slid off the bed and ran to the door, opening it to see Tyler and Niah. "Tyler, Niah!" She gave them both a happy fanged grin. Then that smiled faded to simple contentment. "Mommy not here."
Aura looked over to Nelphean, who was ready to fight. He seemed more so inclined to than the Nelphean back at her own manor. A simple nod to him, even if it was to put his mind at ease.

Malik grinned slightly and jerked his hand forward, forcing Cymarron to follow till he sat on teh ground by him, where Malik unlocked his chain.
"I'm not that foolish. you know obviously the layout of my home, and you'll certainly come back with more help. But I could let you settle this my way."
He crossed his arms lightly.
"You have a mighty fine pet of your own there. a winged dog, with more than meets the eye to him. I'll wager my new pet, against yours. You win, you get him back. I win, I get you. you'd fetch a fine price, or maybe I coudl keep you for personal use."
He grinned ever so smugly, waiting for her response to his offer.

Nailah looked at Ecara and smiled. She was so cute. "Where is your mommy Ecara?"
Tyler looked at her and pulled his hand out of Niah's. He smiled at Ecara and sighed with relief when he heard her say Aura wasn't there. That meant he didn't have to apologize yet. "Hey Cara. Wanna play with me?"
Niah watched the little boy for a moment and bit back a smile. He was so predictable. Already showing male tendencies even at his tender age. She wondered where Aura was.

He looked at Aurahkah, his thoughts were shrouded, mostly full of concern. His eyes revieled that he would not abadnon her to any master, "I have seen you tortured too many times to agree to those terms, Release all your slaves, or die." He turned to face the man, turning his thoughts inwards, focusing his battlestrengths, strengths he learned in hell.

It sounded absurd and she was about to protest...when her look suddenly jerked to Eclipse. The wolf looked up to her and held her gaze. Private conversation was being hastily relaid and in the end when she looked away from him...she looked like someone had just slapped her. Then her gaze went to Nelphean. "Nelphean..."
Without a sound other than the click of claws and gold, the dark winged wolf stepped forward. He wasn't afraid, not in the least. And there was no way he was going to let Cymarron or Aurahkah fall to this man. And there was no way he was going to let Aurahkah loose Cymarron like Saradin had been lost. "Let him fight...I will fight alongside him. Besides, this Malik thinks we are stupid...we know you would use the beast against us...besides Cymarron hosts many others...its an unfair fight to take him on myself."
A smile to Tyler and a nod. Then she looked up to Niah. "Mommy and daddy..." She stopped as she searched for words. Putting together sentences was still hard. She shook her head in frustrated fashion as she couldn't think of the words she wanted, other than 'gone'.

Nailah nodded at Ecara. She could see the little girl struggling and was quick to make her feel better. "It's okay Ecara. Don't worry about it. Come on you two, it's a beautiful day outside. You can play in teh courtyard while I visit with a friend of mine."
Tyler nodded happily and said "Come on Cara. I'll race you!" He took of and ran down the hall with Ecara hot on his heels.
Niah listened to the children laughing and couldn't bring herself to tell htem not to run. She shrugged. Might as well let them have thier fun. What harm could it do? She made her way outside and left the two playing some kind of game in the courtyard. She made her way to teh graveyard. She wandered in and looked for any ghosts who might be hanging around currently. "Hello?"

It was eerily quiet...like horror movie scary quiet in the graveyard. Normally chatty ghosts seemed scarce to the place as if they never existed. Then one made himself known. "Kinda dangerous to be around here right now."

Malik looked at Nel, very unimpressed, and idly reached to pet Cymarron some more. Cymarron sat, staring blankly into space.
"You really are underestimating me. You think I would not be prepared for your kind here? OR not prepared for those damnable weapons? My father was an enchanter...perhaps you think me some weak magi?"
He smirked, and in an instant was no longer in his robes, but dark armor with a sword that radiated hate, and glowed with bloodlust.
"and lets not forget that one hard clench of a fist and I can kill the one your here for. So waht say you? Accept my deal, or leave and don't come back."

Niah saw Thobias and smiled. "Hey Tobi. What do you mean dangerous?" She had the strangest feeling that there was a lot of anger. Which was strange because ghosts weren't subject to her empathic powers and she wasn't trusting them just now anyway. She shook her head. "I came out here to see you actually." She began to play with her dress. "I kind of wodered...if you could tell me..." she stopped. "Did you really love Aura the whole time? I mean I know how you feel but did you truly love love her?" Niah blurted it out. She was feeling so insecure over Alex and she could only talk to one who had made the same mistake she had. But then his really couldn't be called a mistaek. Ra knew hers was a royal scrweup...

"Eclipse, fight the beast." Nelphean's eyes glowed, oh this man certainly has a thing to learn about pushing the creatures from hell around... Especially the ones with grudges. "Lets give him what he wants, A decent show. Make sure that show off all your moves, every single one of them." The elf smiled, his thoughts completely empty, only one thought stood out in his mind, Rakka's first rape.
"Lets give him what he really wants."

Thobias looked at her a moment, just stared really before he laid an unfelt hand to her shoulder. "Yes. I really did love her at one point. She was everything to me. My whole world." He sighed. "But I screwed that up when I tried to shortcut my way through things. Sometimes I still think...that we could of ended up together. But my better judgment tells me...it's for the best we didn't. After all, I was only mortal, her eternal." He then dropped his hand. "And Coban and Jaxom are still a little steamed about the manor."
Despite her knowledge on how to use the blade properly and to its full potential, she withdrew Soulforge...perhaps it would prove useful as it did against Nelfien. Her other hand reached back and withdrew a sai. Then Aurahkah stepped up to join the ranks of both elf and wolf. A look and nod between her and Eclipse then a look to Nelphean "Deal Malik. Deal."
((Anyone mind if we pause it here? I need to sleep and it seems oh so fitting.))
