She watched everything silently, watched how he poured out his soul to her in the most he has ever really told her about his concerns and what he strongly felt. When he knelt down, she set her hand on his head, running his fingers through his hair. When he stood back up, she looked into his eyes and saw the tears. "You are not a bad person because you have a big heart. This causes you to love many in different ways, if fate has a problem with it then oh well. I am not sure I believe in fate."
"You know that I have died before and that was not your fault. I have come close to death before. You know that you saved me many times on that battlefield, so you can save the living. You did not kill anyone, and even if you feel that you did is that not in the past? Technically it is my fault that my previous love died and I lived on. Not all can bring back the dead, but you saved me. That is little consolation for your soul, accept that maybe things change." She gave a shuddering breath as some tears came to her as well. "Did you know that I blamed myself for you taking hits for me? I told myself I was being reckless and that caused you to defend me. I still believe that. Guilt consumes us about the ones we love, whether we should blame ourselves or not."
She moved both of her hands to cradle his face as her gaze remained warm with his. "How are you so sure that it will all happen again? History will repeat itself, but then it will get bored as well and fate will find another soul to torture. Why do you always worry about the future so when we have not done anything with the present?" The tears rolled now as she thought about losing another that she held to her heart, "I love you. I do not want you to suffer by fighting, but if you die, I do not know what I would do but maybe die slowly inside too." She fought with herself, maybe it would have been better if she had died and not caused him so much pain and worry by falling in love.

Nelphean put all his words to rest by kissing Bastet.
"Being alive does have its benefits" Nelphean smiled weakly, mostly because his heart was so thick with love it could sink a ship... "I have a few confessions to make..." The elf almost felt like she would drive her dagger throught his heart, "I kissed both Aurahkah, and Nailah... and almost Eclipse."

She kissed him back and made sure to keep him that way for a little while. He was not thinking so hard anymore. "Did anyone ever tell you, you think and talk a lot?" She sighed and looked away slightly unsure, "I heard about Aurahkah..." When he said Eclipse it really through her off and she returned a questioning look to him. "That desparate and confused?" She held onto him, not wanting him to go anywhere.

He smiled kindly at her, "Yeah, I do have a big mouth, and yeah, he has really deep eyes, eyes that just suck your soul in and make you want to kiss him, I can certainly swoon over a wolf like him." The elf laughed at his little joke, perhaps he should continue it with the pup. "Now that I am no longer hunted, I have nothing to do." He smiled, "I need some time alone to gather my thoughts back up, and straighten my thinking, so I don't lull myself onto other women again... I can't believe I went so crazy so quickly and so shortly... just a guilty heart..." the elf kissed Bastet again.
He tried to release himself from the grip, but his arms seemed to not be moving. "Uh, lets go play nappy on the garder by the tree wher you killed my enemy."
((Sorry, sleepy Bastet and being forced off. night ya'll))

"A guilty heart causing you to kiss everyone in sight?" She breathed deeply in and out, sure yet unsure. It all still confused her but she could not ignore what he said. She smiled and kissed his big mouth. "Well at least I know how to shut it when need be. I will be sure to give Eclipse your compliment however." A laugh came for the first time in a while, "You have more time for other things... and sure, is it wrong that I do not wish to part with you yet? I mean if you want me to go..." She pulled away some, then took him seriously. Instead of going outside, she shoved him into the nearby room, which happened to be his and went in after him.

"That wasn't the best of ideas..." Nelphean frowned, as half of his defensive magics were cast, and all of his posesions wer ecovered with chining sphere of magical energies, and then the door way was covered with thick layers of sticky web. "Well, I guess we are stuck in here for the mean time..." The elf laughed, "Luna, always say the password before coming in here."

She laughed and looked at him with a slight apologetic look. "Oops sorry, I was uninformed, and I just can not help myself sometimes." Her gaze swept over everything as she shook her head, "Paranoia... did I just make things difficult?"

"Paranoia. I'd rather not have thieves sneak off with my possesions... Oh, never ever under any circum stance open my spell book." The elf's eyes were very serious, mroe so than Bastet could have ever imagined. "So, now what, that we are stuck in here... If we wait a few hours, I'll be able to reset all the traps and get us out... but what to do until then..." The elf smiled.

She nodded, "There are resident thieves here... As proper as it was to warn me never to look in the spell book, you might wish to tell me why so that something like this does not happen again." Understanding the serious look in his eyes she was not going to press that subject anymore. She smirked at him, "So you are caught in your own traps? My that is a hazard, or are you saying that you can not reset them for a few hours for a reason? I do not know exactly what I should do with you..." She brushed one hand against his cheek and maintained his gaze moving to touch the tips of his ears.

Nelphean grinned as her hand rubbed his face, "Limited spells per day, and I cleaned myself out fighting Shezabitch." The was alot of spells, how long had he been fighting her anyway... He remembered walking outside... Too long... That was alot of magic...
"Purr!" He said softly.

"Ah, and what a perfect name for her. So I guess you are weakened?" She laughed, "Why should I just give away a purr? A true one comes naturally, but if you want a forced one..." She brought herself close to his ear and purred deep into him, twitching her tail as she played.

"Uh huh." She removed her hand and plopped on the floor, still curious and looking about her. "So among other things, you forget what is so simple that you see before you?" With a sigh she still thought about recent actions. Maybe they were his feelings put to life then, subconscious let out by an experience and a revelation.

"Or maybe I don't see the body that hold the Bastet." Nelphean sat across from her. "Yes, this has gotten complicated." The elf looed her in the eye, "There is nothing I can say or do that will change the fact of what has happened."
The pair ran like the wind from the screaming banshees that chased them, it was a big risk stealign the key, and he was willing to take it for her. The pair came to the door, a large iron behemoth that stood much taller than either of the escapees had thought, but they were determined to escape this hell. The key fit into a hole at eye level, and turned easily. The pair jumped in, but a scream echoed from one of their lips. He watched her head fold back over the force of the blow, the glaive stabing right through her back, and spilling her blood onto him. He watched in horror as they continued through the gate, and his eyes widened as she slowly decaded durign the trip. He did this for her, and now she was dead.... The door closed, and no one gave chase, thinking that their work was done, or not caring in the least.

Hm, good answer. What happened to the days when she looked at all sides of an issue? Had she become that entangled in the emotions? "I think we know well that the past can not be changed, not with words or actions, it simply is. I guess it is all just still fresh in my mind." Looking into his eyes made everything different, it made most other things melt away accept for one feeling.
