Bastet watched as things were replaced and her anger softened some as she looked to Cymarron, "You are not the only one to blame, but impressive."
Her look however went stern again as she watched Aurahkah. Was winning the battle not enough? She sighed, "I will guess that it is magic gone bad. How are you sure he does not mean it?" She believed it, but her curious mind her to be certain, "And where is he?"

Hands clasped together, her left fidgeting with the bracelet on her right wrist. Aura was just hoping she didn't' get ripped apart. "Well you see, I wanted answers from Nelphean. He suggested we talk somewhere else so as not to wake you. We went to the library, and he well...got rather tranced looking and kissed me...twice. I know he doesn't mean it because the look in his eyes. And his words. He looked fearful of what he was doing, and he told me to get away from him. As for where he is...I locked him in the library, Eclipse is staying with him to take care of him right now."

A glare was smothered as she closed her eyes and clawwed at the marble floor. He kissed her, twice no less. Sounded like womanizing to her... but the look in his eyes and the things he said contradicted his actions.
Nope, winning a battle was never enough, after all a battle was only part of a war. And even after winning the war, things never stayed peaceful because history repeated itself, and fresh conflicts left another war always around the corner. She looked towards the library and thought about peeking in on him, however she changed her mind and remembered she could always find him with the pendant, as the battle showed her. They had not really talked yet anyway. With a forced polite smile she looked back to Aura, "I will be sure to talk to him later. I suppose I can always get Eclipse to shadow walk me in there."

She nodded. "Yes. I'm having Eclipse keep constant watch. If you want to see him...just let Eclipse know." She couldn't help but feel bad. The story did sound bad if one did not listen carefully. Averting her gaze some she sighed, she knew a forced smile, she'd been forcing enough of them lately. "Bastet...he's not like that anymore. You know that. He loves you Bastet." The words tasted bitter on her tongue. How could she say that when Aurahkah herself had just been burned by love. Or rather false love in her case. She shook her head and reached a hand towards Ecara, that was promptly grasped. "Come on Ecara, we need to fix our room up." With another sigh she turned from the two feline like creatures. "You know him Bastet. He would never mean to hurt you....excuse me...I have changes to make." So saying she made her way from the great hall and down her own to her room, Ecara in tow.
((Well, I need to do some things before my mother comes home. Be back around....6-7ish perhaps. Perhaps sooner, depends on how long it takes me. Later guys.))

Cymarron laid there, looking rather blankly at empty space..though his ears moved to catch what was said to him. He was at his phyiscal worst, lack of sleep and very little food had taken it's toll, and bringing the spirits to help fix the manor had taxed what he had left.

Bastet nodded, hearing what her friend said and holding hope in it. But aggressive? How aggressive? Aura had not really seemed hurt, akward, but not hurt. It seemed almost like they were not meant to be, they had the little problem where he was stuck in her head and she thought he was ignoring her, the dispairing battle which thankfully he lived through, and now this. Loving was hard, trials seem magnified and more difficult to get through instead of the cliche where love could conquer anything. It was all a huge test after all, but then she shoul not give up so easily.
After turning to look at Cymarron who was very quiet, she flopped back, lying on the floor deep in thought, still warring with herself. Mayhap it would be better to focus on another subject as she thought of Cymarron, "Tell me about your trials in the battle."

Cymarron, havng a little forced rest, looked over at Bastet.
"Cymarron was attacked by a thing that had chains coming out of it. the chains had blades and barbs...and it felt no pain. Cymarron tore into it..and it wrapped it's chains about Cymarron...the pain brought anger and rage. lack of sleep helped. we charged, brought it down..and it became frightened. tried to throw us away and run...then the Beast came free. after that we only know the images of our enemies, not why we fought. Except for Johnovan, who taunted us form Vik by calling us a house pet. we remember an impish thing that kicked our nose, that Vik had chains coming out of his back. we remember forcing a creature in Johnovan to come, a Beast of his own. he grew skeletal wings. we remember heairng Nailah call for help. then were were with Bastet and her elf..and had tried to help when the creature you were fighting exploded."

She had to pick through his words trying to picture what he said, and what she saw was not fun at all. It seemed that everyone had had their own problems and suddenly his seemed worse than hers. There were many things from this battle that had to be recovered from and dealt with. "You had a hard time, it shows a lot that you survived. Vik had chains coming from his back and called you a house pet? That seems crueler than him. Johnavon, however, I believe would taunt and have a hidden beast of his own. He can have quite the problem with others." Now that she could step back and analyze things, it occured to her to question something, "How did Nailah get there above us?" She sat up enough to look at Cymarron, "And how did you control the beast enough so that you could even try to help. I remember him wanting us to take down a barrier you put up, so that he could eat us." She laid back again as deep in thought as ever.

that answer was simple, as to how he and the beast came to a truce.
"Nailah. She reminds us of someone we lost to the viciousness of another. The beast loaned us it's strength of flesh, and let us keep control becuase we know how to use the spirits. once Nailah was certinly safe..the beast wanted control again. we did not allow it...or else it very well might have seen easy prey in the battle weary elf and Bastet."

"Hm, that is interesting, and there is no "might" about it, it would have finally been able to eat him like you have been talking about, though I do not think you could gain much from me. I am glad you got control of it." Pondering whether to go see Nelphean, she looked at the library door as if that would help her decide.

Nelphean opened an eyes slightly, and smiled, noting that Eclipse was still there, He really needs... Hey Aurora
What's wrong? Why are you so angry and sad, and excited and... and ... other.?
I really don't know... The elf cut the comminication off, and sat up and yawned. He flipped to his feat and paced about, very quietly, as though his feet did not touch the ground. He ran at the door, but ran up it instead of through, fliped in the air and landed on a bookcase inhumanly far away. "I don't do this often." He leaped from book case to book case without a sound, until he stopped infront of Eclispe, and hoped to the ground. Not a single sound. "Perhaps I shouldn't read these." The elf dropped sever large tomes on the ground, that had been cmpletly concieled while he jumped about.
The elf spung on his heels and walked about as silently as a ghost, and looked at the shelves of books... He took of one, a novel. "Hey, this book is about a man who is trapped in a prison unjustly, escapes and seeks out vengence." He smilled. "I am trapped good Shadow, traped as you are." He flipped about the room in a semi-playful manner, and stopped near another book case, and put down the novel. "That was a short read, what is next..." He looked at the wolf, and smiled. "I know a great way to have fun..." He crawled on his hands and knees towards the wolf... "Hey Sun Shadow, did I ever tell you you have beautiful eyes..." The elf smiled, very fiendishly.

"You sure you want to cut it that short?"
Aura turned from her reflection in the mirror, sharp short dagger in hand, to the spirit that was standing behind her. "Coban, how are things coming."
"Smoothly. We finished the inside, maybe a few little details and the like. Jaxom is finishing up outside. Remind me to give my thanks to Sir Cymarron for the help of his own spirits...made everything go all the much faster and smoother."
She turned from him, measuring the length she wanted in the mirror again. "I most certainly will. He sounds very upset about what happened."
"Let it be a little longer than that. And if he feels he should be yelled at for something, I would pick the way he stands. So...subservient. It seems rather cruel to have anyone stand like that, or be broken into a habit of such. No, longer than that."
"If you tell me to leave it any longer, then I will accomplish nothing. As far as Cymarron. I don't know what happened to him. He hasn't really said anything concrete about his past. I don't intend to force it." Gripping both blade and her hair firmly she yanked the, cutting her hair neatly so that now instead of the raven locks falling to her waist, they only fell to tap the top of her shoulder blades. "What you think Coban?"
"Perfect. Now...do you think it possible for me to leave now and rest a little. A spirit can only take so much restoration to his home before he grows weary."
"Oh stop being dramatic, go on." With a laugh, the spirit disappeared as Aura stood, shaking out her hair and taking a look at it's new length. "Not too bad looking at all." With a nod to the mirror she turned around to Ecara. "Come on darling, you don't need to be cooped up." Taking hold of the child's hand, Aura led them both from the room.
One ear flopped back. "You are a strange strange elf." He watched him jump about and the like. "And it is you who is trapped in here. I am merely to keep track of you." Then the other ear dropped back as Nelphean was now on all fours. "You are looking to get bit...aren't you Quicksilver?"

"I need some time to be alone... Their is no reason... No way... No... Run Eclipse." The elf had reached the wolf, and then crouched in a low, wolf like pounce, and then leaped at the Sun Shadow. "RUN!"

Eclipse merely snorted then invoked his own shadow powers, performing a sort of shadow walk maneuver. He stayed stationary but changed his form...so that when Nelphean leaped, he fell right through him and the only thing the elf landed on was the floor. Shaking off the power he stood and turned to look at Nelphean. "I was told to watch you...now, must I forcibly bind you like an animal?"

Cymarron smiled lightly.
"Cymarron would learn great thigns from Bastet. he woudl see Egypt through her eyes. experience all that you have. feel your loves, and pains and hates. learn all the languages you know. mastery of your weapons."
The he frowned lightly.
"Cymarron has experienced so many lives, while Cymarron has very little of his own. only his time as the Master's toy..then with Death Angel's pride as Tanisha's servant and friend. then here."
