"Scout's honor? When were you ever a scout? Nevermind that." She looked up from the table to him. "Anyway...back in Egypt, when I first became a thief, I had been on a raid with a few others. A sandstorm came along and we all lost our horses, supplies, and each other. I had been wandering around for about three days, no food, no water, and I was just so thirsty...I had heard from others that if you were ever stranded, you could live off your own blood for a day or two. I never believed it, but I figured I'd give it a shot. So that night I had sat down, slit open a wrist and took to drinking my own blood. Not a very filling thing mind you, but something to keep my mouth from going dry and to make me think I could keep going. And it did work, I eventually wandered into a town." She shrugged a moment, raising fingers to wipe at her lips, even though there was no trace of blood left. "Sorry for the long story..."

"hey...I ate a boy scout once..." Vincent stated stubbornly before lifting his glass from the table and taking a drink. He returened the glass to the table and folded his hands ontop of eachother as he listened" I tried something like that once, when a mage named Desmond Demora trapped me in an pocket outside of this dimension for a a few years...but then again, I did go quite insain sitting alone in a bubble for that long"

"You ate a boy scout....the poor child." She laughed then took a drink from her own glass. "Now about this trapped in a dimensional pocket thing, I believe you failed to mention that little fact when we were summarizing up to this point. Care to enlighten me?" She propped an elbow on the table, resting her head against her hand as she watched him again.

"Very well, Where to start....I was 1896 years old and I was in Germany researching rumors of a very powerful and evil book known as the Necronomicon, all the previous owners of the book were said to have contracted a strange disease and died horribly before ever finishing the tome. well as you know I am a vampire so I figured I could finish the book because...well whats a disease gonna do.. kill me...." Vincent let out a small chuckle"The only catch was that the book with only four originals left, one in the British museum, the second in The Harvard library, the third in Arcam Masatusis and the fourth was in possession of a man named Desmond Demora who lived in a large Mansion in Germany, perfect I thought, I would go after it, kill the old man and take the book after all it was the closest. So I set out, and it only took me a few days to get there. I simply strolled in like I owned the place. The old man was nowhere to be found on the first floor so I headed Down into the basement to check there first, What I found at first was not what Was looking for, a large chamber fulled with skeletons and rotting corpses of all kinds. with a little searching i found a grand library unlike any I have ever seen to this day. Thousands upon thousands of books so as you can imagine it took me a few houris to sift threw the legions of tomes but eventually I found it, It was huge at least 80lbs. and its pages were written on something that I content identify at the moment, human skin. Truly a frightening book. Just as I was about to take my leave a voice rang out form behind me, a voice that seemed to full the room' who are you?' it said and of cource I did not answer. I ignored it and made my way to the stare case, When I got back to the top floor all the furniture was missing except for a single chair that sat in the middle of the room holding an elderly gentle man. The man was quite insane and began to spout something about me being a zebra. I was just going to ignore the fool and leave with the book when the doors slammed shut. I whipped around to look a the old man who was standing now leaning heavily on a Cain muttering something under his breath. The next thing I knew I had been speared threw the torso by a large vine that had sprouted form the ground below me. A wound that would have proven fatal to a human, but to me it was a mere inconvenience. I pried myself from the spike and a great battle ensued between me and the old man. It became evident very quickly that neither of us was able to kill the other, him with his magic and me with my physical ability's. In the end He had stricken me with a bolt of lightning and when my sences recovered a moment later i was trapped in a bubble surrounded by nothingness."

"That's quite a tale. If I didn't know you, I wouldn't believe you. But seeing as I do know you." She shrugged and finished off her wine. "Well you got more of a fight out of him than you did me, that's good exercise." She sat back in her chair, once again brushing her hair from her eyes. "So stuck in a bubble of nothingness with only your own thoughts to keep you company." She studied him for a moment. " And no, you're not insane. You don't even look insane." Aura ran a finger around the rim of her empty glass and licked her lips, still tasting blood, before asking her next question. "So how did you get out?"

" I spent many a year trying to figure a way out, but the answer seemed hopeless and I just gave up with thinking, my mind snapped, I wanted out and I wanted out right then. I began to just hit the bubble, just rakeing at it with my claws, pounding at it with my fists , I was just blind with anger. I swung at it for three days strait before it finally began to crack, The bubble that Desmond Had said to be unbreakable was cracking under my fists. I hammered away at it until it finaly shattered around me spitting me out violently in the living room of Desmond's old abandoned mansion. I tore that building apart from the roof to the basements with my bare hands hoping to find him but I found was room upon room fulled with skeletons. For the next three years I vented my anger at being locked up for one hundred and fifty years by searching for Desmond and killing any poor smuck who so much as annoyed me before a wise old woman helped me back to man I am today, Not too evil, Not too good, just Vincent Voladu. But that is a story for another day" He said with a smile

"Leave it to you to be the first at things. First to catch an uncatchable tomb robber, first to break and unbreakable bubble. Again I must stick with my word for you. Impressive." Although her glass was empty, Aura still raised it. "And I raise my glass to the woman who tamed the rage in you." She let a sweet smile break out before laughing softly as she sat down her glass.

Aura raised a finger as if scolding him. "Almost unstoppable only when thrown off by a handsome face with a quick wit and attitude about him."She stood for a moment, glass in hand and made her way to the sink, filling it with water and dropped the glass in. Pouring some soap in the water, she looked over her shoulder as she washed dishes, but kept up conversation. "What I've done? Not too much if you ask me. Haven't had as much excitement as you. Traveled a little, couldn't find a place I liked. I ended up in this low part of my life. I mean if you followed my thoughts, well I thought I had nothing left. I suppose that's how I ended up here. Me and Eclipse had fought and I was just running through the woods in a blind rage really." She laughed for a moment. Hadn't Vincent used that description earlier? "Ran smack face first into those gates out there." She chuckled again. "I've become rather dull haven't I?"

Aura shrugged, draining the dishes, rinsing them off then taking to drying them. "Myself, really." She was silent for a moment before she continued. "I though, 'Aurahkah why do you insist on putting yourself through all this when you know you can just slip off that little piece of jewelry and let it end?' The answer to myself, I was afraid. Not of death but of losing my soul." She laughed slightly. "You know how us Egyptians are about our souls. Anyway, Eclipse got angry at me for being angry at myself, and we just started yelling at each other." She sighed. "The memory gets hazy after that. I made a swing at him with my sai, he lunged at me, he said he wouldn't let me be alone, I said I didn't need him. So I just ran really...took knocking into iron gates to calm me down."

Bradwen sat straight up and opened his eyes, proceeding to stand and brush himself off as if he had just tripped instead of spending two days out cold with a gaping hole in his arm. He looked down at his arm and wondered why it was a little sore, just remembering his encounter with the dead tree and fence the other day. His sleeve no longer existed as part of his shirt, instead just ripped grren strands and some blood-soaked spots were all that was left. Hearing a slightly loud flapping in the wind, he looked up to see the remainer of his sleeve still spiked on the fence, thrashing about like a small flag.
"Hey! I need that to fix my shirt!" Bradwen said, jumping and thrying to catch the sleeve.
It was obviously too high for Bradwen to reach, so he began to climb the fence the best he could, slowly inching his way toward the tip. As he neared it, he reached up and grabbed it, grinning as he let go of the fence. The distince ripping sound was heard again, followed by a loud thud in the mess of rotted wood below the fence.
"Got it!" Bradwen said, rubbing his head.

In the blink of an eye Vincint stood behind her, his hands wrapping gently around her wrists and raising the arm off to the side of her" so if you take off this little trinkit time catches up with you" he said inspecting the bracelet, " Strange that one little object can hold so much power" he stated releasing his light grasp on her wrist and going back to cleaning the kitchen." where did you come to poses such an item?" he asked

Aura had stiffened a little at the action. Not too many people had their hands close to the engraved gold. She took a breath and released it slowly, as she finished drying the dishes before speaking again. "My father's temple...or rather my own. Well it wasn't mine at the time, I had already been given the boot years before. I had gone back thinking maybe I could find something to pawn off. I did find something, this, but I didn't have the sense to pawn it off did I?"
