"Damn." The fallen said as he was unable to take imediate control over the whole body, he did have control over the first two things he grabed hold... "You win this round, but the next time we meet, the gloves are off."

His growling stop as he could feel the energy flow. Yet then he relaxed, all he had to do was monitor himself and he would be fine. A loud bark and he charged Nelfien as Nelfien did him, running low under his sword and legs before twisting and leaping onto the elf's back.

Ecara shook her head at the tingling sensation she felt...she didn't like it and it drew a whimper from the child, who gripped tighter at Aura. "Mommy!" A hand to her hair and ears calmed her only the slightest bit.

The murder was used to having things on his back, was used to the pain of claws raking him, was used to all the evil tha man could inflict upon him. Poor Eclipse picked a bad spot to be. Nelfien's left arm grabed the shadow creature, and the sword Durandal tried to cut up and into the belly of the wolf. Presing the edge of the blade to the chest of the creature was the mark, and the trust backwards was the second strongest arm movement. The murder was going to kill the wolf first, and the woman second and keep the child. Durandal knew that the child would make the host more easily controlled.

Johnavon finished sealing the barrier to keep his possesor in, rather than out and waved his hand to break the wall of force that still lay blocking the hall. Steady steps carried him out into the main room, where everything was clearly being ravaged. "So the pet isnt so obediant I take it!" He shouted out, still smiling as he watched the beast do battle with Vik.

Eclipse took the blow of the sword, letting it enter his chest and rip through him to reemerge from his back between his wings. At the same moment he slammed his barriers up to Aurahkah to prevent the transference to keep the secret. The wolfs braced his back paws on Nelfien's leg, claws digging in as he practically hung there impaled on the sword.

Again she wanted after him. And a bolt was made but she was snagged harshly by the arm. "No!' Whirling around she sunk her teeth into the arm that held her, drawing blood this time.

Aura hissed from the bite but held tight. She was torn. Aid Eclipse or fend off Ecara from Nelfien to prevent her to get in a situation she didn't need to be in. Her gaze wandered over to Eclipse who was looking bad but really fairing fine. Then she hissed again as she felt fangs pierce another place in her arm. "Ecara stop it!"

The hellcat that attacked Cymarron's legs was knocked away by the pulsating force. THe cat measured his loyalty to the situation and decided that it was best just to leave, and leave he did.

Mephetos wathced the battle with glee until the fallen became trapped within the wizard, the little creature said a few choice words, and then attacked the wizard, swating at him with short claws and lashing at him with the tail... If only the Iskander would come...

Nailah opened groggy eyes and looked around. Damn...she had been drunk. Really drunk. She sat up in bed and looked next to her to see Tyler still out like a light. The little boy had been sleeping for quite some time due to the sleeping spell she had placed on his small form. She looked at her dressing table and saw two bottles of wine. She wandered over and found that they were empty. I need more wine....

Estraledge braced himself for the attack, but it was still too strong. He reverted himself back into a spirit and dove back into the crystal. "Crap." was the only thing he could say as the giant best flung him around. Vik managed to wiggle his way out of his grasp and was thrown 10 feet across the hall by the momentum from the fling. Something inside him suddenly sparked and two huge wings burst out of the left side of his body. They started flapping by themselves, carrying a shocked Vik to a gentle landing. "What the...where the hell did these come from?" he said, staring at the wings. "Forget about them, you've got bigger problems!" The voice in his head was right. Whatever this creature was, it was no longer the Cymarron he knew. He reached into his pack and pulled out two knives.

One scent left, the invisible one. another entered, the male that Cymarron had not like to begin with, the one that called him a pet. He roared loudly, and kicked at Vik as hard as his clawed feet could.

"We are not a PET!"

Again the sheer force of rage caused a backlashing wave of dark spiritual enery to fire out in a wave off him. John was only making him further enraged, and Vik was suffering the consequences.

Uh huh, not Khenu. The noises from outside came to her, almost strong enough to knock her down. Horror striken, even with everything she had seen over the years, this battle scene cut at her because it was at her home. General Tallfellow and his army that she had thought were so charming, were in ruins. As the battle played on more, it all seemed hopeless, and Nelphean was no where to be found. Others fought for him however, and were losing.

The warrior woman had a limit. Almost lethargically she took a few steps forward to the edge of the battlefield. With no other thoughts in her mind but her elf and the others fighting, she grabbed the pendant that had not left her neck since he placed there. The blank look on her face turned to one of rage as she yelled. "Nelphean! You said that you would never leave me! That you would always be here, and that you would always be close to my heart! Well, I love you. And damnit I want you to be here beside me, with me for as long as we have! Which I believe is beyond today! So where are you?" She held onto the pendant as if it held his life and the tears started to roll. A few dropped down and fell onto the pendant putting part of her with him.

The imps tiny attacks did little but amuse Johnavon as he danced a bit to evade the tiny claws and tail. Then his heel came crashing down on the poor thing in one powerful stomp. "This is getting just sad." He bent down and picked up the imp in one hand, snickering at the poor thing as he withdrew a silver cross from around his neck and pinned it against the things skin, watching gleefully as it burned into demon flesh and he tied the chain of his necklace around its body. "Now sit. Wait." I'll deal with you later." He threw the imp back down the corridor from which hed come and the moment he slammed into the floor, a seal burst into being around him, holding the demon inside for later use.

A gentle knock on Nailah's door came taping. Then the door slide open, with the cocky elf standing tall smiling. He walked in quietly, "I have found a gift for you, Nailah." Nelphean closed the door gently, and whispered to Nailah, not wanting to awaking the boy who was fast asleep. "I made it to cheer you up some." He held out a palm sised cloth wraped gift, tied with a bow. The blue silk cloth was smooth, and soft. The ribbon was a white lace, with minor decorative paterns."It is a pretty gift." Keeping his thoughts and emotions keenly like Nelphean's, the devil smiled warmly, like a loving friend.

Nailah smiled at Nelphean. "Thank you my friend. I know you've been feeling bad because of the whole thing with Alex but I'm fine." She eyed the parcel in his hand and took it from him still smiling. My last gift cursed me... She set the box on her dressing table and nodded to the empty bottles. "I need wine. Care to accompany me to teh kitchen, Nelphean?" She was afraid to open the box even though Nelphean was a good friend. She would come back and open it later...after she was drunk again. She looked back at Tyler and turned waiting for an answer.

Vik braced himself for the attack, his wings folded across him, absorbing most of the punishment dealt by the wave. The kick, however, sent Vik flying backwards once again. "That's it..." Vik struggled to get back to his feet, "I've had..." Eectricity began forming around his hands. "Enough of this!" He held both hands above his head and concentrated, even though he had no idea what he was doing. A small vortex of clouds appeared over Cymarron and the area the hellcat was in. From within it, there was a small flash of light as three lightning bolts struck down around them.

The pendent around Bastet's neck grew warm, Hey hun, I am.. busy..garden...tree..sword...lake... And then the mumbled message stopped. The pendent glowed a strange blue, the same as Nelphean's eyes, and an arrow appeared within the jewel, pointing towards the manor... towards Nelphean.

The battle raged, General Tallfellow rallied his troops, calling out the old inspirational phrases, which seemed to work wonders on the moral. Many of the wounded struggled to stand, and even a few who were nothing but wax tried to make the lines. Many of the 20 000 lay wounded or dead, 5 000 remained strong enough to fight.

Talon lay on the ground, bleeding, holding his sides close to him. He had fought that dragon thing as long as he could, but the fiends claws found a hold, and tosed him to the ground. Claw hasn't left Talon's side since, allow the wizard Kellendel to fight the air bourn plague. Claw held his side, where the fire singed his skin...

Rain fired his cannons into the massing army, until they seemed to end, he breathed lightly until both treants were casually tosed over the wall. Then the mech pilot found himself freeflying backwards, over Bastet, and into the manor, and slide across the floor until he stoped right before he would have crashed into the wall... "WHat the hell was that?"

Xail defended his mage with all the the strength he could muster, and the fight seemed to be going well. Only the candles seemed to have suffered casulties, and the other seemed to be holding out. Then the mecha went flying, leaving behind a enourmous biped devil, with a mouth the size of a small horse. The Monk looked at the creature and doupted any chance he would have with the thing, until the pillar of fire crashed into it, charring it with holy energy. Xail praised everything that the son of Nelphean was here...

Kellendel traced more runes, fired more spells, and slaughtered more devils. But then, he suddenly found himself tired, without magic. He shruged and flew back down to the main ground noded to Bastet and walked into the manor. Xail followed after him, "Well, I am spent. No more spells for me today. Whoa, that was amazing. Have you seen Nelphean, who that was great, hey where is he?"

General Tallfellow saw the enemy, a large dinosaur like being, a denizen of emense nature. He charged, he charged with everything he had. The sound of his trumpet echoed as the candle stick armada made its final salute. They fell onto the creature and brought him down, each candle doing his part in the great wave that was the army. The beast did not go down without a fight, he released a burst of fire, and melted most of the candles. As the flames were about to fall onto the general, many of his closest soldiers literally jumped into the flames to slow down their advance. His elite guard was swallowed up by the flames, and his first contingent was next. Not a single flame licked General Tallfellow, as his soldier laid their lives down for him. "Viva..." Tallfellow fell into tear over the loss of life, 4000 of his 5000 remaining soldiers fell fighting the beast, but he lived.

The battle unwinded, and only the defenders remained.
