If I didn't know better I'd swear that Bush is still governing Texas. Even though he is, technically.

*Presidential Talk*
Bush: Hello, my fellow Texans...
Person: Um, it's "Americans" sir...
*long drawn out speach*
Bush: So goodnight, and God bless Texas.
Person: Um, it's "God Bless America" sir...
Bush: God bless America, too!

I don't really care who is in office.

I do, because if I continue to live in the US, my lifestyle could be affected by who is in office.

I have to agree with Draxe. And Gate, your apathy is what affects America unfortunately. Republican leadership is a failed experiment, and I wonder why people continue to perpetuate a backward ideal.

No earthly idea, I think the whole regime should be changed.

Hey now. That is something I heard off the radio. I didn't make it up. And really, I do like Bush. I like him better than what the alternative would have been. I respect him for his beliefe in a God, and standing up for what he thinks is right.

I respect him as a person, but he's going about achieving his goals in the wrong way.

It's good to have a firm stance in reaching your goal. But following it blindly when clearly it is failing, is not a firm stance, it's just plain idiotic stubborness.
Religious faith and belief in God is good, but expressing and equating democracy with the Christian God is just plain zealotry, reflective of the ancient Crusades of the early 13th-15th centuries. And if we look at that, they failed and lost in the long run.
