She hugged him back and mocked his laugh playfully. "Ha, really? No Cymarron, you were the one that mentioned wishing, so maybe it is on your mind." She flashed a smile at him.

To Vik she gave a frown, "Well you look quite better now. And that is good, restraint could help you in the future, you never know." Like she really showed much restraint on anger, she had yelled at Aura.

Eclipse was listening intently, but more focused on Bastet, she hadn't greeted his affection or given her own so generously in quite a time. Things were starting to feel normal again, and now no secrets held them all back. Giving a shake to his fur he let one ear drop back in lazy fashion.

Aura's mind had been wandering from them all. To Soulforge's recreation mainly. Then it was pulled back by the ever present voice of Eclipse in her head, reminding her to snap back to where she needed to be.

"Likewise, im sure" he grinned evily, he lifted a hand and lifted a small statuette off of the matle with his mind. "Telekinesis, bloody useful." he remarked.

Cymarron watched with rapt attention. now that is a neat trick. wonder how that one would taste if he got to eat him...he subconciously licked his jowls at the thought.

"Unpleasentness could end in Cymarron getting a free meal, yes? Cymarron woudl be most pleased to gain that little trick. Speaking of unpleasentness...where has the winged female been? I do hope she's not gotten anything worse then that nasty little tummyache."

Ears were twitching of his own accord, causing him to counter attack by nipping at Bastet's own ears. "Nor do I. And the bond child was sleeping last time I left her in her room. I swear seh sleeps like a rock...and is quite cranky. Of course she gets that from Aurahkah."

She rolled her eyes. "Any habit you deem bad, you blame on me." Her look then went to Cymarron at his comments. Eclipse was right, it was all about hunting with him. But she dismissed it, she had seen worse traits.

Nailah looked down into her glass of wine. She had no idea how long she had been just standing there looking out the window. The awful scene replayed itself over and over again. She couldn't help but see it so clearly in her mind. "He's really and truly gone." She thought of the comfort Nelphean had tried to bestow upon her and smiled. It was now when she needed friends the most. Now was the time when she needed to keep and open mind and heart. But it was so hard.

Nailah droped her glass in the sink and walked slowly back to her room. She probably should eat something but the only thing she wanted was cheesecake and it was too painful right now. She had a feeling wine was going to be her new best friend. She entered her door and saw a small package on the floor. Picking it up she pulled out a letter and a chain with a medallion at the end of it. She scanned the letter and a small smile drifted over her lips. Elias. She reached up and looped the chain around her neck. It was a beautiful medallion and she would be sure to thank him for it later. For now she needed sleep. She curled up next to Tyler and fell fast asleep.

Nailah found herself on a road. Not one source of light beyond the muted illumination of starlight leaking through the dense cloud cover overhead. It was as if she hadnt just gone to sleep at all, standing outside in the middle of nowhere, only one thing was noticably different. At her side was a new knife in place of her old ones and no other weapons. From its position, it wasnt clear but it seemed that its dark curved blade was spattered with fresh blood and further stained with older crimson.

The first few drops of rain fell from the sky, hitting her shoulders and splattering in half shallow puddles around her. It was only seconds before it fell in torrents. Thick layers of heavy water falling from the sky and hitting her with gathered force. A loud splash behind her gave away the existance of an approaching person. Thunder crackled overhead and lit the area for a moment, showing him with tears in his eyes and an impressive knife in his hand, staring at her with hate. The man didnt waste time, no words, and he came at her angrily with his hands trembling on his knife's hilt. Nothing but hate and fear in his heart.
