"I know I ain't dreamin'. Half this s**t I've experienced in life couldn'ta been made up in a thousand years. Now shaddap about spooks, a'right?" Huck asked, annoyed. He HATED being told what to do. Add on the lack of sleep for three days prior to now made him slightly worn out . . . and a hair cranky. Walking alongside Senna he fumbled in his pockets for a toothpick.
"This carny stuff's gotten t' yer head. Ghosts, spooks. Some'un probably put that tent over an air shaft." he said, trying to think the logistics.

Masquerade! Paper faces on parade. Masquerade. _______________________________Hide your face so the world will never find you...Nathaniel He quietly looked down to the piece of turkey which was being held out to him. As if he were the cat, he carefully stepped forward and cautiously reached his hand out. He plucked the meat from her hand, all the while watching her. Once he obtained the meat, he rasped a "Thank you," backing up slightly before turning and slipping out into the night again. He let out a large breath, suddenly shaking with nerves. Well, that was extremely nerve wracking. Meat in hand, Nathaniel felt his way across the dark carnival to the next tent, the large one, with his bare feet. It had a light in it, and he assumed his kitten would try to at least stay warm somewhere. He made his way to the opening and took a step inside. Masquerade. Every face a different shade. Masquerade._______________________________ Look around, there's another mask behind you...

Edwin Jarvis Clarly looked over at Bobby.
"I suppose we got new people?"
((Victoria would pass Nathaniel on her way out of the tent, otherwise I think she would stay until told she could leave... ^^; Considering how Siff is.))

Bobby let Clary answer the masked 'newcomer', realizing that she had not yet met him. The boy watched as Nathaniel left the tent practically as quickly as he appeared. Bobby looked down, averting his gaze away from Clary. So the kitten's missing? It wasn't unusual, for things (or people) to go missing around here...
"...did you meet Huck?"
Now that the acrobat thought of it, she hadn't been around for a lot of what happened last night.

Clarly shook her head as she took another bite of the turkey leg.
"Nope? Is it a snake,it sounds like a snake."
She said in words watching Bobby.

Grace raised a brow as she rolled her eyes. "Yeah cause not talking about them makes them cease to exist." She flipped her hair as she neared the last corner to midway stepping out from the long narrow and winding path between the tents and ropes. Grace stepped out letting go of Senna's hand brushing off her dress looking to the big top. A layer of mist shrouded the tent almost completely from view leaving a faint, but large tent like shape in it's place. The night lights started turning on out of the darkness where the tent they had entered was nearly light.
"Follow me, you two must go to the big top for something."
"We need to go to the big top? There isn't a show... I still think we need to find a way out."
Senna hopped out in front of Huck her hair almost in a friz. She was in bloody Britain and she's never had hair frizz like this before. The humidity didn't seem as much but it was sure cold. Not to mention it had become dark again. Hadn't it only been an hour? The lights started turning on, they weren't as glorious by any means as the ones she first saw when she entered the carnival but they were enough to see what was not clouded by fog.
"Look, let's head to the big top okay."

Bobby shook his head. So he was right, Clary hadn't met him yet.
"Huck's a new knife-thrower that joined last night. I'm.......... Siff doesn't want me to talk to him."
He looked away again as Clary continued her meal. The ringmaster probably wouldn't like it if Bobby told her that he was practically forced to shake on it; he could not talk to Huck, OR Senna, and at the moment this was one of the things that grieved Bobby the most, along with what had happened after the handshake...

Clarly paused, gazing over to Bobby finishing her food.
"I See."
Clarly said slowly, believing that Mr.Siff name bring bad luck.

"An' talkin' about it makes h'ain'ts exist. Riiiiiiight." Huck said, apparently they woke up a snarky version of the good-natured hick. "I also gotta make sure nobody scrapped my bike fer parts." he said, more like half thinking in his head.
Perhaps there was some truths to this "ghost" crap? Nah . . . no such thing. Siff's just tryin' to make sure he gets his time t' bully us all. he thought.

Grace rolled her eyes "unbelievable" She headed towards the big top with the two following behind her.
"What are they going to scrap a bike in here for?... There is nothing here."
With her last sentence she sounded a little upset. There was definitely something she felt.
Senna looked up at Grace's comment.
"But we're here?"
She followed behind Senna and waited for her to comment back. Something... It felt to her as though a long moment of silence came after she asked Grace. Something in Senna's gut told her that Grace didn't want to talk anymore. Almost making her feel as though it was her fault.
"Grace?"

"With the asylum lettin' people out on holiday here, someone's gotta be nuts enough to scrap it just fer a gag." Huck said with a sneer. He could make out the big top in the distance. His hand was slowly going towards one of the knives he had. If this was Siff calling, he was gonna scare him a little bit.

Senna approached the big top when Grace opened the canvas door. Senna looked inside and what was usually a bright tent was rather dark except on spot in the room where it appeared Siff was sitting. Senna walked inside despite how uncomfortable she felt, with a slight looming fear of something. In a second she bumped into Nathaniel's back not seeing him in front of her in that dark tent.
"Bobby? Not Bobby..."
She looked down to Nathaniel with an apologetic look.
"I'm so Sorry"
Grace looked back to Huck and gestured for him to enter. She then waived her hand at Nathaniel to leave the tent.
"Come on Nathaniel, we can go do some work while these two talk with Mr. Siff. /Please./"

Around that time, Huck already had his hand on one of his throwing knives. Siff even THOUGHT about being a bully tonight and Huck (unaware that those "hokey superstitious s**t" he passed off earlier was TRUE) would make it the last thing Siff ever saw . . . save for the knife lodged between his eyes.

Senna looked back to Grace with a worried look. As though she was felt guilty of something but didn't know what yet. And Siff couldn't have possibly known that they went into that booby trapped tent.
"Grace are we in trouble?"
She asked politely trying to not make a mess that may be there any bigger.
Grace answered Senna back with a quieted voice.
"Just know that I'm relieved to not be the one having to talk with him. He wants just /you/ and /Huck/ to talk to at the moment and I would do it while he's being patient."
Grace was almost begging Nathaniel to leave with the tone of her voice, even without speaking to him directly. She noticed that Siff had Nathaniel's kitten but didn't say a word in hopes of keeping him away from Mr. Siff.
