The Catgirl adoption home's sparring grounds was deadly quiet, even the wind had stopped moving. It was if the very ground itself felt the awsome power that was aprroaching. High above the sparring grounds, the fallen angel Lazaraus Blackthorne floated amogst the clouds. By his side as always was his companion, Kimiko. Her glistening white angel's wings where in harsh contrast to Lazaraus's owb raven black ones. For a moment neither of them spoke, the sweat which had formed upon Kimiko's brow told of the nervousness which floated within her stomach. Placing one slender, delicate hand upon Lazaraus's massive shoulder she spoke softly with a soft tinge of fear in her voice. "Lazaraus are sure about this?"She tried to hide the fear, but her trembling voice said it all. "You should not worry, its only a test." Lazaraus said calmly as he began to float towards the ground. "Everything is going to be all right." he laughed as his feet tounched down, sending up into the air a massive cloud of dust, spewing in all direction from the massive power that now surged through his system. Yet, Kimiko could not shake the felling the dread that had overcome her, as she touched down beside him. She still wasn't sure if his body was truly ready for what about to come, but Lazaraus had always been a stubarn full, who could not take no as an answer. "Prepare yourself mon amie." Lazaraus said in an omnious voice, as he slowly removed the really jacked up shirt that he had been wearing, to reveal his massive barrel chest, and the large black raven that was tattoed upon it. "That tattoo still scares the crap out of me."Kimiko giggled as she closed her eyes and her clothes began to shift around her, until they not her usual, red dress, but blood red armor and a unique looking scepter in her hand, which resembled some kind of archaic Aztec serpent god. "Now we shall see, how good this new powers trully are." Lazaraus said as he closed his eyes and slowly began his chant, his body soon began to glow a strange indigo tingge black, not to mention the raven's eye seemed to come alive.

It had already been several minutes since Lazaraus had begun his chanting but already it was quite obvious that something very powerful was about to happen. The raven tattoed upon Lazaraus's chest was glowing, almost asif it about to jumo from his owner's chest. Lazaraus shot his eyes open, there now burning red, the power that he had gathered was not pouring from his outstraetched eyes. Lazaraus's chanting began higher more fevered, his voice biulding into a fevered pitch. "Realse!" Lazaraus screamed, with a voice so powerful that it shook the very groung beneath his feet. From beneath Lazaraus Lazaraus erupted a circle of flourescent indigo light. The circle began to grow and weave beneath his feet until it had grown 10ft by 10 ft and was made up of strange symbols, from both archaic Japanese and Aztec spells of power and entrapment. In instance the circle shattered into a million pieces of myraid light that vanished as quickly as they had appearead. The spell that had bound his other had been temporaly broken, he had released his darkness. A bitter shiver of utter fear ran down Kimiko's spine, this was the once thing that she had feared the most. She still was not sure if Lazaraus was going to be able to stop himself, but there was no longer any time to comtemplate, now was a time of action. Rather she liked it or not. "Gods help us."Kimiko ushered under her breath as she turned to face Lazaraus as the breaking of the magical seal finally took hold. Kimiko could not believe what her eyes were showing her, Lazaraus was in utter agony, the raven tattoo was now truly moving, flapping it black wings and screeching with a voice that could tear flesh, she covered her ears in utter voice, as Lazaraus screamed out in aganozing pain, as the Raven tattoo took flight, taking with it several layers of Lazaraus skin. The evil shadow of a bird let out one more horrying screech as it plunged head first into the ground disappearing into the very shadows around them. "Where the hell did he go?"Kimiko said in a nervous voice, as she looked around her, trying to find a single shadow amogst a sea of them. "I'm right here, Beautful!"came a voice from behind her, she turned quickly only to fell the painful sting of a fist slamming into her stomach, the strange thing was that the voice sounded just like Lazaraus's only it filled with a madness that she could never hope to comprehend.

*steps into the all to familar battle grounds and looks around the place with a blood lust that needed quenching. He proceeded around the arena and issued a challenge to any who felt they could beat him.*
