Hm! A casino, eh? That would be fun, but I would lose a lot of Gold. A LOT of gold. I made a donation to Gaia on...Thursday or Friday I think. So I should be getting my pet soon! Excellent...
Valdata mentioned weapons. Now THAT would be slick. I'd probably want a sword or a lightsaber. Or a staff. Or a bow and arrow... or... biggrin

Bonzinut Valdata, you just have to learn how to play. Its not that hard. There are some games that are pretty easy. Like the wheel of fortune game. That is pretty easy. No I'm not talking about the game show either. Ohh, okay. Is the game like the game show?

This case has gone too far. Unfortunately, she didn't have her wishes on paper, so that's why this whole thing has gone awry. Well, maybe not the only reason why, but that's what I understand, at least. My In-Laws decided to get a Living Will because of this case. So, at least it poses that question to everyone. "Are you ready in case something like this happens to you?" My mom-in-law put it rather well. She said she'd like to make her own decision, not some politician who has no right interfering in her life like that. Hear hear.

Valdata What's everyone's take on the Terry Schiavo(sp?) case? You probably wouldn't of heard it if you're not in the US. I don't like it. While I think that the parents truly love their daughter, I find myself thinking that they're being extremely selfish in allowing their daughter to live like that. I mean, from what I gather, her cerebral cortex has atrophied to the point where there's little, if anything, left of it. And the brain doesn't regenerate. I might not like the method of how they're letting her pass, but I believe they should let her go with dignity, and stop plastering those photos of her all over the landscape. (I won't get into how I laugh at the darker humor coming from the whole controversy. That's a rant for another time...)

Granted, her husband wasn't completely faithful throughout this whole ordeal, but he studied nursing to help her out! Have you ever read the comic, "Filthy Lies!"? They just did a strip about it a few days ago. Heck, it might have even been today.

I don't necessarily agree with all the material, but some of it is funny. Like the pictures of a few people razzing the protestors: one of my favorites is of a guy at the protest holding up a sign saying "We are idiots!", with a woman looking at the sign as if to say, "what the F**K?"

I guess it is getting too much coverage, but people are suckers for this type of stuff. Her parents encouraged her husband to see other people while she was in a coma/thing. I think when a person is brain dead or at least nearing it, then there isn't much that can be done and allowing the person to continue to live would only be torture for everyone.

Sorry to change the subject smile I just had two Gaia related questions that popped into my head, and I can't seem to find a forum about it.
1) How soon do you receive your donation incentive after it's cleared? Paypal emailed me yesterday saying that the transaction was complete, but nothing from Gaia yet.
2) I've heard of "Pink Links" but I haven't seen one. Is it simply a hyperlink that's pink? (I don't want to miss it! wink )
