I was thinking a candlelight dinner, violin music in the background, after dinner dancing, then, as the night grew late, taking you for a moonlit stroll, where I would whisper sweet nothings in your ear and hold you close. And then, if the mood got just right, I would propose to you, on one knee of course, that we have a mortal wedding and a mortal engagment.

Ade frowned. I was wanting to wait until after the first blood exchange, perhaps before or after the second...And I thought it was a charming idea...He added quickly after.

It takes three blood exchanges for you to be converted. I am trying to be patient with you Galiena. I want the conversion to be your choice. I feel bad mentioning it now, even, especially after your decision last night.

Ade hugged her tighter and kissed her forehead. No, it isn't shameful. It will hurt terribly, but it is a noble decision. After the first exchange, your senses will sharpen and you will have to learn to turn them down. After the second one, you won't be able to eat anything but a simple vegetable broth. Your body will reject all food and blood. It will be work for you to keep the broth down. I will be there to help you though. And after the third, your organs will reform and your body will rid itself of the poisons it has in it. The process can take anywhere from an hour to three hours. When your body is calmer though, I will send you to sleep and give you time to heal properly. I will even try to bear most of the pain for you during the conversion, though I fear I will not be able to save you from all of it...
