Elias stood there, he was not in shock he was not trying to ptotest the things that Shinga had said, they were all true Elias feared and he was hiding every since the moment that he had been brought back from the dead once more given the responsiblity to care for the lives of girls to which he was so sure that could accomplish. "Yes Shin I am hiding, I can't stand these fear that is overwhelming my heart, I do care, that is why Shrada took the girls, there is a darkness gathering at this manor and I am no longer the god that I once was, I never feared death, but now death is not the only thing that I fear. I don't deserve any of these I had to watch them die, I had to watch those that I cared for die, and then I died and my soul was banished into Miztlan a place of eternal suffering for all non-worthy Aztecs go, I brought back to help those girls, but I could protect the twins, and Enoch they gave there life for me and I could not save them, the only woman that ever loved me was shot by my own gun." he said as the tears flowed down his face in one instant, but in the next they stopped stopedd as if they had never benn there. "But as always Shinga you are right, I am scared and no longer care, I know not what you laid at my feet, but I have my ideas." he said as he once more slide against the headstone, his mind was beginning to be swallowed by the darkness again, but these time it was because he wanted that darkness to come, wanted to see her face once more, the girl with a name which he dared not speak for fear that the curse which flowed through his veins would consume her as it had done all the others he loved.

she growled, turning to face him.

"You think that it was easy watching you in that hell, and not being able to help you?! you think it was easy knowing when you died, and not being able to bring you back?! I stood there and watched that.....creature kill you, Elias Murieta. I was there. But I don't hide. And if you keep hiding, you're never going to live. you might as well still be dead, Elias. because what you're doing is killing you."

she turned again, unable to keep the sadness out of her voice.

"you're going to need those daggers Elias. they'll do you more good than they will me."

Elias let out a powerful roar, his body shifting in the shape of that mighty white tiger one of the many gifts that he had been given. He lifted the daggers from the ground, his skin was now burning as he touched them, the daggers were no longer his and those who touched them were burned by the massive powers which cursed through them. Elias launched at Shin, coming to rest mere inches from her feet as they dung slightly into the ground. "You don't get it do you, those daggers aren't mine anymore. I gave them to you, Elias Murieta the god died, and those daggers are now yours, keep them by, because I cannot even hold them in my hands, and yes Shin I ma dying, look at me!!! " he said as he tore open his shirt, to reveal a massive scar that ran the eniretiy of his chest, it was not a scar that had been there last night, but Elias knew why it was shoving, the wound was fresh, and blood oozed from it slowly and painfully. underneath the wound something moved it was tearinf through his skiin. "This is what is kiilling me the very thing which once gave me life, something went wrong, and now the parasite is back devouring my flesh, and the only man that could fix it died, so yes Shin I am dying, and that is why you must keep the daggers they are no use to a dead man." he said as he slung himself again the headstone the pain coming to him now in waves.

shin turned and looked, blue eyes emotionless.

"I know you are Elias. I've known for awhile. but theres nothing I can do unless you ask...."

her voice was dead, bnlnak, she migt not even have been alive, the way she was acting.

"Im still bound by the oth I gave your wife, elias murieta. I can't intervene unless you ask....."

her voice broke at the end, stattering her apathic facade, but only for a moment. that split second passed, and endless pain was instantly hidden behind cold blue eyes.

Elias eyes shifted in the darkness the pain subsided and he stood straight up, but there was someting wrong about the way he moved, as if someone else was inside of him if only for a brief instant. Whatever tears and emotions had been shed, they had been sheed by someone else, someone that thought the world no longer cared, but Elias was on the verge of boiling over from rage. "A oath to my wife? You, who once where a grimreaper of sorts, a necormancer, you put that cold face when you speak yet inside you heart breaks. Stop trying to hide, isn't that what you told me only moments ago? Don't give the advice and not listen to it, Shinga stop hiding bahind a mask of apathy, you feel just like the rest of us, stop trying to hide in the shadows, those of the manor they care more deeply for you than you will ever know, but you have to let them in. Yeah they are going to die, and sorry that I am to, and maybe just maybe one day you wil too, but me and the rest will be nothing more than memories, not even dust left in our plots, you speak to me of hiding, but you do it far better than I." he said the rage that was building now threathen to explode but Elias Murieta melted into the shadows of the cementry, cloaking himself in what little magic he knew, as the waves of pain started once more.

((Well I am off for now, as always it has been a pleasure and an honor, and tommorow the world will now the name of the woman that has stolen Elias Murieta's heart....ror maybe not...see you ladies later))

((hehehe okay. i gotta go anyway.)

she blinked, sitting sudenly, pulling her knees to her chest, and crying.

it was a weakness, shoing pain like that. there were few people she could trust, and just then she had realized, she had quit trusting even those she knew she could. she wrapped her tail around her ankles, staring at the ground.

he was right, even thoguh she didn't want to admit it. maybe.....

she frowned slightly, and leaned agianst the grave stone beside her, blue eyes staring in to nothering, as she thought, absently humming that song agian, though her ears didn't hear.

((And im out! bye bye all!!))

Cymarron sat up, breathing in the willow infused smoke, that lessened the pain. he thoughts drifted to other times. assassinating for the Master, killing the entire bloodlines of the harem girls to prevent any children of the Master seeking to claim him. the Keeper. the beast had been lossened on those hunts, though it had not it's present strength. it was when he made the deal with the icy feline demoness. power in exchange for service. power to topple the mighty death angel, the clan leader whom he hated. that was when the Beast as it was today had been born. and it ate of death angel, and became infinitly stronger. it was a blessing and a curse. a blssing to know that even agaisnt some thing that other might consider divine he coudl hold his own by giving the beast freedom..and a curse by what the beast could, and would do when free.

"Cymarron thanks the old one for his advice, Cymarron was accepted to the pack and the territory. Cymarron hopes they will never see the Beast again."

((and we are continuing again... sweatdrop ))

Niah waited a few seconds and absorbed everything that had been said. It was obvious the three of them loved to fight. They seemed to take innate pleasure in annoying the others. Although there was something Jaxom had said that confused her. "What did he mean about Coban? Why would it matter so much that she is taken?" She knew that Thobias was still in love with her and he had only confirmed the fact. She watched Jaxom leave and shook her head when he "melted" into his grave. She really needed to get used to the paranormal. It was an everyday occurance in the manor. She breathed for a few seconds as an overwhelming sadness came over her and she smelled something burning. It was a sweet scent though..not acrid like the flames usually were. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths willing herself to stay on her feet. Little by little she pushed the fear and sorrow into the deepest part of her soul...adn then it faded. She looked at Thobias and smiled weakly. "You're really very lucky you know."

He snickered. "Lucky? Why do you say that? Can't say I'm very lucky for a guy who died young or the way I did." She crossed his arms, continuing his weaving pattern of pacing among the stones before his path lead him back to Nailah. "And Coban...he only let's us stay with reason. No reason and he feels inclined to send you over, make you cross, and never allow you back. Why do you think only six of us are here?"

Nailah shook her head. "You are lucky. You have Lotus and Jaxom. The three of you fight like siblings and you have family. Family, Thobias." There was a wistful sound in her voice and she thought of those she loved dearly. "I mean I have a family up at the manor and I love them all...but sometimes I wish I had my real family too." She sat down and leaned against the back of one of the headstones. "How did you die? I've always wondered about that..." She looked at him and smiled. "So Coban lets you stay because you love Aurahkah. But now that she's taken you may not be able to stay anymore? I don't think Coban would do that...would he?"

"Miss your blood, do you?" He sighed then glanced to her. "And you don't want to lean up against that gravestone, he wasn't the nicest person in the world." Back to the original subject. "It's funny really, me Lotus and Jaxom, we're all a generation or more apart...yet we all see things so differently." Walking over to the angel statue his took a seat at it's base. "I died by an accident. I was never good with magic, but skilled with a sword. My mother thought I should learn my magics...like my ancestors wielded. I snubbed the idea, but then decided to try and half a** it. I decided if I learned high level things quickly, that would show her and she would leave me alone...long story short and in lay men's terms...I created an explosion by accident and that was the end of me." So saying he pointed to a gravestone off the the right, down a few rows. Then his mood seemed to become even more sober. "I...I don't love her...I used to...but not anymore..." He let himself trail off, not sure if he wanted to continue the explanation into it's Coban aspects.

Nailah jerked away from the headstone. Seemed there was no safe place to rest in the spot of the dead. She listened closely to what Thobias said weighing his words. She laughed once"I had a temple priest who used to tell me to do small things first. He always said attempting more than I was ready for would have disastrous consequences. I was impatient to learn and I often rushed. Luckily I did not have the same thing happen to me. She shook her head and felt the sadness again. "I do miss them. Sometimes it's like I can still hear my mother singing. And then I realize that she died over two thousand and some years ago. Sometimes I get so homesick it hurts. I see the rain and I long for the scorching heat of my home. It was brutal but I loved it. The Nile..." she stopped. "But I'm rambling. You say you don't love Aura anymore but everyone still believes you do. I might be a bit confused but how long have you known you no longer retained the affection you once had?" Niah wondered if he would answer her. She knew that for all honesty she was prying but she coudlnt help herself. She needed to understand, to know.

He sighed and stood up almost angrily. "I play the part to keep my place here. I still love her in family sense...but ever since Vincent came along, and I saw how happy she was and all, I just knew that I didn't love her like Vincent loves her anymore." He shrugged. By the Gods what was he admitting to this girl. "But, like I said, I play the part out of fear of having to leave. When I first died, and my spirit was brought here....that was when I met Coban, he was furious with me. Using my love for Ary then worked to keep me here...I wasn't ready to leave. And I'm still not ready, even after all this time." He laughed as if trying to lighten the mood. "And people think it's easier when you're dead."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 28, 2005 9:28 am

Nailah ached for him. There was something he needed. She looked at her hands then back at him. "I can understand that. She is truly happy with Vincent." A short pause then she brightened. "Wait I have it. If you were really good friends with someone at the manor Coban would have to keep you here too." She nodded. "Coban can be a softie when it comes to Aurahkah. So if Aura spoke up for you saying you were friends and they didn't want to see you go then he would let you stay and you wouldn't have to maintain the lie. I know you get teased horribly about it." She looked at him and grinned. "The question is who could you be friends with...?" She began to list people in her mind. Bastet. Nelphean. Elias. THere were so many...how was he ever going to choose?
