He waited until Ruuka got close enough slashing at Ruuka's side, all he could do was use tecnique over power.

*Following through with his first strike, though he missed, resulted in parrying Hyozan's attack. Ruuka redirected the broadsword and lashed for his chest*

Hyozan tried to jump back however his chestplate was scraped by the attack throwing him off balance for a moment.

*Ruuka seized the opportunity of his lost balance, launching at him again, lashing at Hyozan's uninjured arm*

Hyozan regained his composure in time to block Ruuka's attack the sparks flying from their blades as they clashed. He pushed off Ruuka and stared at him face to face he didn't blink once for that meant certain death.

*A hungry grin went over his face and Ruuka began to circle, redirecting his aim to find a vulnerable place to strike Hyozan could not defend easily. The tip of the sword dragging on the ground, creating a cricle as he orbited around like a wolf.*

Tch...I don't think I can last that much longer I need to bring the fight to him... Hyozan looked at Ruuka and charge not at him but he would be and swung his sword aiming for his thigh.

*Ruuka was able to evade, just skimmed by the blade at the gut when he jumped back. He jumped forth again, dragging up a strike to the enemy*

Hyozan didn't have enough time to jump back so he jumped to the side and rooled ot the ground to avoid contact. He rose to his feet quickly holding his blade up for a moment there wasn't much around just a plain open battle ground. "What did you say your name was?" he asked slowly.
