As it is, I think it'd take more to fix the freakin thing than to buy a new one. A new piano (depending on style and brand of course) will run ya something like 1 or 2k. And they can get very expensive very fast. We got ours for free from ... well... I don't know where to tell you the truth... eek

XD Maybe I should wish for one for my birthday, even though it's months away. 6 months exactly. Do you play?

^.^ I love the piano too. We've had one in our house since I can remember. It's an electric one, but it's full sized and with properly weighted keys (though not quite as hard as a Grand Piano).
I've been playing it since I was about 5 I think. Never had any lessons except for what my sister taught me. She took piano lessons while I took Violin. Unfortunately I gave up the violin a long time ago (and have been kicking myself ever since. . . I plan on picking it up again).
It's so relaxing.

Do you play? I used to play for about 5 years, but I never had the patience to sit and practice. I live in america, so that would be dollars. And letting them know you want it now, saving up and pitching in would be a fabulous way to get one.

I once had a small electric keyboard. I didn't play it much though. It is long gone since I never had the time or the patience to play it more.
Anyone ever watch Doris Day movies? I have seen them all from netflix I think. She could sing pretty good. smile I recommend the Orsen Wells movie she did, it was the best I think..a suspense, thriller movie.

^^; I practiced for many years and have managed to get myself to . . . well, he have "Grade 8" books here, they're pretty good for me. I can also play the Devil's Trill now! Albeit rather slow still.
But, I should mention here, I'm heading off to Japan in a few hours, so my posting will be quite reduced. I'll still try and check in when I can, but I don't have easy access to a computer this time.
So everyone have fun and stay in good health!

I'd be jealous if I wasn't floating on a cloud right now.
I'm going to another town to look at an apartment this weekend, and from the way things look, I get to stay at my friends home there. I've been wanting to meet her again for several months now. biggrin
