I maintain that I still need a job, so I can afford to move out with two of my friends. It's not easy for an 18 year old to get a job when he's had no previous experience. I can't even count on Work Experiecne because I quite after the first week. sweatdrop

I didn't do work experience at all. I probably should have neutral
That's the good thing about the Green Corps thing - I don't need any qualifications, plus, by doing the course you are getting several different qualifications, as well as money!
And it's only for 6 months too. Hooray!

There are a heap of jobs that don't require any previous expereince, but on paper anyone who has had experience instantly looks better than anyone who hasn't. And I live in the city, so there's a lot of competition for a job.

DNA_Guru WellzY Yeah, we had to do two weeks. I bet you got paid somewhat though >>; Well the State Law required the employer to pay a minimum wage of $5 a day, unless it was a government agency, in which case it was nill! I was lucky to get $10 a day instead of 5, so I still managed to get $50 for my 40 hours work. -_-

EmWah Eeeh the link works for me... Yeah sorry, it was something wrong with my server, nothing would load at all. It's working now. 3nodding Hmmm, actually sounds quite interesting, but too much effort for my part. Sure, I'd love to do something to help the environment. Give me the jist of it EmWah?

Well, here's what the one I'm applying for says: Quote: This project is based in two locations which have successfully engaged their communities in protecting and enhancing Indigenous vegetation and habitat for native fauna. The planned activities have been designed to provide participants with a broad range of environmental activities, including seed collection, propagation nursery, landscape design, to planting, Tuan, Squirrel Glider and Quoll surveys, build and install nest boxes for rare and threatened species, design and install interpretative signage for Gorge walk, plus track work. Anyway, through doing all this stuff, you get Conservation and Land Management Certificate One, or 2, depending on the project, plust First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety certificates, and you get money too. Money for learning! Hoorah.
