"You do realize im older than you, right?"
she chuckled, as Tularie stood, bowing slightly, and slipping out of the courtyard with a smooth reptilian grace.
shin laughed, shaking her head.

Elias could not help but smile at the young girl as she said these things. "Off course I realize that you are older mon cherrie, but what you rather that I call you the my old fox friend?" Elias said with a smile on his face. It seemed that the conversion was getting interesting.

"Or you could use my name."
she shrugged.
"It doesn't bother me, I just wondered if you knew."

"Well Shin, I would call you anything that you like, it would be my pleasure, after all you are my beautiful if not young friend." Elias said with a grin on his face.

"I believe you. It is good to maintain your honor." It was a good familiar sound to hear a purr from another creature that could hold a conversation with her. With an innocence she did not fake well she tilted her head to the side, "Curious, why I have no clue what you mean. Can anyone ever turly ease it much before my mind finds another thing to think about?" In the end a dangerous gleam showed through, "I might actually enjoy helping. Where could I find you so we can try out some torture ideas on your prey?"

"It doesn't matter what you call me."
she stood, brushing her jeans off, tail twitching.

Elias looked at the girl with a said look upon his face, he did not like hearing the words which came from her mouth. "There many things that matter in this world, regardless of how bleak it can get sometime dear, and from you words you make it sound as if our friendship is of no importance to you my dear." he said with a grin on his face, he that was not what Shin meant, but he wanted her to be in higher spirits than she was now. The night air was peirced by the sound of ringing cellphone, he had forgotten that he still had it in his pants pocket. He answered and his eyes grew wide at the voice that he heard at the other end. Elias looked to Shin and a smile grew upon his face, "It seems that you're going to have a chance to meet the girl with the good taste in perfume." He said as he hung up the phone. "I have to go, I must prepare for her arrival and the bad news that she carries with her." Elias said with a heavy sigh, he approached Shin and placed a kiss dellicaety on her cheek, his lips dangerously close to her own. Elias had never been one to kiss Shin but it seemed that old friends had sparked old habits especially when it came to gorgeous woman, then again perhaps Shrada was right, his mysterious was affecting him even around friends as old as Shin. "Take care, dear Shin and I hope that come tommorow I will find you in better spirits." he said with a sly smile on his face.

she stood there staring blankly at him as he left, hand over her cheek.
Never had he eher done that before. she sighed, and shook her head. maybe he was sick....
she shrugged, slowly walking back to her room, sitting down on the blanket on the floor, falling backwards in to her pillow, already half asleep.

Nailah opened her eyes and looked around the kitchen. She and Tyler had both fallen asleep it seemed. She had no idea how long she'd been there or where everyone had gone. She looked down at the sleeping boy and smiled tenderly. "Sleep little one. It will do you good." Gently she stood, careful not to wake him and moved slowly down the hall. He was not too heavy due to his small size and Nailah was no weakling. She had always been one to keep in shape. One never knew when agility was required. She walked into her room and laid the boy gently in her bed. Covering him she placed a kiss on his tallow head and walked slowly over to the window. She looked out and sighed. There was so much she needed to take care of. It seemed like everything was out of her control now.

"Cymarron made a den in the courtyard. it is underground, liek the trapdoor spiders Cymarron used to watch. Cymarron can be found there if not wanding about this manor.."
He scratched behind his ear, and around his collar.
"You are not good at hiding from a feline the curious nature in you. Cymarron must say he is curious about many here. Cymarron has never heard of 'egypt' and is curious about what that place is like. but we can talk much, Cymarron is certain."

Ecara's ear twitched as she listened to Bastet and Cymarron talk, though she could only understand half of what was being said. A lot made sense and then again didn't. So she contented herself continuing through the dictionary, now on the N's.
Lost in a moment of private silent conversation with Eclipse, Aura had tuned pretty much everyone else out, save for a watchful eye on Ecara. Conversation ending with the winged wolf she shook her head as if to rouse herself from the zone she had fallen in to. Seeing that Bastet and Cymarron in conversation she motioned to both Ecara and Eclipse. All three got up, leaving the two feline-esque creatures in the library to themselves. Turning from around the corner she shivered as she stepped through already occupied air space.
"You people never look where you're going do you? That's what? The fifth time that's happened to me. Never happened before, happening all the time n-"
"Oh stop it. That's what happens when you're in our condition dear." Rolling her eyes at Coban, Kali turned a look on to Aura, then her eyes fell to the child that had hold of Aura's hand. "Oh she's so darling..." She looked a moment between Aura, Eclipse and the child. "Do I really need to ask or are you somehow going to explain this?"
Coban was studying Ecara already. "Yes, an explanation would be most helpful to explain the little girl who looks like you and Eclipse."
Eclipse gave a snort, and shook out his fur and feathers. "Coban, Kali, this is Ecara. She's a bond child. A product of a mixing of soul energies, namely from me and Aurahkah." His look turned down to the child who was studying Coban just as much as she was studying him. "Ecara, this is Coban and Kali."
Ecara gave a wave to both of them. "Hello." She twitched her ears, clasping her hands behind her back and rocking on her heels.
Aura smiled at Ecara then up to Coban and Kali. "She is a cute one isn't she? But she's a smart one I have to say. Only three days old and already reading. She's starting to learn to speak in sentences as well. She has a few of her own unique qualities."
Kali crouched down to the Ecara's level, the little girl coming right over, seemingly not fazed at all by the ghosts. "Absolutely darling."
"By the way....what are you doing up here. Seems rare that you come for casual business." She crossed her arms. "So what's the matter this time?"
He smiled at her. "Nothing wrong this time. Just making rounds."
"You make rounds?"
He shifted as if he was physically shifting his weight from one side to the other, then sniffed adn gave her one of those looks. "Yes."

She shrugged, "Why hide it anyway? You get nothing done and learn nothing by hiding questions. I am sure we will talk a lot, and you simply must learn some about Egypt, the poeple developed some interesting concepts about things." She watched as Eclipse, Aura and Ecara got up and left. They stopped soon, running into two familiar spirits. She twitched her ears listeing to them, and wondered if they would take some time with her now. She smiled to Cymarron, "Maybe I will show up there later, or find you if you do not find me, but right now I need to practice." She winked at him and got up walking around the corner, "Hello again everyone."

Cymarron heard new voices, ears perking up and giving a polite nod to Bastet, moved out into the halls, listening..and finding the three he would expect, and two spirits. These two however were not like the uppity one that had possessed Aura before.
"Cymarron wonders if these spirits were looking for the one who tormented the other earlier? There are many spirits here it seems. Cymarron will have to make extra sure his den is well warded."

Conversations and the like stopped as all of them turned to look at the new presence, Bastet. Aura gave her friend a smile. "Yes, hello to you again too Bastet."
Eclipse gave a snort in greeting to the cat eared woman and then sat back on his haunches, tail swishing back and forth idly. "Find what you were looking for in the library?"
Coban looked up from a curious Ecara and smiled to Bastet. One stop on his "rounds". He had been meaning to talk to her. Yet, to avoid the obstacle of Aurahkah herself her merely nodded to the cat eared woman. "Hello Bastet...been a while since I've seen you. I was hoping I could catch you some time for a chat." Hopefully the underlying meaning was clear.
Kali was almost too busy amusing the little Ecara who was trying to figure out why she could see through them both. The little one once again stuck her hand through Kali, and she just laughed. "Don't think to hard on this dear, it's quite simple. Her attention then went to Cymarron. "Hello there...you must be the one Jaxom was talking about."

He grinned lightly, and gave a curious look between bastet and the one ghost that had spoken to her..then turned his attention to the other spirit that had reffered to him and Jaxom.
"Yes. Cymarron taught him a lesson when he took the den mother's flesh for a short time. Cymarron would know what you both are called, and your purposes that keep you here."
Not to mention, he wondered what they saw when they looked at him. the Old one said that spirits see things differently..he wondered if they saw a vah, or did they see some strange almaglam of countless others? the old one hadn't allowed him to travel to the grey fields, the wavering area between the dead and the living. he was curious how the dead would see a creature like him. and certainly needed to ward completely his den in the courtyard. woudln't want a spirit stopping in without permission and seeing something Cymarron would rather they not see.
