As for the bigger failures they tend to fail so hard that they never get a chance to be burried alive so other animals pick apart their carcasses, scatter the bones, and then surface activity reduces them to tiny fragments that probably won't fossilize anyway.

That can't be empericaly proven or disproven.

The part about other animals eating their dead bodies if they find them and get the chance or the part about them having to be burried?

If 1: You don't seem to realize how hungry a lot of animals are.
If 2: I don't see you proposing any other way that minerals could collectively replace bone tissue so as to allow evidence of whatever animal with hard parts to stick around for more than a few thousand years.
...on second thought maybe I shouldn't have asked for your explanation...

I'm just gonna say, I've very proud of my time on the QotW. It's been a pleasurable experience.

Glad you've enjoyed it. Nice hat, by the way.

Why thank you, good sir.

...I mean, you're worthless.

(s**t, that was a close call)

That's just biological death- of course immortals don't have to deal with that.
As for other things like dieing on the inside, fatal girlfriend incidents, and ingestion of exploding badgers- well, immortality doesn't protect you from those.
Other things might but not immortality.
But being Immortal tends to develop all kinds of psychosis, delusion, and emtional detatchment chief among those, at this point I only feel 3 emotions: Rage, indifference and hunger.

Exploding badgers do tend to fill one's hunger.... before it makes your stomach all distended and gurgley... I don't recommend it.

More importantly, he'll probably never let me live it down.

Distracting Thad while Phil erases all evidence of this seems like a worthy plan.

But when have I ever listened to your plans?

Besides, I'm pretty sure Thaddeus can simply choose not to have his mind erased. He's got mondo willpower.

I never really have reason to erase Thad's mind, so you can claim that if you want.

It's not a matter of erasing his mind but making sure this never gets in there to begin with- or am I blind and he's already said something about it?

Well, the last thing he said here was that stuff about wolfsbane so I'm going to just assume he hasn't seen it yet.
Hurry up and destroy the evidence before it's too late!

Don't destroy the funny! It's a necessity!

Ok but put some tarps over it or something and tell him it's a migrating hill. It works on- um, I don't know if that would even convince my gullible cousin but it's worth a shot.
