Claire felt her heart do a few funny tricks in her chest when the knock finally came. Giddy, she took a shawl from her closet and wrapped it around herself before opening the door. She was absolutely beaming. "Hey." she said quietly.

"Yeah." she smiled with giddy excitement. She looked down at her dress, making gentle fists in the fabric. "Whatcha think?"

Claire grinned, looking away to hid the color on her face. She beamed back at him, putting her hand in the crook of his elbow. "Shall we go then?"

Claire felt glowing tonight. It wasn't like how she felt when she left the church at night to go to the speakeasies. This time, it was more of she felt an inner light in her shining out, and she liked it.
It didn't help much that she felt an electric sensation zapping between her and Aurian, but it did make her feel a little shy.
