hmm. I saw it a few weeks ago now. Ive been contemplating everything about it. It was very different to how I thought it would be. But I very much enjoyed it. I thought that all the songs were beautiful, I particularly enjoyed Dear Prudence, that scene was so sweet and special. I loved For the Benefit of Mr Kite. Eddie Izzard was so funny. It was like exactly like his stand up shows! And the way he said "Stuff" and "things". Very Glorious.
I loved how much of an overpowering, intense amount of songs were in there. Its a very special kind of movie that makes speaking feel alien and bizarre. Just everytime they opened their mouth and spoke I was confudes, and it sounded so odd, and I was like "what!? what are they doing? Oh speaking.."
Something was beautiful. Jim Sturgess sang it so beautifully, and I got goosebumps and I started to cry. He sang it just more stunning and lovely.
And the ending was awesome. All you need is love, and how they didnt get to each other but on the different rooftops and then "she loves you yeah yeah yeah" just very squee and Im so happy that they had that, it just, was very right. So right!
So yes, it was so different to any other movie I have ever seen, but it was beautiful and I loved it. Special.

"Something was beautiful. Jim Sturgess sang it so beautifully, and I got goosebumps and I started to cry. He sang it just more stunning and lovely." edit - . . . . than I expected him to sing it, but however he DID NOT sing it anywhere near the impossible to describe perfection that George sings it ^_^
just to clear that up, because even I was confused at how i wrote that
and also, I honestly agree, the Eddie Izzard part was just so fun and hilarious to me, I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Cant understand why people dont love it . . they must all just be insane

yeah, like to me, Something, the way Jim Sturgess sings it a ten out of ten. But the way George sings it, it doesnt even fit on a scale, its like impossible to put on a scale, because its beyond perfection to me, kind of hard for me to describe how much I love it, its infinitely perfect. Like, gawr, its not a song about a woman, its what a woman is. Yeah, George, I just cant explain. . I just, I listen to it, and it just takes me to a place, and I feel beautiful for the 3 minutes its on, Georges voice, and everything about it, no matter how wonderful a cover version is, nothing in the world could top that song for me, the way that George sings it. heart
Another song/ scene I just loved was the Come Together. That was so awesome, and the dancing business men with briefcases. Yeah, this movie was just so well done and it was genius. I just have so much respect for what Julie Taymor did.
"nice neck of the woods" XD

I almost melted into the chair I was so relaxed and tingly. Gosh, I do love to do that. Just put a Beatles song on repeat and listen over and over, the pretty much greatest thing to do in the world heart Oh, that reminds me of something that happened to me. Last week I was walking home from school and one of my neighbours (well, in another street, but close enough) had Revolver on, and loud enough to hear from the street. I walked by at Elenor Rigby, and I couldnt move, I stood outside this guys house and listened to the whole of Revolver! Then afterwards I wrote him a note saying something like "You have wonderful taste in music, Revolver is such a beautiful album. I hope you dont mind that I listened to your music, but I couldn't leave" Then I went home and listened to Revolver. Ive never done anything like that before. Urgh, I know, the Beatles. Wow. Their music just expresses so much, I think I will be in awe for the rest of my life at how raw and beautiful their music is. Its heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time, like Here Comes the Sun (on repeat), it sounds so perfect, all the guitar strums (isnt technical or guitar savvy at all) Its truly overwhelming.

oh god I hope not, I wasnt trying to be creepy, but I probably appeared that way XD the poor people that might have walked by.
YES! I love randomly finding people at my school that love the Beatles, like when I walk around with my MMT I am the Walrus bag, and people know who they are, its the awesome. And its so odd, I knew this girl for ages, and only found out a few weeks ago that she likes the Beatles because I was talking about Across the Universe.
