Just take bits and pieces from everyone else's waivers, then take their weapons rules. If anything, just hold it on a different day, maybe on the weekend, when you can hold a practice longer than two to three hours.
I prefer disclaimers simply because minors can't sign contracts alone, and that's what they're doing. I'd not like to turn anybody down simply because their parents don't sign the waiver (for whatever reason). It's basically teasing them, and that's no fun. D: Besides - there needs to be more for the teens in the entire metro area. So if I hold something, it's heavily soaked in disclaimers and such. =P
Weapons rules...I like the defined length measurements, so I'll probably absorb those. Otherwise, I'm overhauling the system completely so it's almost like a completely new game.
And I plan to hold it on one of my days off. It just wouldn't be fitting 1) if I came to the event exhausted beyond all reason or 2) when school starts back up that those still in school (HS or college) would have to miss out because of school nights. Thus, that leaves two days to choose from. Saturday is the most likely designated day because it's not on a "school night" and we've all had a chance to sleep in. :3 Then we can hold it for several hours at a time.
@Sora - You know, I do tend to get online after work on Wednesdays (most days really). =P You could always send me messages or nab my IM handles and talk to me for a while then. :3
