It took a little bit for me to digest all that she had said. "um... did you say vampire?" I took the look on her face as a yes,"how can that be Carrie, I mean, vampirism is just a myth isn't it?"

Bella scoffed. "I didn't think it would be that easy for her to believe...maybe this will help..."
In the blink of an eye she was around infront of Josie, her face just inches from hers. She flashed her a fanged smile. "If you only knew..."

"um... okay... so you’re a vampire...,"giving her a quizzical look.
"Is that what happened during summer break," looking over to Carrie.
“I don’t completely understand...,”sighing out in frustration.
“And what do you have to do with this,”facing the girl whose face was only inches from my own,"are you the one who bit her?"

"I got bitten a long, long time ago... Its slowed the prosses... It just started showing this summer. Honestly neither do I" Bellas move had suprised me and reached out "Don't do that... she'll beleive me."

Bella rolled her golden eyes and pushed herself away from Josie. She looked at Carrie. "She's thick." she said, arching an eyebrow. "No, I didn't bite her. I don't bite humans. Call me a vegetarian..." She smiled at her own joke.

"I believe you Carrie, but what are you going to do when you 'fully' change?" There was no reason for me not to believe her. The books I've read and the differences in her do nothing to bring doubt.
Glaring a bit at the girl,"was that honestly necessary?"

Bella feigned innocence. "what? The part about you being thick, or my joke?" She flashed Josie another fanged grin. She couldn't deny the sudden kinship she felt with Josaline. But she wasn't about to let the girl know that the whole reason she was here was to protect her.

I just rolled my eyes at Bella. "I don't know...sort of don't want to ... but somr people are making sure that I do..." Oops, I let a glare slip towards Bella. "I really just wanted to tell you... classes start back up soon."

"I was actually referring to when you put your fangs in my face, though the thick comment was a bit harsh, but nothing unforgivable"I corrected her smiling ear to ear.
"Who are taking care of that,"looking back at Carrie and giving her the 'tell me' look.
"What more are you hiding from me Carrie?"
At least now I know I'm not a moron for believing anything is possible, if only mother knew... she'd sure shut up... why am I thinking about my mother? I shut out other thoughts as I waited for Carrie to answer.

Bella returned Josie's smile before turning back to Carrie. As she did, the breeze carried something to her nose that recognized immediately. She cursed under her breath.
"I think that's a great idea. Get back to the school now." The urgency in her voice was evident as she swept her golden gaze over the girls. "Move!"
And with that, she slipped through the bushes to find the smell before it found Carrie and Josie.

"Come on" I started off into the woods with Josie right behind me. But my new graccful step was gone. I tripped over the first root we came to. "Great" Maybe that was a bit on the sacrcastic side... ANyways I got up and kept going, luckly there were no more falls.

Bella ghosted through the bushes, hardly making a sound as she snuck up on the smell. He was stalking himself, Bella had already guess whom his mouth watered for. She stalked up behind him before clearing her throat.
Dorian whirled around to face her in the moonlight. "Isabelle..." he stammered before recovering himself and glaring at her. "What are you doing here??"
"I could ask the same about you." Bella hissed. "I know what you are doing, and I am telling you now that I will not stand idley by and let you hurt her."
"Why do you protect her? There is no place for her among the others. Dorain's anger was growing. She will be a blemish among us.
Bella strode forward to stare him in the eye, her face just inches from his. "You will not lay a finger on her, or you will have me to answer to."
Dorian visibly struggled before he shot forward, clutching Bella's throat. "You purebloods walk around as if you own everyone. What makes you so special?" He hissed.
Bella clasped his wrist and squeezed until he let go. "Oh, Dorian." she said calmly, throwing his arm to the side. "Jealousy doesn't suit you...I am going to overlook your man handling me. And in return, you will help me personally see that Carrington isn't harmed."
Dorian's pale complextion turned paler if it was possible. Bella arched an eyebrow. "Do I make myself clear?" He nodded once before disappearing into the night.

The vampire girl's voice alarmed me as she ushered us to the school. Carrie began to run to the school and I was right at her heels. I was beginning to be use to her graceful step, but then she took me by surprise when she fell almost tripping me in the process. By the sarcasm in her voice I couldn't help myself from giggling.
