Also, the weakness of a .22LR shot can be an advantage. While a .38 or bigger shell will enter and exit a skull, a .22LR enters, and (without the proper power to punch back out) will bounce around inside the brain case. Not much, but hell, one or two ricochets is enough to knock out most vital parts. ninja

So, one or two ricochets will absolutely shred the brain.

I'd take some sort of ar15. However, Remington 870's are pretty much the only choice at my house in my current situation.

First: .45 1911m1 Second: hockey stick reason: .45 ammo is fairly common and packs one hell of a punch. and hockey sticks are really versital and blunt. cant forget blunt+reach=down and deader zombie

For close combat: a machete Long distance: a handgun with a silencer
Reason: well the machete should be obvious. A handgun is easy to carry, quicker to load, is easily accessible and still useable in close quarters. With shotguns, there's a chance that you're gun's strap can break or a zombie can come up behind you unsuspectingly and grab it pulling you with it. If you ever leave you're guard down. The silencer is so you don't get hoards of zombies trying to follow the sound of you're gun.
