James Alexander Rezenar iStoleYurVamps Pfft....Fangirls...They would swarm in en masse and devour him. *rolls on the floor laughing for about 20 seconds and soon stands up, trying to relieve himself before Alucard finds him* Ahem... this has to be the funniest one I read so far...XD ... I remember reading something that only humans can kill him... however, he never said specifically who, but I have to agree with HypnoxTheDarkKnight... if I remember correctly, my cousin was reading something about Vlad III the Impaler and she was surprised that the only person that could kill him is the master... in the case of Hellsing, it's Integra. However...-_- what kind of Vampire is Alucard? Stronger he is, the more difficult it is to kill a vampire... I mean... I created certain levels of vampires in my stories and Alucard... in my book... is a level 5... the mythical vampire... level 5 is the highest in my chart... anyways... as a level 5, he's almost impossible to kill... but to every strong person, there's a weak spot... I'll just have to figure that out...XD that whole first paragraph is what i said. and you toke the credit and gave it to your "cousin", wow... just wow...

Originally you only stated a literary correlation between the story of Vlad the Impaler and the current subject of the death of Alucard in two short paragraphs without a solid hypothesis to elaborate your theory. Him restating what you said like that is nothing to get upset over.

NoLifeKing66 To kill Alucard, you must isolate him. You must reduce him to "one man inside his castle," as the Major puts it. You must provoke him to release all of his familiars, all of the souls he has absorbed over the centuries. This will leave him vulnerable. After this, a stake through the heart may be enough to do it (Walter tries this in Volume 9, albeit with a piece of rebar). I'm not quite sure. In any case, isolation is the key. As long as he keeps all of those souls inside of him, he cannot be killed. You have to bring them out. Also, Alucard believes that he can only be killed by a human. He wants to die, but he will not kill himself (he frowns upon suicide as a sign of weakness). He will only allow a human to do the honors. At this point in the manga, that leaves only three people: Integra, Heinkel, and the Major. Heinkel is intent on kill Walter (which I'm sure she will), so I doubt she'll be the one to kill Alucard. The Major is the bad guy, which means he can't kill Alucard (even if he were to die afterward, that would mean that the primary antagonist prevailed over the primary protagonist). My money's on Integra (the master of the monster and the most human character still alive). This observation overall is the most useful. The idea of weakening him by provoking him and than striking the "fatal blow". I do suspect however that he did not use all of his power in the fight with the hordes. I assume he kept a few souls to keep him from becoming completely exposed. He would have kept somewhat week souls seeing no need to waist the usefull ones "protecting himself" since needs no protection. In particular Luke Valentine and perhaps even Leif. Whatever the case there will most likely come the time where he will tap the last of his powers. It is notable that, unlike all other vampires, he can walk in the light of day, most likely due to all of the souls he has accumulated over the centuries. Another idea is that Integra is the second reincarnation of Dracula's true love Elisabeta. It is a thought, that he might loose the last of his powers in the end killing the final enemy, protecting Integra but also making him vulnerable to to the sun, causeing him to dramatically erupt into flames. Integra would watch helplessly as Alucard was consumed in the blaze, tears in her eyes. Alucard would say his final words before ending as ash blowing away in a gust of wind. That is what I think at least. I doubt Integra would kill Alucard, however she would be the cause of his death.

It weakens them, locking them into one form. But nowhere is it stated that the sun is deadly. You do have a good point about how Alucard might be forced to make himself completely vulnerable, though.

Yes that is true, however playing too much Vampire the Masquerade tends to muddle things in my mind. The most popular idea for dramatic effect would be fire and ash, but it seems this is not the case. Rereading portions of the manga it seems that Seras is out in the day light in parts along with some other vampiric characters. It could be twilight which is not direct sunlight but I'll go with the idea that sun wont kill them.
