"...umm..."
Biting her right index fingher slightly; with her left hand resting on her hip, Katha looked up and the the row of books. After a few moments she looked back at Cora and smiled sheepishlyonce again.
"... I'm sorta that person... the only other person you could ask would be my younger brother but he's most likely busy as usual, but don't worry. The book we're probably looking for is most likely magical. It'll probably call out to us... I hope."
Katha's last words came out in a whisper as she began to look through the books on the shelves, hoping to find a book that would help Cora.

I heave a deep sigh and starts to walk down the isle of books hoping that the one I needs is not higher than 2 feet 5 inches.
While reading the titles of some of the books I hears a lot of small noise coming from the book shelves. I stop for a minute then turn to find katha was out of eyesight so in my bewilderment and confusion yelled to myself outloud " Are some of the books SNORING!?!?!"

Katha appeared behind Cora in an instant and placed a hand over her mouth and whispered...
"Shh... you don't want to wake them up... alot of them are old and get very cranky when woken up."
As if on cue, a voice came from one of the near by shelves... a cranky, upset, old voice...
"What is this? Can't a book get some rest around here? Who's making all that racket?"

Startled, I jump and land with the grace of a stoned cat.
"Racket, what racket? I see nor hear any racket...... are you sure your not just hearing things in your sleep?"
I replied with unsure sarcasm. I turn to katha and pleaded
"This can't be real can it?"

With a soft smile dancing across her lips, Katha looked at the halfling with amusment...
"Actually... yes, it is very real. This place is full of magic and items of magic"

Travis appeared infront of the section he needed to look up, when her heard a familiar voice. He wispered the name almost as a curse. "Katha" He looked around to make sure she hadden't seen him. He walked quickly away from the place, looking back to be sure she wasn't following him. He turned around just in time to run right into a stack of books that hadn't sorted themselves yet.

Travis Celendel Travis appeared infront of the section he needed to look up, when her heard a familiar voice. He wispered the name almost as a curse. "Katha" He looked around to make sure she hadden't seen him. He walked quickly away from the place, looking back to be sure she wasn't following him. He turned around just in time to run right into a stack of books that hadn't sorted themselves yet. As Katha was about to answer Cora, her face took on a distant look, as if something off in the distance caught her attention. That look remained for a few moments until she recognized the new energy that had entered the library. A sultry smile crossed her lips that grew deeper when she heard the sound of falling books. She looked down at Cora, "I'll be right back, don't go any where."With that, Katha vanished from in front of Cora, only to appear right in front of Travis... well... more like only a few inches from Travis' face with that same sultry smile on her face. Before Travis could react, Katha threw her arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug that placed Travis' face firmly between Katha's bosom. "Travis! How long has it been since I've seen you? My how you've grown."

Travis' face was one of uttur horror as Katha appeared before him. His arms flailed wildly about and he screamed random gibberings from between her assets. He tried to push her away, but his hands bolted out as they touched her stomache.

I stood there for a few thinking about what katha said "Don't go anywhere....eh? ... well then let's check this place out shall we." and with that I walked further down the "Gardening" section and hung a right walked down a few more isles hung another right and just walked down the isle untill I came across a lone desk with a single black book laying upon it. "Huh... wonder what this book is about." I step up to the book and lightly tap it on the cover "Hello, are you one of the magical books of this place or are you a normal one?"

Nothing was said... this book seemed to be perfectly normal on the outside. Upon the black leather book's cover was embossed one word, " Beren"... below the word, in the center of the book was a shield with one right angel wing folded over the front of it with a left demon wing folded over the first.

After a few minutes of waiting with no responce form the book I look around to see that no one is watching but yet I feels as if there are eyes upon me. I shrug off the discomfert as I sit if front of the book. I flip open the cover and randomly thumb through a few pages then flip to the back half of the book, you know not quite middle but not quite the end, and start reading the passages while thinking to myself " I wonder who Beren is, hope he's cute"

At the sound of a soft whisper by my ear, I promtly jumped 5 feet out of the chair, landed next to it with daggers in each hand ready to defend myself. "What the hell are you thinking?!? Scaring people like that! Have you no sence of propriaty at all???" I looked at the person connected with the voice and with a rogue eye realized that it was not an actual person but in fact a shadow of a person. In seeing this I calmly put my daggers away smoothed away the wrinkles in my outfit and replied "Why yes, actually I am, Now if you'll excuse me" I sit back at the desk flip three pages over and starts to read again

A small smirk crossed S.Cole's lips as he walked over to Cora and stood next to her as she read the leather-bound book. Looking at what section she was reading, S.Cole shook his head slightly,
"You know, It is rather impolite to read someone's tale of their life..."
The shadow stared at Cora for a moment, feeling two familiar energies inside the library, one was which seemed to be surrounding the halfling...
