Wave glanced over at him. It seemed like he had come for a swim. And he didn't actually sound annoying for once, though Wave was sure that was going to be remedied very soon. "Oh, the day goes good, except that Trementh decided she wanted a bathing and an oiling. I spoiled her, I think." Wave commented, eyeing the Scarlet's tail as she moved it threateningly.

"Well, dragons deserve a little spoiling every now and then, I suppose. I spoil my firelizard to death" As if on cue, the little green appeared above them, trilling happily until she caught sight of the scarlet. Her high pitched trill turned into an apologetic croon before landing on Devayn's upraised hand, quickly brought to his chest to be cuddled. "This is Pookie. Pookie, Waverly and Trementh. Trementh and Waverly, Pookie"

Wave rolled her eyes. She would've said something more on the subject, but Trementh moved her tail again. And since Wave didn't want to get swatted again, she kept her mout shut. But she watched Devayn's flitt with interest. "Pookie? And unusual name for a flitt. But sure, it's nice." she commented, still scrubbing away at Trementh's hide.

Fremorth emerged from the Bowl and flew up to his perch with Le'am. He leaned against the shadow and asked, Do you want to go down to the lake for a sanding? The dragon answered with a 'yes' and Le'am mounted, picking up Leia, and they flew out of the Weyr. He looked down to see Wave and another guy down there. He recognized Wave from seeing her almost everyday, pampering her spoiled dragon, he rolled his eyes.

Amarith didn't even lift up her head, or make any move to let them know that she even knew they were there. But she would watch them. If they came too close, she'd snap at them. They may not be her eggs, but she protected them like they were.

Fremorth landed on the water and glided to the bank, letting Le'am and Leia get off. Le'am took out the sand and started to sand down Fremorth. Fremorth let out a pleasent growl and his mouth formed a slight smile. He loved it when Le'am sanded him.

(Thaaaaank you, Chase! *Glomps her*)
Piroth bugled in pure joy. Let us fly! With a sudden and powerful bunching of muscles, she shoved herself off the ground and into flight, almost violently, and quickly gained altitude.
"She does love to fly," Necia commented absently, watching her dragon go a bit higher, the sun shining off the red hide and making a startling contrast of darks and lights play on it.
Kai smiled broadly up at the Scarlet, feeling the unadultered joy and freedom of flight. Momentarily she was disoriented, eyes on the dragon and her breath constricted in her chest. Feeling it like that was a new experience for her.

Amarith did nothing in response, though she seemed to be pleased at the comments about how the eggs were. And the girl od the pair really knew how to be polite and how to show respect where it was deserved. Yes, Amarith was a bit arrogant, but weren't all Golds?

The two-toned brown watched her take off and, after allowing her to pass over him he took off after her. His wings snapped open and stirred up the dustupon the ground in a display of miniature twisters. Zalenth roared in a playful manner and gave chase to follow the scarlet wherever she would lead him.
Zalenth swept his wings to gain height, passing up into a cloud bank, dark with rain but not yet released to the ground below, before spiraling down alongside Piroth as his eyes churned with thrill. Tucking in his wings, the two-toned brown twisted upwards on a draft of warm air as he performed various stunts forged by his love of flight and freedom.
Gazing upon the scarlet as her hide glistened with the immaculate rays of the Pernese sun, he bellowed a roar as he sped up and nipped her neck.
You're it, Piroth! Displaying somewhat of a draconic grin, Zalenth shot up towards the cirrus clouds, formulating a plan to throw the scarlet off his tail.
Stryder looked up in awe as she watched Zalenth spiral and soar within the sky, elegantly and majestic as if he harbored a true sense of freedom while engaging in flight. She smiled as she sheilded the lights from her eyes, Tell me everything tonight, Zally.
I won't leave a single detail out, Strydermine.

(You like the word "immaculate", don't you, Stry? Lol)
Rising to the challenge as a stereotypical Scarlet- heck, a stereotypical dragon- would, Piroth managed to catch a slightl thermal and with powerful wing strokes, quickly moved her sturdy, 82 foot body after him.
That n** will cost you, Zalenth! You are mine now! With an exhilarent bugle, she chased him, sensing that Trementh had moved anyway and that they would be unable to sun with her.
Necia laughed. "She really is close to my personality; she's got the temper and the way of accepting her challenges like each one must be won."
Kai grinned as well. "They really are very beautiful. I certainly hope that when the 25 in the Clutch Amarith is guarding so stolidly hatch I Impress. That would certainly be a new experience, and I don't think I'd regret a minute of it."
"Most never do. I certainly never have. I mean, if you, as a woman, can take the Flights that your dragon goes through- if she's female-, then you're fine." Kai's eyes had widened at the mention of the famed Flights, and she looked away. The thought was bad enough, but if she Impressed and then her dragon had a Flight... her feeling of dragons would certainly put her in an even worse position.
"Oh...."

Down on the Weyr Bowl, blue flecked faceted eyes looked up into the sky to watch the two dragons flying around in that carefree manner. The watching eyes were those of a fairly large dragon, 121 feet in total length. The dragon was the Bronze Kerrineth, and his Rider was J'riv. Said Bronzerider was resting next to his dragon, his head and back leaning against the coppery hide, his head and chin tilted backwards slightly to gaze up at the Pernese sky. Those two seem to be having fun J'riv commented, looking over at Kerrineth. Kerrineth swished his tail in the air above the man, not looking down at him.
Yes, they do seem like they are. Fairly energetic, too-like that little one of yours. the dragon agreed, stretching out one of his wings to its fullest. J'riv chuckled softly, amused at the reference to his Brown-Teal Flitt, Soren. Soren was indeed an energetic, can't be quiet Fire-Lizard. Almost as if the dragons mention of the Flitt has summoned him, along with J'riv's two other Flitts-steadfast Blue Ren and Possessive Scarlet Ker-the three soon appeared from /between/ to flap their wings not to far from the pair. Ren immediately upon appearing, flew down towards J'riv and settled himself onto his shoulder, giving a satisfied chirp. The Blue Flitt soon fell asleep, his neck curled around the man. soren, like his nature, soon began to chirp in a slightly annoying, and quite insistant, manner. The Bronze-Teal Two-Toned Flitt would be at it for awhile, chattering away in the language of Fire-Lizards. Ker had taken to chirping at both Ren and Soren in a scolding way, J'riv catching something about how the two had taken it upon themselves to steal a meatroll from the kitchens. Indeed, the said meatroll was seen in Soren's claws, half-eaten. The Bronzerider shook his head slightly.

((lol..yes quite fond of the word but I'll try and break the habit.))
Spreading his wings to their fullest, furiously thrashing about as the scarlet began to pull ahead, Zalenth spirlaws within the sky though he occasionally glanced back towards Piroth in attempt to discern her next move. She was sly, taking advantage of her speed and agility but somehow he would formulate the perfect manuve to out smart her.
You'll have to catch me, Piroth!
His smug yet playful comment brought a swirl of green and blue to his eyes. The clouds seemed to disperse as they pressed onward, the Pernese sun filtering through and creating a pathway for Piroth to follow.
Taking advantage of his wingspan he pressed them to his back and straightened his tail and neck, cutting air resistance yet allowing his wings to act like a sail strapped to his back that he could shoot straight and quicken his pace.
Stryder grinned as she onlooked both Zalenth and Piroth, their hides seemed to glisten with a radiant glow as they froliced within the boundless skies of Pern. "I say they both reflect our personalities so acurately. It's like you're looking at yourself, your traits if you were a dragon." Laughing as she watched the two-toned brown soar rampantly, she shrugged. "Or that's how I like to picture it but I think it would be quite a thrill being a dragon. Yet with the bond we share as rider and dragon, sometimes I can feel the winds against brush against his hide or sense the warmth of the sun dousing him as he basks on the cliffs."
Smiling towards Kai as she remarked awaiting the hatching of the clutch Amarith was protecting, Stry nodded in agreement. "It's an experience you'll never forget. I wish you the best of luck on the sands Kaivani."

Looking up at her red locks, Necia grinned. "I certainly would be a lot like Piroth."
Kai smiled, slightly shy. "Thank you, Stryder. Though... I admit that the thought of Flights frightens me somewhat." Her voice was soft and, taking pity on her friend, Necia moved over and hugged Kai.
"It's not so bad. You just have to remember that you pick what rider you want. Your dragon may not be picky the first time, but you need to help her understand she has to choose a good dragon."
Piroth soared upward, then suddenly pulled in her wings and angled herself downward, going into what looked like a freefall but was actually a very controlled dive. You are not worth catching, she teased. I will exact revenge when you least expect it, Zandeth.
