I like the high notes better because the low notes make you hard to hear. I am in a horrible band they all suck, and since I transferred from one of the BEST bands I am their number 1 band person. So my band director told me to play everything up an octave so all the other bad people can hear me xD

I prefer low notes. They're a lot easier to me, and sound less.... I don't know what it is, but I like their sound better. XD
i like low note better it sounder prettier and it easier to play

I like them both. Low notes are easier, and I love how they sound in soothing music, but then again, if I'm hyper and ready to play (or annoy people......) I go straight for the high notes (especially on the piccolo blaugh ). My band director actually has to hide the piccolos from time to time because me and the other flute/piccolo in the band will take them and either a)say hello to people blaugh b)play super peppy songs over and over again to the point of insanity or c)one of us play high e-flat, the other high f twisted
The only note I hate is high C. It's the only note I ever have a problem with keeping from going too sharp >_<

4laugh I actually like both equally. The low notes are very moving and can be sooooo gorgeous sometimes. But, the high notes can leave a listener spellbound as you are getting the beautiful or playful melody across. Therefore, I guess I am saying that no matter what you play on a flute, it will be enchanting. 3nodding

i kinda like both it depends on the song too low i play high and then too high i play low xp
low...my pet peeve is when people tell me I shouldn't play low just because I'm in front... And they sound so much prettier. And I know how to play them better than most just because I love them so much!!!
