Mahina relaxed when she saw it was two people around her age. Hmm....its probably a couple on a vacation her eyes lit up excitedly, Perhaps, if I befriend them, they might hear me sing tonight and those lovebirds'll help me out! she thought. Her 'helping out' meant raw cash. She went up to them and bowed. "I just saw you sail in and thought I'd welcome you" a friendly smile was plastered on her face, "I'm Mahina." she frowned a little. "Not like I am a welcomer here or anything but always try to be friendly, right?"

Mahina laughed loudly, which might have seemed strange to them. "Oh no, hon. I am just your average, everyday street singer. I'd be lucky enough to eat a qaurter of what who-ever-the-heck-is-the-king eats" she surpressed more giggles.

"Yeah, sure. I am not sure if they take air temple money though" to her surprise she blurted out, "But they owner of the hotel owes me for singing at his daughter's wedding so I think I can get you a free room. Zida, that was your name, wasn't it? I can probably get one room out of that cheap...well lets leave it at that...but you would trust me enough to share a room with me right? It has an extra bed and everything" she offered, if not, she could probably spare some to get another room.

Mahina laughed again. "No, no silly. Your, hmmm I am taking a shot at this one but, boyfriend here can get his own room. The one I got came with three beds" she said. There was something about them, especially the girl, that she seemed to relate to.

Zida burst out laughing when she saw Bo's reaction. "What, Bo? So horrible even imagining me as your girlfriend? No, Mahina...I just happened to get a ride with him because I was in the middle of the ocean and so was he."
