Suddenly, a tomahawk axe went flying and hit the soldier holding Joshua right in his face, instantly killing him. An archer tried to ready his arrow, but Joseph had already jumped him and stabbed him through the head with his sword. The third archer did manage to get off a shot, and it hit Joseph right in his back. Joseph fell to the ground. "My Lord, are...you....ok? Three lightly armored spearmen came running out from the shadows. "Surrender or they die!"

Another spearman tried to stab Joshua, but Joseph jumped in front of it and stopped it from hitting Joshua. "You...will not....harm...HIM!!" Joseph grabbed his axe from the dead archer, spear still inside him and sliced off the head of the spearman. After that he collasped.

Shigure nodded to Steffan and ran out the door into the night. He looked around for Joshua. He then heard the sound of fighting. He then seen Joshua and Joseph fighting. He then rushed over to join the fight. A knight got behind Sigure and tried to stab him but Shigure took his sword and stab him in the heart. "Are you guys okay." He said as another solider tried to get in his way and killed him too. He then seen the lance in Josesph's chest. "Ouch!! Let me help you." He slowly pulled it out of his chest. He didn't want to make the wound any worse. "My Lord you shouldn't run off during the night. You know people are trying to kill you." Shigure said to him. He then got the lance out and then took off his armor and shirt off to bandage Joseph.

Joshua was about to say some smart-a** remark until he heard joseph cough up blood. And then stood up, " You make sure he doesnt get hit again. I'll fight the soldiers! " He then ran off with his blade held tightly in both hands. He hacked away at the soldiers recklessly, he was so mad. But a soldier had snuck up on him and hit him right in the back of the head, knocking him out. And at the same time a horse-man grabbed Joshua, and rode away with the now unconcious joshua on his horse. The knight was going to use Joshua as a hostage for mney and food.

Steffan showed up, cutting through the soldiers with his lance, and with his other hand an axe. The weapons evenly weighed out so his horse didnt fall over. He made his way through to shigure and joseph. "Where is the prince?! " he asked.

Joseph looked up at Shigure. "Please...aid the....Prince and Princess....leave me." He coughed up more blood, and now his chest was red. "So this...is how....it ends..." Joseph's body went limp.

Steffans face was twisted with anger, "Are you kidding me?! You know they could easily kill him there! It's going to be hell just trying to get him out! " He was very angry, but he tried his best to mantain that anger, he couldnt get out of contol. He was the commander.

Joshua awoke in a fortress like place. It smelled like blood, it smelled rotten, what was it? He would have said something if he werent being dragged around like a peice of merchandise. They treated him like a slave. They didnt feed him at all. And if he missbehaved, they hit him. Bruises covered his body, making his body sore and making it that much harder to do the work he was told. A few days later, he attacked one of the soldiers. " DAMMIT! " he yelled, " Let me go! I'm a prince!!! " How foolish that was to say. He slugged the soldier. And stomped on his head as hard as he could, killing him. Another soldier appeared, with a gun, " ..whether you're a prince of that country or not. it doesnt matter anymore. " Joshua's eyes widened, but he was still angry. How dare he pull a gun on him? He charged at the soldier, an axe held tightly in his hand. The soldier dodged and shot Josh. right in the shoulder. Joshua's eyes were as wide as ever. He gasped, and his face immediately turned white, he fell helplessly to the ground. The soldier laughed, " ...Here. You're only a slave. Your royalty before means nothing. ...Remember that. "

Steffan sighed, "....Get Matthew, and meet me at the towns entrance. " He picked up Joseph, then nodded at Shigure. "We'll just have to heal him on the way there. We can't let them get away with the prince. They'll expect us to ambush them tommorow, so we have to ambush them. Tonight. "

Joshua whimpered a little in pain. The bullet had not only gone through his skin, muscle, and a couple vains. But it had cracked his bone slightly too. " ...s....scew you...." He managed to whisper. YOU'LL WISH YOU WERE DEAD! " He started kicking Joshua around. Joshua's eyes widened, his breath knocked out of him. The soldier laughed again picking Joshua up by his collar and slugging him a few times before dropping him to the ground. Joshua struggled to get his breath back, "...urgh... " Joshua was barely concious. The soldier laughed, spit on the ground beside him, and stomped off. Joshua lay on the cold ground he was on. Moaning in pain, trying to get up, but unable to because he was so beat up.
